Best place around for a good coffee, staff are always quick to serve as its hard for them to prep coffee in time for people to catch trains. I go there multiple times a week sometimes solo, sometimes with the family and it's always good. Thanks guys 👌🏼

Appalling service. Advised that train was due in 5 mins, said drinks could be made. Staff chatted instead of making drinks. When multiple customers complained one staff said “don’t start with me” my self and multiple other customers had walk out without our drinks/food to get the train. Hands down the worst service.

Got to the cafe 13 minutes before our train - the staff asked us what time our train was and we were rudely told ‘ no way’ . There was around 3/4 members of staff behind the bar, despite this two flat whites could not be made in 13 minutes ? Why have a railway cafe if you are unable to serve commuters

A fantastic coffee shop located right at Dorridge Train Station. I make sure to visit every time I'm in the area. They make the best espresso in Dorridge and Knowle.

I had a delightful experience at the coffee shop located at Dorridge Train Station. The cosy atmosphere, paired with a nice cup of tea, made my wait for a connecting train quite enjoyable. The staff's friendliness and efficient service stood out, making it a perfect spot to relax before continuing my journey. Conveniently situated at the train station, it's an ideal choice when you have time to spare for a warm drink and a comfortable break. I highly recommend it for both the tea aficionado and those looking for a pleasant stop during transit.

First time I have caught the train from Dorridge and fancied a hot drink for the train to London. Appreciating the train would be due very soon I asked if it was possible to get two hot drinks to go by the time the train was due. I was rudely told no chance. It was a short period of time I understand but a simple no sorry would have sufficed. First impressions are everything and I won’t be back.

A complete rip-off! Asked for a flate white £3.25 - the smallest cup and when I sat down on the train that I nearly missed was presented with a concoction of warm brown sludge!

Great halloumi brioche and coffee. Fun seeing the trains whizz past the open doors.

Best and I really mean the BEST bacon sandwich I've had in years. Great peppermint tea and lovely friendly and efficient service. Unexpected delight when waiting to change trains.

4 people behind the counter not partially busy No one looked up to acknowledge me - waited around 8 minutes., until they served someone else who just came in. When I pointed this out - nothing. We left.

Tasty food, but too expensive! I think this establishment know they have a captive audience because a lot of travellers change trains here…nearly £10 for a flapjack and a very small brioche bun with a little halloumi and salad, plus an attitude when I commented on the price. Then informing me the food is freshly made and they are “not a chain”. Admittedly the flapjack was very nice.

Went for coffee and we used to love this coffee shop but we went at lunchtime and sadly it just looked very tired and to be honest a bit run down and dirty. The floor needed a jolly good clean. The windows were dirty and the leather seats could have looked brand new again if only someone would give the leather a clean. The tables needed re oiling or a good varnish too. It wouldn’t take much to get it looking lovely again. Same with the toilet. Just looking grubby. The food was ok. Nothing special and we ordered sourdough with avocado and feta at £7.50 each. We got bread not sourdough and the thinnest layer of avocado with a crumble of feta. Dry and a bit unappetising. No longer selling my favourite flapjack which is such a great cyclists snack. All in all I think we will try and cycle elsewhere. I was just disappointed as was so excited to take my friend there on our cycle day out. I wonder if perhaps it has changed ownership but I won’t be in a rush to go back.

I was waiting for the London train yesterday (Monday 10th October). I had 8 minutes before the train was due. I ordered two hot drinks. One person was ahead of me and had ordered. After about 5 minutes It became obvious to me that they were still making drinks for people sitting in the cafe. But by the time I realised this, my train arrived and like a Couple of other people, including the person in front of me, had to leave and run for the train. I get that the drinks are done in order, but had II been told it takes 10 to 15 mins to get a drink obviously I wouldn't have ordered them. I feel cheated out of the £5.80 they took from me. I selected to messenger chat to them via their website whilst I was on the train. But as of this morning they haven't bothered to reply to my concern. If you are running a cafe that is obviously serving the public and rail travellers, it is beholden upon you to let people know there is a delay to making the drinks. I've used this cafe several times, but don't feel inclined to use again.

Slow service, bland coffee and overpriced (£6 for a bacon & brie toastie!), Coffee served in paper cups and toastie in a paper bag, despite eating in. To be fair, though, the toastie, whilst small and overpriced, was delicious.

Their avocado on sourdough bread with chilli flakes is to die for - and you don't need to get a train!

Having left London early to get to Stratford and having had no breakfast, we were super super happy to get out at Porridge spelt with a D and stumble on this gem of deliciousness and friendliness. Super bacon sarnies and lovely avocado on toast. Every station should have a cafe like this one. Thank you from Cathy Jackson

Stopped off here 3-4 times, generally unfriendly service…..and today decided to get a coffee before a train just after 4pm….perfect they are open till 4. Got there at 3.32 and the coffee machine was switched off « because we close at 4 «  hmm think they need to adjust their published opening times

So much prefer this style of lovely independent coffee shop rather than the chain of costas etc. The quality of both the food and drinks is top notch. Really nice craft coffee from local artisan coffee roasters in Stratford, which is so nice that they support other local businesses. Love the breakfast brunch and they have good vegan options too. Great atmosphere and vibes to sit inside or outside. Love that they are really environmentally friendly – wooden cutlery, paper straws, eco compostable coffee cups, even the mineral water is in recyclable aluminium cans rather than plastic bottles! I see in other reviews a couple of people have complained about some of the prices, but I find it reasonable and definitely think you get what you pay for and the quality of the ingredients, their steps to support local suppliers and their extra care towards the environment is worth it. Love it here!

Stopped off whilst changing trains at Dorridge station. You can't access the cafe from the platform, which makes picking something up quickly a bit of a nightmare. I understand the covid improvements a one way system can provide but that's not practical for a train station. A croissant and a rice crispy cake cost £5.40 and weren't that special.

This place is an absolute gem. I'm so thankful they've remained open throughout the whole of lockdown. Their vegan offerings have definitely improved over the past 6 months, meaning I can always treat myself rather than only when somethings available! Thanks guys, see you soon! xx

Service is always nice even when they have a full house a young gentlemen has served me on both of my visits and I cannot fault his customer service, I look forward to a return visit. Prices that won't break you.

The best coffee around, served by people who really care about what they are doing. I go here most days as it's the best coffee in Dorridge by far.

I called in at 3.45pm on 04/09/20. I was immediately rudely told off by the barista lady for coming in the ‘wrong way’ despite the fact that (from the platform) there is no access whatsoever - nor any sign telling you that. I was grudgingly given a coffee (£2.50!! in a polystyrene!!! cup) and then told I couldn’t even pay in cash. This must be the last cafe in England that insists on Visa card payments. I left feeling insulted. I shall never return, that’s for sure.

Except as usual, started using the cafe when they reopened and has been great. Lovely staff, good coffee and tasty flap jacks. We will continue to use Espresso.

Espresso has reopened as a takeaway only, although they do have one small table seating two people on the down platform. The coffee is just as good as it always was, with quick service

We often come here after taking our dog for a walk around Dorridge Park and so handy as they accept dogs inside. Only a tiny place but you can get good coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc and croissants, cake, biscuits and light lunches. An ideal place to pass some time if you are waiting for a train.Friendly staff and they are open on Sundays too.Can highly recommend this place.

Came in today for a t/a coffee. Absolutely lovely little spot, my almond milk flat white and gf lemon polenta slice were beautiful. Wish I lived closer as I'd be in weekly for a treat. Amazing menu too! Thanks for startingy day off right ♥️

Can you believe a banana here costs 75p. Is this the most expensive banana in a cafe? Convenient location, glad of the facilities at the station but not value for money. Work 3 mins to Sainsbury's and get a banana for 25p.

Stopped here for a coffee mid bike ride. Plenty of seating outside, good selection of cakes but most importantly one of the best flat whites I’ve had.

Wonderful coffee in a beautiful cafe and lovely staff.

Located at Dorridge train station, we got a drink here whilst waiting for the train. Very nice and relaxing inside and the staff were friendly.Ordered some drinks and snacks, which were ok. The only thing I would suggest is letting customers add their own amount of milk into theirs drinks as the tea we ordered had too much milk in it for our liking.

Nice bustling vibe at sleepy Dorridge station. Great coffee in a contemporary setting. Dog and child friendly too, judging by the water bowls and toy boxes.

Used to be a coffee shop called something else before and run by a grumpy fella. Since it has become Espresso Station, it it much better. I pop in for a hot chocolate now and then and have had some lunch a few times too. All excellent and friendly staff. Thanks.

Every Tuesday pop in for hot chocolate before picking up grandchildren from school. A very pleasant break.

Coffee shop with an entrance straight off the platform at Dorridge train station making a very handy place to wait for a train or meet people. Coffee is good and the staff are friendly. They do a range of hot chiabatta sandwiches (just bacon is a solid one) along with the typical pastries you would expect. Not the cheapest coffee shop but on par with one of the big chains and definitely a much better quality of product and setting.

We regularly pop into here after walking our dogs sat & sun. Great place, obviously dog friendly, happy staff. Reasonable prices

I was early for an appointment in Dorridge so popped in for a quick coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the decor great - and the coffee delicious. Seems to be a popular spot, and not just with station users. Will definitely be back!

This is definitely the best coffee place around. 1000% better than Costa and The Forest. Love the interior and the busy feel of the place. The staff are often friendly and helpful! If you need coffee in your life then you must visit.

We have been visiting this café for over a year. It's the perfect stop for a drink or lunch. Our dog Willow loves the café. The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are exceptional.

If I ever go for a coffee in Dorridge it’s always here. Coffee is a million times better than at Costa or The Forest, it’s dog friendly and the sandwiches, cakes and pastries are great. Lots of thoughtful touches, obliging staff and water on tap. Love it.

We pop in here quite a bit - not just when getting the train but at all times of day. Always friendly and quick service and serve good coffee. Extra bonus is that dog friendly so great after long walk in the park.

This is a really great cafe - perfect for meeting friends, or to pick up a coffee for your train journey. Yet another plus for Dorridge.

I want to thank the team at Espresso Station - Dorridge and especially ms Susan Knight who took care of my forgotten bag in their coffee shop. Coffee was great too, in good prices and nice custom service. When they found out about it they immediately e-mailed me so I wouldn't have to worry. So, thanks again Susan.

Great little coffee shop where i had a great Latte and a pana raisin on a very cold snowy day. Toasty, modern, friendly and comfortable coffee shop situated in the station building at Dorridge station.

Certainly good quality. Good decoration and a good bite if you have a long wait for a train as it is next to Dorridge station.

Missed my train and had to wait an hour for the next one. Delighted to find this coffee shop, just what a station needs. Great coffee, lovely cake. Didn’t try any of the other food but it looked like a good range of sandwiches and baking. I’d be tempted to schedule in a deliberate break in my journey if I was travelling this way again.

My son and I called in for a coffee a few Sunday's ago. I've been here and every time there's a warm welcome. Espresso is visited by both commuters, walkers (dogs are encouraged) and shoppers alike. It has a lovely atmosphere and fantastic coffee, hot chocolate and cakes/pastries. Much more friendly than the high street coffee shops!

I went with my wife here as we were too early to visit friends. The charming little cafe sits between the road and the railway and is in an ideal location for travellers. It has access on the station to immaculate toilets too. The coffee and pain au chocolat were excellent. No bitterness with coffee like you get with some national entities. Parking is easy and it is also near the main shops. Try it if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

The last time I went to this cafe, the coffee was adequate, food choice limited and the owner grumpy. What a joy to discover a revamped cafe - comfy and welcoming, at lunchtime it was full of locals, I was the only traveller, which, considering it is located slap bang next to the station platform, is credit in itself.
