Best go-to place for quick and tasty food

I came to taste collective today and there is a new vendor, Indian BBQ, i tried the loaded fries with the hot chicken and a mixture of sauces. It was all nice and fresh, the pomegranates are a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Very quick very tasty food. Clean facilities. Highly recommended.

Great wings meal at The Wing Social . Not the cheapest around but everything is cooked fresh to order and is worth the extra.

Food options are fabulous, I knocked a star off for uncomfortable seating but we come here often as we like different things so one can have a shawarma and another can can the awesome cheesy pasty. Good for a meal after a day of shopping but I do wish they had better seats and tables x

Food was fast, hot fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend for a great selection of foods and drinks.

We regularly visit. Often, we walk the dog in the local park and pay Taste Collective a visit on the way through town. Dog friendly and spoilt rotten! Most of the time we just grab a drink but we have eaten there a few times. Our family group have food allergies to contend with, but the manager is always helpful and reassuring - as it can be a bit daunting ordering online from a group of different vendors. No need to worry though; our needs were managed perfectly. All the food we've eaten there is top quality and a good price. We went there on Father's Day and burgers were half price. My daughter and husband ordered burgers and literally inhaled them, they were that good. I'd ordered a lamb shwarma rice bowl which, despite looking longingly at those burgers when they arrived, did not disappoint. The wait for the food was minimal - just enough time to get your drinks and have a chat. We've eaten from all the current food vendors in the past and have been pleased each time. The idea of the Taste Collective is fab and well worth a visit. As it is located in a covered area, outside; bear this in mind when planning your visit. Although heaters are hanging from the ceiling everywhere to deal with cold weather, it may be too hot inside on a hot, summers day. Even on quiet days, there seems to be a good buzz about the place. We'd really like to attend one of their quiz nights, but doubt it would be suitable for our daughter. Great food, especially the wings platter from the wing social, and the pizzas from Amore was delicious.

This was a good treat, a new wing shop with awesome crispy tenders. Amazing Burgers from BMU. A good Shawarma bowl from Fireway was a delighting dine-in experience. Millie is friendly and attentive. Had a lovely time out with family.

Just had food at Taste Collective from The Wing Social, absolutely banging! Had the wing platter and the tender platter will defo be back!

Good atmosphere with the football on a Friday night. Had a starter from burger me up of daredevil beef burger which was tasty. Amore also did some great doughballs. But crown jewel was definitely the chicken wings from wing social… taste collective is going to be a great summer spot!!

Been here a few times and it’s always been great. Brilliant concept for a family/group when everyone cant agree what to go out for. Service is always good- Ayaz made some great cocktails and Edna is always so friendly and polite. 3 of us had food from different outlets, burger, pizza and Cajun box, all tasted amazing. Great place to visit in the summer!

Always great! Perfect for a speedy lunch. Plenty of seating, nice selection of drinks and food. Cajun soul my current favourite, chicken cob with Cajun gravy is superb. Wash that down with a mango cider 🫶

Lots of free tables. Asked for a drink so we could sit and relax for maximum of an hour and we were told that the place was absolutely full with people queueing outside which was completely untrue and half an hour later there was still lots of free tables. Very strange experience so can only assume this is not a family friendly venue on a Saturday afternoon at 5 pm. Definitely one to avoid as a young family.

Big fan of the Taste Collective! Cajun soul is the best place to eat in Solihull! The food tastes amazing every time and I am a repeat customer! I bring my friends to Taste Collective just to try the fried chicken as I rave about it, no one is ever disappointed! The portions are perfect and the chicken poutine is my favourite, tastes incredible and always so fresh! Service also so friendly, overall great experience every time, highly recommend you visit to try!

Had an absolutely amazing time there the other nigh. Our waitress Millie was fantastic, couldnt ask for a better server. Quick and fast service!

Really delicious food and good service. Burger was amazing and others really enjoyed their pizza and shawarma. Staff were happy to change the tv channels to match the football family wanted to watch. Most of all the food was 10/10, definitely recommend.

Had a top class pizza and halloumi bites. We were welcomed and served by Kay and Ayaz who were both lovely and helpful! Overall delightful trip!

We went here as a group for the Thursday Quiz Night. Was lots of fun! The staff were really attentive and friendly. The Quiz host was also great and very funny. We’d definitely come again and would recommend.

There are quite a few restaurants there and it is pet-friendly. The burgers we ordered were really tasty.

Couldn't believe I watched such unprofessional work from staff Chatting amongst each other hardly paying attention to any customer. Then again they were all kids so my advice give it a miss not worth it which is a shame the food was good. I'd love to shout out the vendor but that would mean you may go there to try it and im advising not to so catch 22. If the vendor ever branches out then I'd gladly keep my eye out.

Still rude and ignorant. Quite surprised this place is still going. During a visit to Solihull this would be the last place I'd be going to for food

It is a great place to sit, eat, and watch rugby or football with excellent food options. It is our favorite place in Solihull.

The food from amore pizza’s was great and the service was even better. Calum has always made us feel welcome and part of the family. Asset to the restaurant ! Why isn’t he manager yet ?

A great space to meet friends or spend time with the family. There’s an varied selection of food traders to choose from so there really is something for everyone, including those with a sweet tooth; they have recently added a dessert trader serving treats such as waffles and milkshakes. You can order via your phone for convenience and you will find great events on throughout the month - our personal favourite is music bingo! We love Taste Collective so much we kinda go out of our way to visit, so if you’re local or shopping in Solihull, we highly recommend.

The Bank in Hartlepool is a fab place, food is 10/10. Quick, really tasty, value for money.

Lovely outdoors venue with very good food and friendly staff. The beef brisket and the chicken grill were really tasty. Great atmosphere. We'll definitely come back!

This place is great, been here several times and the food and service is very consistent. Pizza is some of the best I've ever had and the cajun soul halloumi box is so good. Staff are friendly and fast even when it's busy.

Have visited several times and really enjoyed the food. Last night, we shared buffalo wings from Wing Social, burgers from Burger-Me-Up, and shared a waffle from Sweet Things. All of the food came quickly and tasted great.

Fantastic food, shout out to Callum. Great customer service. Food was a little bit late but Callum couldn't apologise enough although he was totally run off his feet you would nwver lnow!!! Are at the new vendor The Indian BBQ. Has the Amritsar fish and chips and. chicken tikka. It was amazing with friendly service. Would highly recommend a visit.

Had the Amritsar fish and chips. A variation on fish and chips inspired by the a popular traditional street food consisting of fish from the city of Amritsar in the Punjab state in Northern India. Lovely favour, and good level of spice. I'm a huge fish fan so really enjoyed the dish. I had the mint yoghurt and coriander sauce which complemented the fish perfectly. Loved the toppings of peppers, tomatoes and onions. Only improvement I'd suggest is to have more fish and less masala chips, but this is only a minor complaint.

Really great food here, something for everyone. Had a delay on the food but service team made up for it with some free drinks. Indian BBQ Chicken Tikka grill is a must. Good portion sizes and tasty 👍🏽

Came with a group of friends and tried Cajun Soul. We absolutely loved it. Charlie was so friendly, and the food was amazing! Apparently he’s a new addition. What can I say, the food was amazing. I look forward to bringing business colleagues back for more in July. Cajun food is different which is what we were looking for. Certainly not disappointed . Great choice Taste Collective.

This place is amazing. We were shopping around and waiter Callum saw us looking at the menu and asked us to give it a try on his recommendation. Callum’s service was 10/10, so friendly and helped us choose the best bites to eat! We got some cocktails and they were amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Price good, staff amazing and really great food :)

Ah wow this was the first time I've eaten at Cleopatra's Kitchen. We both had the chicken shish, it was a good bowl full, the chicken and chips were well seasoned plus they provided 2 sauces. Totally delicious, would eat here again.

I've been here a few times and I love the range But what makes it even better is for accommodating the staff are! My mum is in a wheelchair and they made sure she had an accessible start and moved things out the way as we got to the table I also sat how the staff interacted with other customers and it was so lovely to see. Always happy to go here

Atmospheric place for a drink and some nice food. Drinks waiting staff could be a little more attentive.

We went for a meal just before the the school run. The atmosphere was lovely, even though it’s outside, it was warm as the had heaters so it’s quite cosy. Great food in particular the cleopatra salad. Service was excellent and very helpful staff especially Georgia.

Taste collective always offer great tasty food and a unique atmosphere having the different traders in the one location. Strip Club Streetfood offer a great choice of tasty smash burgers and sometimes have a special burger on the menu too. The pizza place does lovely fresh pizza which are traditionally cooked, but the star if their menu has to be the dough balls. These dough balls are really tasty and can be ordered with either Nutella or Biscoff drizzled over the top. Cleopatras kitchen is also quite tasty but not our preferred cuisine so can’t comment to much on that. They have a good selection of drinks and most the time the staff are helpful and friendly. Taste Collective also do quiz nights on occasions which are well run and usually based on a decent genre. However, if you want to be there for a quiz night it is highly recommended to book in advance! Only downside really would be the fact that the food is a little overpriced, and if you want a meal and chips and drink for 2 people, you will be paying quite a fair bit, we always compare it to same cost almost as going to Miller and Carter.

Went for lunch about 3 today had good from amore what delicious food it is.Pizxa is amazing and the best we have had,also fried dough balls with marinara sauce. Lovely and warm with heaters and good choice of drinks.

Went into Solihull to do some shopping late Saturday afternoon and decided to pop in for a drink and food. Food was available for takeaway only and bar was closed so went to tap and tandoori which was very nice. Can't understand why the bar was shut.....on a Saturday evening??

A really nice place. It has 3 restaurants inside. We visited Cleopatra’s kitchen and it was really nice. You can choose and order from any 3 restaurants inside at the same time. I dropped 2 stars because the benches were highly uncomfortable. The seat needs to be longer for better thigh support. Legs started to ache after sitting for only 15 minutes.

Cute little food court with 3 or stalls. We ordered from cleopatra the only halal option. We ordered the mixed pharaoh (shawarma) bowls with halloumi and a side of mixed pickles. The portions were very very generous - lots of meat and chips, well seasoned and tasty. The pickles had a nice crunch. Presentation was also good. Will defo be back!!!

Been here lots of times. Love the food and the order at the table using their online service. A great selection of different food styles, wraps burgers, salads, pizza etc... Service is fast and friendly enough. The have a good selection of drinks. No complaints from me at all.

Waited a very long time for our order. The food itself was very good, but we all ended up eating at different times. The music was, frankly, pretty dreadful. Not to mention the pumping out of The Queen is Dead coverage (no serious-minded person is in mourning). I should emphasise that all the staff we spoke to were lovely -- polite and helpful from start to finish. But the waiting times were a huge let down.

Good burgers from Stripland but location and vibe a bit dead. Taste Collective is basically sat in the middle of a shopping precinct. Maybe we went on the wrong night but max 4 people there and no vibe at all. Disappointing as we travelled out. Seemed to be just takeaways being picked up while we sat there anyway.

I went to the melting wheel pasta in Solihull. The fridge and ovens had broken down the day before due to the heatwave, so the shop was closed. I arrived in the afternoon and was surprised to see the shop closed. The owner came and greeted me at the door and explained the situation to me. He then offered to cook me a dish of his famous pasta despite the shop being closed. If that wasn’t enough, he also refused to take payment. The hospitality he showed, the service and the absolutely delicious pasta has made a fan out of me. The pasta was some of the best I have ever had. It did not taste generic, but very authentic and fresh and creamy. If I could rate this man and his business higher I would

Amazing Sri Lankan street food everyone should try the Coco chicken Kottu. Also the sercice was amazing too everyone was warm and welcoming.

Great selection of food and drinks. Our group had burgers and pizzas, which were sooooooo tasty. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great experience. The overhead heaters did a great job of keeping us warm and a cooler evening too.

We came into Solihull on bank holiday Monday mainly for a walk and secondly to grab some lunch. As we walked through Mell Square the smells from The Taste Collective were amazing so it was a no brainer to go for our second visit. Helpful...

Really exciting to have a permanent street food market in Solihull, it’s like Digbeth Dining Club in Birmingham but more enjoyable because it isn’t absolutely rammed and it’s free entry. I do wish the vendors rotated more often as it’s nearly always the same 3 and I know there are so many others in the local area who would be great to try. Also the heaters aren’t strong enough to be sitting outside for long in winter.

Really nice and cosy. Kept us warm and smells incredible in there. I got a mixed meat and fries bowl with halloumi fries from Cleopatras and it was £17 Plus two drink from Taste collective, came to over £25 wouldn't be able to stay there all day.

Excellent evening at the Lord of the Rings quiz! We were a party of four, team name Desert Déagol for the Lord of the Rings quiz. The quiz was well structured, the host was great, the food choice was excellent and the service top notch with friendly staff. The heaters were great and we kept warm despite it snowing outside. We will definitely come again! The quiz was done in good spirits and we were all impressed with everything.
