Lovely staff, very friendly and professional. Food was very good.

Very good food but service is somewhat lacking. I come here for a friends birthday for two years running but every time I have had my food order delayed and had to rechase on both occasions for my food.

Excellent Service , very kind and joyful. More importantly the food is on another level - Very Tasty Oriental Dishes. I reccomend the Singapore Fried rice with Chicken Tai Curry as a sauce

Food fantastic, delivery updates a little slow. Chased delivery at latest delivery time, and restaurant confirmed it was waiting for a delivery driver.

Spare ribs were poor standard. Not at all crispy and tough. If you order a curry be mindful it doesn’t come with rice and even when selecting more info, no mention of rice either way.

Really poor service. 1 hour 30 minutes wait!!! Wont bother with them again.

Very enjoyable lunch for four people. Very friendly and helpful staff, and they went out of their way to make our meal pleasant and enjoyable. Restaurant was nice and clean and bright inside, and it looked like it had been recently decorated. Lovely meal and we will certainly plan to go back again. I've been here on several occasions before for lunch and dinner, and the food and service has always been excellent.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return when we visit Solihull again.

Please ensure your drivers read the delivery details. I ended up wading through a ford and walking for five minutes with my food in the cold due to the driver not reading instructions and coming to the address from the wrong direction.

A fake Chinese food. Sweet and Sour Pork has no meat at all, just fried flour, which is too much. There is an extra charge for lunch, which is £14.9. Lunch only includes one snack and one side dish with rice, and it’s a lot of rubbish.

I had a very pleasant evening at The Jade Wok. We went there to celebrate my grandparents birthday (which the staff also very nicely celebrated with us). The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We have gone many times, and it's amazing every time! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal at Jade Wok. Highlights were the soft shell crab and Cantonese sea bass which we highly recommend. The service was excellent, our waitress was extremely friendly. Excellent local restaurant, highly recommend it!

I recently had a very pleasant evening at Jade Wok! The Chinese food here is truly delicious, with every dish full of authentic flavors. They even offered complimentary prawn crackers when we sat down, which was a lovely touch. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly, making the dining experience even better. Jade Wok is definitely my top recommendation in Solihull, and if you love Chinese food, this is a must-visit place!

the order of beef with bamboo and water chestnuts wasn't what i was expecting at all, very little beef, carrots, cucumber? and Cashew nuts , good job I don't have a nut allergy.

As 2 Couples we ordered set menu D which you would think would give us 12 pancakes so we all get 4 each..No. Ok so we query and are told they come in orders of 10...so you have to buy another 10... obviously we didn't. Food was varied and well prepared but the pancakes left a bad taste. As others reviews drinks are way overpriced...shame as once the what feels like compulsory service charge is added the bill was not a pleasant shock. Won't be rushing back

The best ribs ever ! Service and friendliness was great I had sizzling chicken Cantonese style which was lovely. Not as busy as it used to be back in the day . There isn’t a Chinese restaurant anywhere that you can take your own drinks I think it would be a great idea to have one ! Business would boom !

Horrible smell to the beef, the crispy chicken was just a load of what appeared to be shredded carrots, if I had of sat down inside the Jade Wok for a sit down meal I would have walked straight out. Will never use again

This is a nice Chinese. Had deliveries from here to dorridge three times in the last 6 weeks and it’s decent. Only criticism is the sweet & sour seems a bit too sweet but still tasty and overall very nice. It’s great to have a decent Chinese delivering to Dorridge to be fair.

Food was very disappointing, we ordered the half duck which was served to us very dry. The other two dishes were also dry even after having to replace one dish. Service was terrible. We didn't even have 5 minutes to digest our food before been given the bill and charging us the service charge then straight after we were told there closing and to leave. The staff were bringing out their food to eat which looked more fresh then what ours looked so clearly served us low quality standards. Won't be returning here.

It was my first time to come to the UK and I ordered a set menu for three people, a bowl of mushroom soup and a pot of tea. It tasted good! The portion size was enough, but I didn't have enough idea of ​​the prices here. Three people ate for 98.6 pounds. Is it considered high?

Some of the food was ok but sweet and sour king prawn dish only had 4 prawns

Great food as usual, restaurant standards rather than takeaway standards. The sauce included for the lemon chicken has a proper lemon taste, rather than just being vinegar and sugar.

Food was very nice but the service wasn't very unprofessional and waited far too long go order out food, although people who came in after us got served before us.

Home food delivery appalling. Noodles were burnt, & prawn crackers were stale. They put the phone down on me when tried to complain. Will NOT be using them again.

We went here last night for the first time as we are not local. Service was fantastic, he really made us laugh. The food was very good and the menu has plenty of choice, including the classics. We had special curry, special rice, beef chow mein, chicken and cashew nuts, chips, beers and baileys. All were delicious. Would definitely eat there again and would happily get take out food from here. Would recommend this as a good option for restaurants in the local area. Thank you!

Disappointed with our takeaway last night. Ordered it for delivery and it took 1h 25mins to arrive, the food was cold when it did eventually arrive and some of the order was missing. We normally order for collection and it's amazing, so not sure how it was so different.

We eat out quite a bit and by far this is our new go to Chinese restaurant. We eat here on a weekly basis as the food is excellent. We've never experienced a bad meal here. The staff are lovely and Will accommodate any of your needs regarding your food. The resturant is clean and is at an excellent standard. Highly recommend!

Today (27 Aug) we came and tried the Sunday Buffet. It was £19.9per person plus service charge. Yet there were so many dishes to choose. And I highly recommended the sesame prawn toast as well as the fried mixed vegetables. In total we have tried a total of 15 dishes and they were all prepared on order, you must give a try. We went to celebrate Father's Day today as there was no table available last week. All the dishes were delicious and very Cantonese flavour, we enjoyed the food and service very much. There were around 10 tables and you are recommended to book in advance. The owner mentioned that the menu is a little different between Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday. Maybe we will go there again later to learn about the difference.

Came to Birmingham for a weekend trip and went of this place based on reviews. The food from here had no flavour, genuinely and the rice and Singapore noodles was too oily. Felt ripped off to be honest.

This place used to be amazing for eat in and takeaway. Sadly just ordered close to £80 of takeaway and it was poor. I’m annoyed at the reputation built previously it’s destroying, the quality of the food and now they’ve lost a regular customer. Takeaways rely on word of mouth, good recommendations and of course repeat customers keep coming back because you know what you’re getting. They haven’t worked out that EVERY SINGLE dish prepared and cooked fresh and good portions with quality you can charge a premium and people WILL pay it because they know every single time it’ll be great rather than hit or miss. Jade Wok could be synonymous with the best Chinese takeout for miles around.

This establishment has gone down hill. We have used this restaurant on and off for over 15 years and I will never return. We had to experience all the staff taking a break and eating in the restaurant area to the detrement of our service. When we complained about being ignored we were told that they were entitled to a break. We asked for the bill despite having only having starters from the buffet which was below parr and was charged full price. I run a business within the hospitality area and would never down tools to the detriment of my customers. What a shame because this was a restaurant that I have recommended to people on numerous occasions over the years.
