Louise (1st week back), Katja (sorry if I spelt it incorrectly) were great and a credit to the business!

Nice room, terrible customer service. Was sat down for a pre paid meal, only to be told to come back in 2 hours. 2 hours later told they couldn’t provide a meal. Eventually was fed, begrudgingly!

The location is only a 20 min drive from the NEC which was great. Only thing is fighting the motorway to get too and from! Jade who was on reception a few times throughout our stay was lovely! Very polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were witness to her dealing with difficult customers, she was very polite and understanding and patient despite the fact the customers were rude and obnoxious! The room was clean and lovely staff!

Perfectly acceptable. Fire alarm went off twice disrupting sleep but a decent place to stop over.

Second time we've stayed here. Price was brilliant, staff were very friendly and helpful. Charlotte 'staff member' at breakfast was rushed off her feet, but was also brilliant. Hats off to Charlotte. Don't think I've ever had a bad stay at any premier inn. For what you pay, it's very decent

My room was cold on entering & I found the window had been left open - it took until the morning to get to 18° Breakfast - first day egg undercooked bacon cremated - you couldn't cut it with a knife it was so dried up & the sausags were rawbin the middle. Second day eggs cooked but bacon still cremated. Third morning you could almost cut the back rather than breaking it up. You're told everything is cooked to order .... Possibly eggs certainly not the bacon & sausages. Next time I'll stick to continental breakfast because the cooked most certainly IS NOT worth the money.

Crap. No restaurant. Staff great. Would not recommend unless desperate for a B&B as that all it is.

Conveniently close to Solihull; great since the refurb but it's the staff that make it. Tracy on the Bar leads by example and is ably assisted by her team; Ben, Abby (when she's in) and Billie. Whilst seemingly futher afield the nearby amenities and the friendliness of the staff have lead to over 6 months of stays - thanks team.

Training done as a healthcare professional in a meeting room. Staff was very unhelpful in allowing me to pray. Apparently no rooms were free. Never had such experience before. Always had experiences of every place being very accommodating allowing me to pray for a few minutes (I travel for work)

Ok so the price seemed good for the area, and during our stay we found out why:- Food was only available for breakfast during our stay (which had been the case for weeks before our arrival) parking was 'interesting'. Our "Accessible Room" was 100 paces from reception. The whole place looked to have been recently refurbished, but in a hurry - carpenters pencil markings for drilling door lock screw holes still visible, around a 1/4 of the door locks I looked at were fitted at a slight angle, it was pretty shoddy. As another little shoddy touch - the extractor fan in our wet room (room 26 if maintenance ever read this) was connected to the main/bedroom light switch rather than the one for the wet room, so if we wanted the main room lights on we had to put up with the fan noise!

The restaurant staff were so rude and passive aggressive, asking us to move tables because no one was in the restaurant to seat us when the restaurant was empty. Said I couldn't have a wine on the meal deal when on the menu it says otherwise. Asked for extra chips and got less chips than my partner who had a normal portion. Had a side and I couldn't bite into it because it was over cooked, asked it to be re done and they put this sauce on it that was so hot my eyes were streaming. Then proceed to ask us to leave because "we were rude about the service". Absolutely atrocious.

Saying this without a doubt, but this is by far the best PI we’ve ever stayed in. Just outside of Solihull Town Centre and Dorridge but still accessible by public transport, it’s quiet, like really quiet, you cannot hear the outside and we struggled to hear the rain over the night. It’s been fully refurbished which means the spaces were modern and brand new, and the reception team were amazing. Personally want to thank the bar team including Tracy, all of the management and staff (wish I got the rest of their names) for making this experience such a memorable one, they were polite, friendly and the vibe was just amazing overall! 😄 Only let down was the restaurant was closed for a couple of weeks, We will be back, this is our new place to stay when staying in Solihull.

Disabled room booked in advance. Transpired to be at furthest point from reception. Shambolic is the word. Oh and got a parking ticket 3days after getting home. Not the best.

On arrival I was a little disappointed as the hotel looks slightly tatty and the car park entrance was untidy. (Nothing a lick of paint and tidy up wouldn’t sort out) However, the interior had recently been refurbished. My room was excellent, loved the full size walk in shower (great improvement from over bath shower). The interior decoration was very smart and love the new herringbone pattern carpet. It was also lovely to have breakfast cooked to order, and as always there was plenty of choice. Located just south of Birmingham and about 5-10 minutes drive from the M40/M42 so easy to find.

I am just writing this review to thank Tracy for the great help that she was during our stay in Premier Inn - Hockley Heath. We met her twice out of the 3 nights we were staying. Both times, she was helpful, going the extra mile in printing out alternative directions avoiding the motorway to the NEC, and she was always in good spirits (even though it was past 11pm both times). Tracy was very easy to talk to, and deserves to be recognised for her efforts. Thank you so much.

Very impressed with our stay at this travelodge. Our two boys were welcomed with an activity pack in our room and some snacks which they were so happy about. The reception staff were really helpful and kind. Location easy to find. Only slight downside is that the EV charge point is at the other otherside of the building but this doesn’t really warrant taking a star off the review.

Old style hotel. If that’s your thing great, but could do with a bit of modernising for me. Room was huge! Bath and repeat the shower. No car charging points.
