La comida era buena, pero el servicio al cliente era malo y el tipo que servía era despistado conseguir artículo equivocado en la factura y cobrarnos precio equivocado un minuto era £ 16. 05 luego se quitó los popadoms y entonces eran 14 libras. 05 como es £ 7 : 35 £ 2 . 85 £ 2 . 85 £ 14 . 05 cuando es £ 13. 05 ¿no pueden obtener sus matemáticas correctas y los elementos correctos en las órdenes

Ordenó una entrega a las 18: 24 pm. Llamado jeera al 19: 30 para que me digan que está en camino. Se fue hace 5 minutos. Los llamó de nuevo a las 19: 50 para que le dijeran que el conductor estaba en otra área y sería 10 minutos. Cuando el conductor llegó nos quejamos de que nuestra comida estaría fría. El conductor dijo que está caliente, ya que acabo de verlo cocinado. Tantas mentiras. ¿Cómo puede ser posible? El restaurante nos dijo que se fue a las 19: 25 . No queríamos pagar el precio completo, así que lo devolvió. Muy decepcionado ya que esperó mucho tiempo para nada. No visitará ni ordenará una entrega desde allí de nuevo.

Fantástica casa de curry, hemos probado todas las casas de curry en la zona y sentimos que Jeera es el mejor de lejos! Muy razonable precio también.

Lovely simple place that is unlicensed but allows you to bring your own alcoholic beverages. The place is clean, the service is friendly and jovial, the food is very nice with a wide choice and great value for money. It was first time I ate at the place and would definitely go back there again.

(update - 8th July 2024) ****** Six Stars! I felt that I wanted to make an update review. We've now been using the Jeera for 20 years. It is without doubt our go to restaurant. For me I can still honestly say I have not been to a better restaurant of this type anywhere and when I do I always look forward to going back to the Jeera. Great food, Great staff and a Great time out. --- We visited tonight (Saturday) and although the staff are extremely busy they are professional and friendly at the same time. They will make the odd gesture or have the odd word with you. ALL of which makes you feel at home and in a friendly environment. Love the Jeera.

First time we have visited this little gem.....The food was absolutely delicious and so obviously prepared freshly and cooked to order... Service was extremely good and attentive ,full marks to Abdul who introduced himself and gave us a very warm welcome.We will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit. My chicken tika shaslic bhuna ,boiled rice and chapati was the best ever !!

Food always love and the service is great. We enjoy both eating in and getting takeaway. I love the chicken jaipur, the korai or chicken palok bhuna and my husband enjoys the tandoori mixed saag chilli garlic or ashami chicken.

A trip down memory lane. Food is still excellent with service being calm and efficient. They still do not have a licence for alcohol but you are welcome to take your own which saves a lot on your bill.

Lovely place, atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious. Bring your own alcohol as they aren’t licensed.

Our curry arrived served on plates not in the stainless steel bowl, which had obviously not been freshly cooked and microwaved. The chicken was overcooked and chewy and completely bland. My friend’s chicken tikka masala was bright red which obviously contained loads of food colouring. The garlic naan breads were without garlic. The only thing edible was the rice. If you love a good curry do not go to this restaurant.

We waited to be seated despite being a few minutes late for a booked table, extremely busy understaffed restaurant and takeaway, we asked three times for water, we only actually got anything after asking to pay for our popadoms because we were fed up of waiting, we never leave bad reviews but this was terrible, when the food came, my wife had 6 small pieces of chicken, I had 6 small pieces of lamb so I cannot recommend this except to recommend you don’t bother, very busy so must be doing something right, we live 5 mins walk away but will not be going back . Terrible food but even worse service.

food was cold, boneless chicken had bones in it and forgot half the meal (rice and naan)

I have used the Jeera for a number of years for takeaway items. However on this occasion, I was told to collect at 7:05, but left at 7:40. I am sure they had not started cooking my food. When I got home the two curries ordered seemed watered down with a bland taste for both. Also the poppodums tasted old with no crunch. This was the first time we had used the Jeera in about 3 months and unfortunately it was very disappointing. I guess I might have to try another takeaway.

Went there tonight group of 12 off us. Lovely food. Staff were very helpful & professional. The place was very clean. Would recommend to go there for the food and you can take your own drinks.

Have been coming to the Jeera since it first opened and I will never use another Indian restaurant for either dine in or takeaway. Staff are amazing and so attentive, food is always a very high standard and listen to instructions. 10/10 would recommend.

Have been eating at jeera for many years but feel a new review is due! I always try something different and always delicious (husband orders the same and never unhappy!) Service is always outstanding as is the cleanliness and atmosphere. Always made to feel welcome, no matter how busy very warm and friendly place to eat 😋

Seems to have lost its quality for some reason. Been coming here for years, only for take aways. Has always been consistent, not amazing but you know what your going to get. Staff are friendly but you can tell there are regulars that clearly get priority with their orders which I don't like. Lately the curry's all seem to taste the same and lacking flavour. There is sometimes quite a wait even for collection, you are quoted 20-30 mins on the phone but still have to wait quite a while when you get there ( at times this has been 20+ minutes more). Unfortunately the time has come for me to try one of the many other local curry houses.

Not the best delivery curries, vegetarian Balti was very bland, vegetarian madras was better, sides were a let down samosas a bit soggy, onion bargies a bit hard. Delivery time was good though.

Absolutely love the Jeera. Once again never fail to produce the goods. I particularly enjoyed my Lamb Balti and the naans were amazing 👏 All for a competitive price.

Good value meal but it was cold in there.

We always find the food to be very good, and very tasty. The staff are always friendly as well. It's definitely up there as one of our favourite curry restaurants.

Very bland... Ordered chicken makhani, balti, rice and naan with samosa starter.. .. Naan was the best part of the meal... Both mains lacked any real flavour which is disapointing as I heard good things about this place. Samosas were nice, really flavourful. Over all below average... Wouldnt order again.

Excellent food and great service

Onion mix old and stale. Some sort of yoghurt dip which was watered down. My starter- chick tikka. There litterally was nothing on my plate except for a gobful of fried onions and a bit of salad.. oh and the tiniest bit of chicken.. My main course- chick tikka gatlic balti.. it was just ok.. small portions, tasted and looked like a tin of soup over a bit of chicken.. the garlic rice was nice.... if youre not fussy, then try it. I was gutted that i didnt have the onion baji starter.. you get 4!.. bit to be honest, i wont be going here again.. i love the Kismet up the road

We’ve been loyal customers with jeera for years! Ordered our food tonight and it was revolting 🤮 my chicken tikka masala tasted smoked and the lamb tasted off. Chilli chicken masala was plain.

We had a takeaway on Christmas Day for 4 it was excellent ready to pick up hot food we all enjoyed meal not a slice of turkey in sight lol Jenny and Bill

myself and my husband visit the jeera on a weekly basis and wouldnt go anywhere else the staff are so friendly the food is lovely we have an enjoyable evening everytime we are there i would definatly reccomend thus place to all curry lovers

From speaking to a rude man on the phone when ordering food to having a 2 and a half hour wait for food! Although the food was ok, overall a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone!

Go here often. Staff are very nice and are very polite. Never had a problem. I enjoy the madras curry the most but the masala is also a must try.

Went in at 22:10 for a take away did not have Chicken dish ordered so chose something else ( one them things) to be then told oh we have no chips it’s not like they were about to close they were open till 23:30! Never wasting my time going there again!

I booked this restaurant for a birthday meal and had been recommended to eat here from friends so we were looking forward to trying it out.

Probé este restaurante de comida para llevar hace un año, no me impresionó la comida, era bastante insípida para mi gusto y estaba llena de azúcar. Decidí darles otra oportunidad. Compré un pollo al curry con mantequilla. Al llegar a casa probé la fuente, era extremadamente dulce, demasiado dulce. Cucharé un poco de pollo con la fuente. Al morder el pollo, parece esponjoso. Además de mi mordedura, no se masticó. Lo escupí y examiné el pollo con un cuchillo y un fuerte. Para mi sorpresa, el pollo estaba crudo. He intentado enviar un correo electrónico al restaurante. Pero no he recibido una respuesta. Estaré informando el restaurante a la salud pública.

Just had a takeaway from the jeera the starter was very dry , no fried onions. Curry was very bland , asked for a well done nan but it came burnt . Won’t be using again.

Went to the jeera with some friends, lovely restaurant with lovely food. Staff are very hospitalic and nothing seems to much. Does get very busy so you may want to book. Does not sell alcohol however you can take your own. Also its reasonably priced.

Visited on Monday evening, as it was my birthday. Thankfully my brother had booked a table. We arrived at 6.30pm and it was very busy. The five-course meal at £11.99 is proving very popular. It's their interpretation of five courses, not the same as an english restaurant would define five courses..

This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham!

Lovely meal, really friendly and attentive staff totally ruined by a Chav family arriving and one of the teenage son's swearing non stop. An elderly man on the next table asked him to stop as it was upsetting his wife and was told to F off. The staff did nothing. We would have, but my brother is a policeman and would have risked his job if it had kicked off. We were livid and night completely ruined. We will never go again and I dare say that the elderly couple won't either. If the staff prefer the custom from nasty yobs to normal law abiding families, then they should carry on their policy of letting scum like this sit comfortably in the restaurant whilst everyone else has to leave to escape them. Shame...

Abdul and the boys know how to look after the customers, a huge selection on the menu and cooked to perfection, if it’s not on the menu they will cook it for you. Take your own drinks, you cannot beat the Jeera, best in the area.

I love eating at the Jeera it has the best tasting curry in the area. Staff are friendly and welcoming. No alcohol licence, but you can take your own drinks.

It is byob so obviously some choose to over indulge and it has been quite loud on several occasions. Food is great and the staff are all very attentive and friendly.

Tuvimos una comida agradable oír la última noche. El servicio era un poco loco. . . La comida era trajo por 6 camareros gritando, todos gritando el nombre del plato y, arrojando la comida como si fuera un deporte Olímpico. Quizás porque era ramadán y viniendo a las 9:00 pm? No parece agradable después. La comida era muy buena, aunque no había un montón de carne o arroz, (parecen estar cuando tienes una toma de distancia me dijeron) no son sin duda apresurada salida después de la comida como en otros lugares. Puede traer sus propias bebidas. Solo venden refrescos, donde plana y cálida. Así que nos fuimos al lado y trajo algunos. Sin duda volveré.

£7.95 for this little amount of food and this is ment to be for 2 people food was average and had to wait 40 mins for a takeaway certainly will not be going back to this place and I wouldent recommend to any body to go there !!!!!

Visited many Indian restaurants, live in Manchester so a big fan of the curry mile, thought I had found my favourite curry until I ate here.

We went here with a party of five. 2 of which were regulars here. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food arrived in a timely manner and was very good. Overall a good experience. Will be returning!

15 of us visit once a month. The service is outstanding. Food is excellent always fresh and hot. Never rushed. Staff really friendly and can't do enough for you.

We just love this family friendly restaurant, the food is always very good and the staff can't do enough for you. What we really like is the friendly atmosphere and the buzz from lots of people having a great night out. Its take your own drink so you don't get lots of drunk people coming in when the pubs have kicked them out looking to carry on drinking.

Fuimos a jeera para una comida para Navidad. La comida era deliciosa y el personal era muy acogedor. Incluso tenía mi silla sacada para mí. Que francamente no suceda más. El personal era caballeros. Y la comida era precioso. Yo pedí un pollo tikka y...

Encontramos el curry muy aceitosa. El personal era muy desagradable sólo queríamos una para llevar y actuaron como si no quieres.

Utilizada para este lugar regularmente antes de alejando hace más de 10 años. 12 de nosotros reservamos en el último minuto - no hay problema. El propietario reconoció mi familia y yo y nos hizo todo muy bienvenido. La comida era increíble, y todo el mundo aclararon sus platos sin problemas. No puedo esperar a volver. Gracias!
