Didn't eat here but a nice vibe in here and the patio area is great out back for a quiet drink in the sun (when we get it).

We love this place the staff are amazing the food is great and the atmosphere is great

This is the first time we have been to this pub, and although the pub is great with lots of screens, our experience was ruined by a member of staff. The behaviour of a tall blonde member of staff working in the afternoon on Sunday 25th August was unacceptable. When we arrived I ordered 2 pints of Madri. The above member of staff served me. After pouring a 1/4 of the pint, she muttered 'change the barrell' and walked off. Came back after a few mins and then continued to pour the new barrell into the same glass. This immediately rendered the pint flat. I asked for it to be replaced, no acknowledgement and then poured another. Fine. Then.. I realised the pub were offering a free drink to sign up so I did. Went back to the bar, same girl served me. I ordered two drinks. The code didn't work.. I was told it had been used! This was not possible, it arrived 10 mins before I tried to use it.. but clearly a fault with the system meant the code couldn't use. The way the girl managed this situation was awful accusing me of having used it before. So two wasted drinks. Then.. my partner went up to and in arrogance the same girl poured thr same two drinks again(for us) not realising that her colleague had served!! So another two wasted drinks. She then stormed in the kitchen banged a few things round and disappeared. So as a result of such poor service and the attitude of this one member of staff on 3 occasions was unacceptable and resulted in 5 wasted drinks overall. Finally we were watching the F1 with commentary in just the one section of pub we were in (the rest was showing the football) but then a group of locals obviously requested the sound be switched to the football. Irrespective of us. So didn't feel particularly welcome and won't be returning.

Very pleasantly surprised on walking in here. Huge pub very well decorated with ample seating inside and out. Drinks reasonably priced, food looked good but I didn't have any. Atmosphere is good, music on top plus TVs around showing live sports. Worth a visit if you are nearby. Best pub in solihull.

Working away in Solihull for 4 weeks and popped in a few times, just for a beer (although the food looks banging- will review when I've tried it). Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the beer is on point. Evidently a well managed establishment. Clean & very organised. Calista is an absolute asset! The lady never stops and is always so welcoming and chatty. Only place I'll come for a decent beer in Solihull. Thanks so much to Calista and her team for always being so lovely and making me feel so welcome! 😊

Had a great afternoon here. Sat in the garden, couple of glasses of wine, chilled. Fab. Thanks for quick service. Only negative comment is please sort out your ladies sanitary bins. I told two different members of staff today that there was an issue and nothing was done in the 3 hours we were there. Have some pride!

Extremely good value fixed price lunches. Fish & Chips plus the Gammon is lovely. You won't find better value in Solihull Centre. Staff are excellent, efficient, friendly & courteous. Particular thanks to Annie - always a joy to see you.

Great value place for breakfast or lunch in Solihull town centre. Appetising choices be it full English breakfast or superb fish & chips. Lovely friendly courteous staff. Great value lunchtime menu. Thanks as ever to Annie - always a joy to see you.

Derek- our server- was so friendly, Food was delicious, cooked fresh! Lovely building, very good range of drinks and original food, not the normal pub grub and really good value for money. We will definitely be back!

July 2024 So I have been back to The Mason Arms with friends for a breakfast, to prepare for a day of shopping. Again was served by the amazing Anne, she is so engaging, nothing was too much bother. The food was served in very good time, looked and tasted amazing. I can’t recommend this pub enough. Big thank you to Anne Went for a quick bite to eat today, amazing breakfast, fantastic value and wonderful staff. Served by the joyful Anne. Would highly recommend this little gem of a pub

Excellent service, value for money. No lock on disabled toilet door, it's been two weeks and still not repaired.

Solihull lacks lots of decent pubs. But this one sits near the top of the ranks in tje town centre. Food is decent for the price and what you'd expect from this setting. A good range of beers, entry through to craft. £3.50 offers on Madri and Punk IPA pints (5pm-8pm I think). Always enough staff on the bar so you're never waiting around. Also a brilliant spot for sports because of the amount of screens. Lots of menus which make drinks and food offers visible.

Had a fantastic breakfast very good quality for very reasonable price Anne behind the bar was very helpful and pleasant atmosphere lovely pub.

Bar staff/bouncers should be ashamed of themselves... My pal was just enjoying himself, dancing and having fun. Not causing anyone any harm. What's the point of having a DJ outside when you don't allow people to dance and have a laugh and have fun. Vertically challenged blonde waitress/manager who was more stuck up than a tree branch needs to get off her high horse. Not a single complaint from anyone and almost everyone jumped to my mates defense. Most thought he was actually hired entertainment trying to get people to enjoy themselves and encourage them to dance. Staff need should focus more on removing smack heads than trying to remove people having genuine fun. Absolute scumbags

So we ordered chicken salad to find at £10.50 only to find out the menu was mislead as apparently the chicken is sold separately! This is NOT good and should star this as it certainly wasnt worth the cost for a bit of Lettuce ..also the safety rails on the stairs are all very Dangerous as we watched one woman almost fall as they are in bad need of repair! Will certainly think twice before going there again....17/04/2024

I have been to Masons a few to with my family for drinks and we always have a good time and the staff are very good always polite.

We had some family visiting from overseas, our relative had a pint of Carling lager but took a sip and questioned the taste with us, we all smelt the product and it smelt chemically and not at all like beer. A gentleman behind us advised us to take it back as he had a similar problem earlier. When the drink was politely returned after just one sip the Manager was totally unapologetic and refused to change the product for us, even after it was explained that it could possibly be that the glass may be contaminated with a cleaning product. All she offered was that it “ smells like Carling to me”. I believe she has totally missed the important part of any work that involves hospitality that theCustomer is always right and should be treated with empathy and respect and the product replaced. We will on reflection contact O’Neills as this sort of Customer Service can create reputational damage to their product. We were nothing but polite and don’t blame the venue at all, just the Managements manners and courtesy.

Visited masons for a short stay, but couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable. Had a few coffees, had to stay for happy hour. And called it a night. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. And a special Thankyou to Sean. Who looked after us all night. Will revisit next time we’re in town :)

Visited here for lunch this weekend with my young family. I asked to speak to the chef due to a food allergy and wanted to express my concerns. Charlotte was very understanding and accommodating and we will certainly be back to eat here again, food was great and service was excellent.

Been to The masons a few times, can’t explain how good the deal is during the week £6.95 for a main meal and a drink from 12-5 the food is incredible!! also happy hour on a few selection of drinks from £3.50 from 5-8. The atmosphere is always good, bar staff are so helpful and polite!!

Good food, service and value from the lunch and drinks menu

The atmosphere was nice with the music playing and sport on the tv and the lighting. We all had a lovely time together, the staff were all very welcoming. The prices were reasonable, The food could be improved upon, the peas were hard and gritty and the herbivore burger, i was hoping to be a plant based beef burger type, but it was a fried breaded type. I understand you'd probably have to increase the food prices slightly, but that would still be okay in my opinion. Overall our evening was a good one.
