Staff Lovely, only gripe is they need better chicken for the chicken burger, taste store bought in my opinion.

Food is now only "ok", nothing special for this area & price is more than some others in comparison. Sadly the décor is very tired indeed, it's in desperate need of a refurb to make the overall experience enjoyable!

Had the mezze to start lots of chilli Peppers could have done with less. Think the carrot dip had been out too long as it started to ferment. Main was nice this was the vegetable pasta butternut squash and sage really taste could have done with a little more seasoning and 2mins longer on the pasta. Some crispy sage or a sage butter would go nice with this dish.

Crowded, always busy and noisy, seems to be a meeting place to hang out, Staff are friendly but always feels like there isn't enough on hand

I can’t thank Rich and his team enough for a lovely Christmas Eve meal. The food was amazing thanks to the chefs and the service was fantastic. We are regulars at Morton’s and we have had a few large group meals here and we have never been let down. Could not fault a thing !!!!!!! That is how a place should be run and the atmosphere there is so relaxed. Brilliant place ! My fave xxx Thanks again to all the staff and the chefs too. Katie xxx

As a local to Dicken’s Heath I have always had a good experience and lovely food/coffee’s at Morton’s however recently since a my Niece’s Birthday meal, she and a few members of her party, my Daughter having had an evening meal there with a friend and my Son having breakfast there, all fell extremely ill after, including my 6 year old great niece who actually had to attend hospital with sickness! and all went on separate occasions however all recent. Environment Health have closed the investigation due to lack of evidence and Morton’s have put it down to a virus within the community but I’m sorry it’s too coincidental for this not to be an issue for this establishment! I’m hoping whatever went wrong is put right!

Visited this venue on many occasions and cannot fault the service or food. Excellent ambiance and strongly recommend a visit. Friends and family all love it.

Went on a Sunday for a roast. Was not sure what to expect but the food was really lovely and well worth the money, with the exception of the Yorkshire pudding which was rubbery and tasted floury. I love a good Yorkshire so it was a tad disappointing. Staff friendly and polite. Pudding was a brownie sundae-type thing and it was rich, definitely one to share!

Lovely friendly pub. Great food…especially the chicken shawarma and great selection of cocktails too! Will definitely be coming back.

Visited for live music in November. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Favourite dish is the Chicken Milanese- delicious!

The breakfast here is amazing. Everything on the plate is perfect. We have been a few times for breakfast and always impressed with the quality. The staff working here are so friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is fab too, especially at the moment with Christmas decorations. Will be back soon for breakfast but also going to come in the evening as the menu looks delicious.

I wish I could leave a positive review, but my recent experience has been nothing short of appalling. My friend suffered severe food poisoning after eating here. She was violently ill for days and still struggles to eat. When we reached out to the restaurant, their response was dismissive and unprofessional—they outright denied any responsibility and refused to offer a refund or compensation. While I understand restaurants need to maintain food safety standards, their lack of accountability and empathy was appalling, especially given the severity of the situation. This experience has completely tarnished my view of Morton’s, and I’d strongly caution others against dining here.

On first impressions this is a really lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and lots of menu variety HOWEVER after eating here, I ended up with debilitating food poisoning which is also crazy because I am a vegetarian , I really would not recommend eating here unless you want to be violently ill after

Lovely atmosphere, great service. Food was cooked to perfection but the seasoning was a bit lacking.

You can eat with your family and also grab a beer with your friends watching your favourite match. The staff are polite and always ready to help. Definitely recommend it.

Meal nice but not the best Sunday roast we have had. Service very good.

Did a to go order online, was told 40 mins to collect, I arrive 40 mins later to a mostly empty restaurant to be told I would have to wait 15 mins as they hadn’t started to cook it, took a refund and left

They let dogs in. All the dogs quiet and well behaved. Friendly people and great food and coffee. One star deducted as omelette over spicy for me. Still beautifully cooked.

This place is still great. The staff were polite & friendly and the food:drink were fantastic. We were really impressed ! Thanks to all the staff who looked after us.

An excellent pub with great beer and food. Soon to be taken over by Fullers which also bodes well for the future.

Really enjoyed our drinks snacks and dessert here. Lovely chilled atmosphere, we were not rushed along like some places do. Staff members Alice and Izzy were very polite, friendly and a credit to Mortons. My friend realised one of the dips contained dill which he is not keen on . Alice quickly replaced it with something else . Nothing was too much trouble . Alice showed how customer service should be implemented 😊. Will most defintely visit again . Alice, thank you for your sunny nature , friendly service and most of all, your patience with us. 😬

Great food, great service, awesome brunch menu.

I ate here for the first time for Sunday lunch & I have to say, my meal was really lovely (sea bream with couscous). It's quite pricey but if it's really tasty, then I don't mind. We used to come here for drinks regularly on a Monday night & to be entirely honest, we had very poor experience from quite a number of the staff, pretty rude & bored, unfriendly attitude.....not all, there were two young ladies & 1 young man, who were very good & we told them so, because it was such a refreshing change. However, I have to say, the staff on Sunday were really nice & friendly & attentive (as it should be)..... hopefully this shows a general improvement that may well be reflected on Monday nights now (we don't ever go on a Monday night now though, as we switched venues). So, note to management, keep good service up there as a priority. Your food is really good but without great service, customers don't feel so inclined to come back... keep up the good work 👍🏼😊

Great staff and great tasting food. However, having been twice in the past two weeks the portion size has dramatically reduced compared to the old menu. My two kids were served tomato pasta which varied in portion size even though it was the same meal. Also, the mushroom ravioli was a very small portion for £17+. It’s a great place but Morton’s need to sort out their portions.

Nice looking place, slow service, watched our meals sitting on the pass while the floor staff and chef chatted, chefs eating on the pass, had to send a pizza back because it was undercooked then had a fresh one after everyone else had finished thier meals. Not great at all.

Popped in here for just a cup of tea on Easter Sunday I have been here before on a couple of occasions. Always quite busy but served straight away nice pot of tea thank you! did not eat so cannot comment on that. Very nice place and atmosphere family friendly.

Visited Feb 2022 with family. All enjoyed evening very much. Food, drink, hospitality and company all good. Fairly quiet in pub but quite local - was good to be able to walk to and home again. Have visited many times in the past for breakfast and always pleased with food etc.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mortons today. We ordered two pizzas and both were cooked to perfection. Richard provided us with excellent customer service- so friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Good food and service. Shame about all the dogs and especially the ones sat on the furniture. Won't be visiting again. I don't sit in a dog basket at home and don't feel like paying for the priviledge when i'm out.

Having visited a few times, this is a reliable yet stylish choice for a few drinks and an enjoyable meal. They serve sufficient starters, smaller mains and sides from the Mediterranean inspired menu to make pretty good tapas. Recommended.

I'm sure it's great for most but too many kids for me 🙂 so if you are looking for a kid friendly noisy area then look no further!

Those chairs are disgusting, and tables most of the time with crumbs on it ,not wiped properly. You should really call a professional clean that place . Also dogs are allowed inside and it's really disgusting. It's a place for people to eat not a dog restaurant! The dogs are allowed on the chairs,sofas ,I come with my kids there ,they touch everything and eat after.

USELESS! 1-Mushy peas were dry and tastless.Fish was superb 2- First waitress was fine and friendly.Second was sour and not friendly obviously didn't like her job should seek employment elsewhere. Gave us the dessert menu and failed to say not everything was available. So ordered and 10 minutes later man says they ran out the previous day!!! Meal ruined USELESS Won't be going again and I suggest you don't waste your time either.

Service can be somewhat hit and miss here, especially in the bar area. However, brunch today was good, and the team was on point.

Went for a special occasion celebratory lunch. The restaurant was nicely appointed, clean throughout & the decor was interesting. The staff were professional, friendly & helpful. The food was tasty & the portions good - the only let-down in just one of the meals was a lack of crab meat in the crab linguini (only 6 teensy weeny pieces were found) although the pasta & sauce tasted very nice apparently. Two had pizza & both were more than satisfied, one had the cod, which went down a treat & I had the salmon pasta salad which was delicious! Overall a successful lunch at a nice place. Thank you guys.

Had an amazing time. Lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious. We went for lunch but stayed until closing and the cocktails were the best! Chelsea was a wonderful friendly and helpful host. She looked after us perfectly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Lovely girl. Will definitely be going again

Went here to meet up with friends and family from USA for a 50th birthday. We had a fabulous time and staff, especially Chelsea, couldn't do enough for us. Chelsea even helped us by arranging plates and serviettes for when we cut a cake and was running backwards and forwards with drinks orders she definitely went above and beyond! Would definitely recommend this venue.

Popped in as they are currently offering a fixed price menu and we've dined at the another one in group, the Moat House in Alcester which were very good. We had soup/ ceaser salad starter followed by the Salmon main. All well presented and very tasty. Service was top notch and nice coffee to finish it off!

Great food, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. We went as a group of 6 adults and 6 children which was big ask. We were accommodated and looked after the whole time with the kids being prioritised on food as requested. Would go again

Absolutely disappointed at this Gastro Pub. People sitting eating whilst others are openly getting drunk. Loud, rude and trouble kicked off. The is definitely not somewhere you would want to take a family in the evening. Trouble spilt outside. Horrible atmosphere. Staff more interested in people just spending money on getting drunk. Will never visit again.

I visited Mortons recently for a colleague’s leaving lunch. We were only there an hour, but the preordered meals arrived quickly and were beautifully presented. I had a delicious duck salad. The service was excellent. 

If I had one criticism, it would be the cataclysmically explosive food poisoning that reduced the mean bodyweight of our department by about half.

Booked a table and was then told that they had no Sunday dinner menu and other various dishes off the menu ..the waitress had the most dirtiest trainers on ..looked like she had run a marathon in a bog...still wanted to sell you a drink ...not good.

Visited Sunday for lunch, last minute decision. Plenty of empty tables. We had beef and chicken lunches with roast potatoes, carrot mash, green vegetables. Lunch was delicious and faultless, we had fast service, and the food was piping hot, which is amazing. Will definitely go again. It's a bit more expensive at £19.00 each, but was so worth it. The only thing I'm not too keen on in mortons is the atmosphere, tables are wooden and floors, making it seem less cosy and more canteen, maybe a few booths or something to add to the atmosphere might help.

Went here for lunch on a good recommendation, and was very disappointed. Ordered a Lebanese platter which was awful, the green dip which contained yoghurt tasted off, and the 2 other dips which were pink and purple had been blended so much they resembled melted ice-cream or a smoothie on a small side plate. The only plus side of the meal was the flat bread and normal hummus. Service was incredibly slow where we were not offered any plates or cutlery. Upon informing the waitress about the stale green dip, we were offered a replacement so requested the normal hummus dip.

The waitresss was excellent!! She was very cheery and helpful with our two young children.

We weren’t welcomed in, which was awkward. We sat ourselves down. Before sitting we had to dust off the chairs as they were filthy. Waitress who served us was brilliant and very attentive. We had drinks first, My friends pot of tea was filthy and stained. Food was great and tasty though ( sausage baguette, sautéed mushrooms, Bakewell tart and double chocolate something or other. Environment was also chilled and relaxed. The toilets were very unclean and smelly, they need more attention. It would have been a two rating if it wasn’t for the food and the service which was great. Shame the lack of cleanliness let it down.

Sunday Lunch used to be very good here. Now the Beef though plentiful is tasteless Likewise the Pork dish was tasteless and the crackling inedible You used to feel you were eating from tasty freshly cooked and carved joints. No longer I’m afraid. The Roast Potatoes were even bland and not crisp The shovel full of mixed veg could do with some inspiration and flavour I won’t be rushing back there

Burnt Nachos! Popping in for a few drinks and maybe a bite to eat, thought we’d have some Nachos to start, they were shocking, almost cremated. Had them before but never like this, is it really so hard to do Nachos?

We visit often and normally select a fish dish off the Specials menu which is always good. On Saturday I just fancied a steak instead. The steak came sliced on a bed of mushrooms with green salad and parmesan shavings. It was absolutely delicious similar but better than Tagliata the famous Italian sliced steak dish. This was completely unexpected!!

Invited here for Father’s Day and as sister to The Farm at Monkspath where we have enjoyed many lovely meals including their Gluten Free options. Their GF pizza is one of the best. It turned out to be one of the nicest experiences we’ve had, despite the torrential rainfall that afternoon. The atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. The staff were so helpful when we had our food and despite one of the mains not being available, we had lovely meals including 2 Sunday Roasts which were very generous and 2 children’s meals, again good value and very generous as well as their Pizzas. All the food was hot and plentiful and the service excellent.

Like the look of the place. But food was rubbish. Ordered Chicken wrap looked lovely but definitely microwaved,no flavour bland. Also ordered chicken avocado salad totally over seasoned with a lemony taste. Only thing we could taste. Very disappointed..

Really not good , where do I start inexperienced staff, long wait for food. Given the gluten free menu and my partner ordered vegetable soup as a starter was then told 10 mins later it contained gluten he said he would still have it as it was vegetable , when it came it was full of noodles with virtually no vegetables and tasteless, his fish which was gluten free had soggy batter. I had chicken wings which were average and haddock mac and cheese again hardly any haddock. It is not cheap there, we had long waits for food and the staff did not seem to know what they were doing. Considering Mortons is part of a group and we have had amazing meals at The Boot and the Moat House it was a complete and utter let down from unprofessionalism of staff to the food. We certainly will not be returning

Once again I arrived, sat down and was completely ignored by the waiting staff. One waitress walked by me twice without any inkling that I would like to be served. Eventually I went to the bar. Nobody their either, so I gave up after 25 minutes and went to Costa instead. This isn’t the first time this had happened to me at Morton’s but it will be the last.

Furnishings look like they needed a little revamp, the chair seats are fraying. Menu was a little mis mash as well. Not as nice as it use to be.

So many things not right. A five foot high table offered to us with a two year old and 2 ft high chair (previously informed about when we booked on line). Moved to somewhere more suitable. Long wait for drinks order to be taken. Long wait for food order to be taken. Two meals arrived a good 5-10 minutes before the other four meals. Staff apologetic but something not quite right about the organisation of things. It was a busy Mothers Day and the staff were under some pressure so maybe the restaurant needs to add more staff? Overall an underwhelming experience.

Regular customers at Morton’s, today was very disappointing, service very slow, though not busy, food under par!! Had to send child pizza back, dough under cooked. Won’t be eating there for a while, expensive for underwhelming food & drinks.

Friday morning... decided to come in for breakfast. Chose vegan breakfast as I did not want to eat meat. It was fine apart from the tofu, which was bland bland bland. My first coffee was warm and very strong, I drank it anyway, and 2nd coffee was better, but I kept tasting soap from the cup, maybe so I couldn't finish it. At no time was I asked if everything was OK, which you would expect from table service. It was not that busy. They could tell I wasn't a regular customer, so they could have cared. I decided not to return again.

Your average “village” pub. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar staff are attentive. Seating is a problem when the pub is busy. It is recommended to book over a weekend to guarantee a seat otherwise you will most likely have to stand and wait until one becomes free.

The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The food is well made and always tastes great, especially the pizzas. Highly recommended.

Slow service, and I wasn’t happy with my shakshuka, it was a plate full of tomato pure n in the middle one egg. Basically I was having tomatoes for breakfast 😅

Dreadful service. Unpleasant food. Real shame, such a missed opportunity. Most of this chain have got things so right. Sadly, this was awful.

Had a fantastic meal at Morton’s and the service was great, however as I went to the toilet with a runny nose from a cold, I was greeted by a bouncer who clearly was assuming I was up no good. I had to empty my...

I always choose Mortons when staying in the area, the staff tend to be quite young but always polite and attentive, the food is impeccable and good size portions... 5 stars!
