First visit very good although busy service from start to finish was excellent 👍

Fodd and service is good and what is expected for a pub.

Stopped off on the way from going to a spa near redditch, was happy to find this little gem!!! always driving past it all these years and finally tried it day time mains was exceptional prawns and bartered sea bass for main for £12.29!!

Atmosphere great! Cosy and warm. Food really good.

Went on a Friday night and it was busy but we were found a nice table and had 3 course's for £22.95 , food was great

Great spot for all occasions, family meal, date night or celebrating a birthday/anniversary. Staff are cheerful and the food is great!

Food was excellent and staff very friendly, we did have a little wait due to how busy it was but on the whole I will certainly dine at the Fieldhouse again especially mon - fri when I’m able to make use of my discount with my blue light card.

Had a lovely meal for a group of five of us. Really attentive staff lady, very helpful and could not do enough for us. Our table was in a quiet area as we asked and also catered for gluten allergy. Definitely return.

We were asked to vacate our table in a very unnecessary and rude manner as they had another family waiting. Dreadful customer service. We spent a great deal with them during our stay. Still cannot believe you would ask customers to drink up and leave, rather than would you mind moving to the bar so someone else can have your table .. awful

A very friendly place to meet friends. The staff are always very helpful. The decor has all been updated recently and it is looking smart.

La comida es siempre muy buena y las bebidas razonables. Aprovechamos el 50% de descuento, así que era aún mejor! El personal hace la hora del almuerzo con su cortesía y eficiencia, sin duda visitaremos de nuevo.

A pleasant evening although disappointed that the recent refurbishment does not appear to have made any real difference. The food was reasonable although the vegetables I had looked quite limp as if they had been under the hot lamp too long.

Service was quick, staff were friendly, restaurant clean and tidy. 2 of us had the sea bass and it could have done with a little more side serving

Two couples 50+ went for lunch. Was asked if we'd booked as they were fully booked, we had. Upon not being able to find our reservation, it turns out that we'd booked it for the following day (DOH!). However, they were nice enough to seat us regardless and we all had the 2 or 3 course set menu. They made one small error in the order which they offered to correct. Service was good and we had zero complaints about the quality of the food. With 5 drinks, we paid £83 in total.

Regularly visit and the food is always good, never had a bad meal, staff are amazing, love the music nights

The meals are always very good. The set menu is excellent value for money. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic, no matter how busy they are.

Nice local, nice foodFood menu was varied, vegetarian options are good and reasonably priced. I also liked ordering via the app. My friend was lactose intolerant and there was only one desert option, which was delicious but a wider choice would have been good

Great place, food was fabulous.

Unfortunately my gammon was not cooked. I did report it and was given a desert as a goodwill gesture. But it should be checked it's fully cooked. Spoilt the evening. Everything else was fine.

My regular 'pub night' pub for drinks and sometimes dinner too. Wife went with four friends for a pre-Christmas meal from the seasonal menu and they are still talking about their great evening. Good food and drinks and friendly, efficient service. The best bit was that the bill was barely half what they've paid for similar in a nearby pub/Inn/diner in past years. They'll be back!

The Christmas fayre menu was superb. A good size portion with plenty of vegetables.The Christmas pudding was probably the best I've ever had.

Excellent very busy do a bit noisy

Went for a celebratory birthday lunch but also the start of a 50% off food offer and we stepped up to have steaks which unfortunately weren’t very good quality. Lovely atmosphere as usual following a recently refreshed paintwork and new furniture refurbishment but slow service together with poor steaks makes me hope that it was a one off rather than the norm now. I truly hope so.

Cracking saturday afternoon at the fieldhouse. Excellent food. Service was brilliant. Will definately visit again. Highly recommended. Thankyou to all the staff.

Fabulous Santa breakfast , all the staff did a great job but special mention to Loretta John & Glyn . Well organised. My granddaughter always loves going the Fieldhouse. Always a fab atmosphere well done to you all xx

I went in to see if a table was available, the manager (lady with blonde hair) was so stressed with Santa's breakfast, she was too busy to check and said to check on line. Which I did but no tables, just wanted to see if I could take my disabled child in and eat in pub bit. She said wait 2 minutes, she carried on barking orders at staff the atmosphere was awful, the staff liked petrified. After 5 minutes I gave up waiting for her to check, would rather spend my money elsewhere. So beware they can't handle busy periods! I put a complaint in and basically stated the above and didn't respond about customer service.

Today we had our lucas Christmas 🤶 lunch 24 of us You were extremely busy but the food was fantastic the atmosphere was so lovely And the staff all worked very hard to deliver our food the turkey lunches were tasty hot and great quality First class thanks to all those who prepared cooked served and delivered such great food for so many Well done to you John you have a great team xx My next visit is the 17th looking forward to it already liz and Steve xx Cheers 🍻 to you all merry Christmas 🎄 So fab that this venue is so near me our very happy place THANK YOU all xxx see you soon xx

Went for brunch. Disappointed that there is no gluten free option. We placed our order but then had to chase up our hot drinks order as the staff member had forgotten. Then when the breakfast arrived we we shocked at the portion size. Tiniest pot of beans we have ever seen. Two overcooked eggs, one tiny dried up mushroom. Which looked like the smallest mushroom in the world! And a cold tomato. On the plus side the two slices of bacon and two sausages were nice. We do not like hash browns so asked for them to be left off the plate when placing our order. No extra bacon etc offered as a substitute. The decor was lovely with open fires, however really cold in there. We moved from our table by the window after eating, to a table by the fire. But even then we felt no warmth from the fire. Won't be returning as we found it was not value for money or tasty enough to entice us to go back. We also found the customer interaction and service lacking. I have since had a reply from this establishment blaming me for not checking that there wasn't a gluten free menu. Saying they were confused that I hadn't checked beforehand. Only one person in our group requires a gluten free option. Not all of us. And she managed just fine with her choices. The main issues for us were the tiny portions, the cold temperature, the lack of customer service and the time we waited for our hot drinks. So basically all of the other issues I have mentioned. Not the gluten free options. Just to avoid any confusion.

Incredibly disappointed with what used to be a firm favourite. The renovation seems to consist of a lick of paint and cramming as many tables into a small space as possible leading to very uncomfortable seating. Food quality has slipped. The beef and red wine lasagne used to be full of flavour. It’s now watered down and bland. Chips were undercooked and the children’s burger was cremated (my child spat it out and said it tasted ‘yacky’) Empty bottle of mayo as part of set up on most tables from trying to find one I could use from neighbouring seats. The cutlery smelt of wet dog. I’d have brought all of this to a staff members attention had anyone bothered to come over and check during my visit. Used to be my go to place. Will think twice before visiting again unfortunately.

Excellent service, We had the festive set menu on first day of its service. Lovely food, high standard of presentation and plenty of it. Courses served promptly. Christmas crackers on table as we arrived. Friendly waiting and bar staff. They work so hard to ensure you have a great time. Faultless!

Had a lovely Sunday roast and even though it was really busy we had excellent service. Staff are all really helpful and go above and beyond to give you a great experience. First time visit and will definitely return it was so good!

Refurbishment looks great. It was busy but staff were working hard and atmosphere was good. The Sunday lunch we had was absolutely delicious and puddings for £2.50 as part of set menu was great value.

Staff particularly Kerry were very helpful and did their best to accommodate our needs (disabled) Had a lovely meal which didn’t take as long as had been expected. Enjoyed very much. Not so enjoyable was the radiator next to me belting out heat when not needed. The music blaring out right above us. We did ask if it old be turned down a bit so we could hear each other which it was for a while but then it was turned up again. We were enjoying our meal and chatting and on the next table 2 men came to join two other people at their table and were so rowdy and noisy we could not hear each other. I almost got up to say something too them but didn’t want to be abused. The noise of bar staff throwing empty bottles into container made us cringe e every time.

I love the Fieldhouse! Went to meet the parents for lunch and it’s just a great meeting place..food is always top quality and the beers on tap are always to someone’s liking!

Just had Sunday lunch at the Fieldhouse with visiting relatives. Was perfect from our greeting on arrival to the goodbyes when we left. First time we'd tried the "new" menu and everyone was really happy with what they'd chosen.

Big shout out to Freya. Offering an alternative to a liquor coffee which didn't meet the customer's expectations in a friendly and professional manner. Smiling and friendly as always. The real "lovely pub"

My local for 27 years. Usually visit once a week for drinks & occasionally food. Drinks & food always great. 50% chance of the staff saying hi & how can I help you or what drinks can I get you. The member of staff with the lovely long blonde hair barely acknowledged me today coupled with John the manager taking over when the pump ran out also no hello or sorry for the wait.

I’ve been twice now to the Fieldhouse and both times have been really enjoyable. The staff are friendly and the food has been really nice. I would definitely recommend going there and to get the Ember Inns app for any offers.

Overall it was a really nice looking establishment with friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant was quite busy that afternoon but our order didn’t take that long to be served to us. The food was well presented really tasty and still hot which is a pleasant surprise as most restaurants serve some meals hot and some warm. Great place to eat and drink will defiantly return there.

Booking was easy. On arrival we were shown to our table. Friendly and very good staff. Meals served quickly and hot. Very nice experience.

I'd been here for a Birthday party and the food was good, so I booked to have the Sunday Roast and wasn't disappointed friendly staff servicing great beer and even more delicious food definitely worth a visit.

Went for a meal on Friday 17th May so wasn't sure what to expect as I hadnt been before. Whilst the bar was busy the staff were efficient and courteous, and speedily served the drinks. My friend had pre booked the table, which we were shown to by Glyn explained the mechanics of using the app he was super friendly and clearly good at his job , but my friend wanted to order at the bar. There was a small wait, but the food served was delicious. Would definitely recommend to friends (already have)
