The main menu is vast and exciting. The GF options were poor, and the food was below standard. It's a great cosy venue and would go again with friends.

Great staff, service if a little slow and free parking. Some of the food was good but I had the fish and chips. That was dreadfully undercooked with soggy batter with the chips cooked to death. I left most of it. On the way home felt a bit nauseous. Two others had the veg roast but said the spiced falafel just didn't work with the roast. Overall OK but won't be back.

Pizzas are delicious if only you could then, the base of Italian ham is lovely but I had to scrap the top off as I could not cut through to the base and when I tried to eat a bit of the base I chipped a small bit is a front tooth so it was an expensive meal

Delicious Labanese Board to start and flavourful Crispy Sesame Duck Salad. Lovely atmosphere and staff very helpful, but not rushed.

Booked a table of 10 for a late mother's day meal and a special thanks to the staff for accommodating us as 1 of our party was in a wheelchair. Most of us had the Sunday roast which was good and plentiful with the veg served separately, only negative were the deserts which we thought were overpriced at £9 a head, however serving staff were friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend and will return

Booked online. Received email confirmation that we could have our table until 8.30 pm, but were told at 7.50 pm that they wanted the table back by 8 o’clock, so a lovely meal was ruined because we couldn’t stay for coffee. What a shame!

Restaurant a little disappointing: too noisy for my taste, there is not much choice for vegetarians and even the dessert menu almost only offers frozen desserts

Came for Sunday roast but there was no lamb left,so opted for beef. Saw someone eating the pudding I would have chosen if I wasn't so full. Will order pudding first on my next visit🤣

Ordered lunch, group of 6 having various sandwiches and the fillings on 4/6 were unsatisfactory, cheese and onion baguette only enough cheese to cover half of the bread! Cranberry missing from another and no beetroot on another that had beetroot specified on the menu. Smallest piece of turkey on one. Maybe they have kids working in kitchen as it’s half term but they still need some guidance! Poor standards, would not return.

Very nice place, beautiful inside and out. Food was really good, we had a Sunday lunch around 6pm, very tasty, had to ask for more gravy though 😊 there was 9 of us including a child, was for a birthday. Staff very nice and accommodating. Would go again.

As always we all had excellent meals, there were 8 of us. 5 adults and 3 youngsters. All the food was fantastic, our waitress was lovely and very helpful, a very good afternoon early evening.

Excellent food, would really recommend the Sunday roast. I can’t remember a time I’ve had better service at a restaurant, Millie did an amazing job despite the restaurant being busy. Will definitely be back.

I work next door to Farm. I went for lunch, ordered a cold wrap and 20 minutes later it hadn’t arrived. I asked long it would be, Dan - one of the Managers? Said it was on its way. I waited a little longer, by this time I had to return to work. I asked for a box to put my food in. I said the food took too long, Dan quickly became aggressive. He swore at me- saying “this was sh*t” a colleague of his with blonde hair was with us. I said to her “you heard that” she defended him. I paid and left feeling very shaken up by his reaction. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

We thoroughly enjoyed evening out with friends at the Farm. Service was excellent & we were made to feel really welcome by the staff team. Nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely attentive to our needs, regularly checking in with us and serving the food very efficiently. The meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. Special thanks to Isaac for taking such good care of us and making sure we had the best evening. Would highly recommend.

Pre Christmas family get together on our doorstep and great food. Food was super and great service. Chicken nachos were delicious and I had the cod. We all enjoyed everything.

What a lovely experience this was for our Christmas meal. The food was excellent and the service spot on. As with 7 individuals there were a few combinations of requirements whch were all catered for efficiently and with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We went to another 'Lovely Pub' in the chain last Christmas and I have to say the crackers and hats were a much better quality, (not even a plastic toy in the crackers) and consequently were left behind but this wouldn't deter us from booking our Christmas meal at The Farm next year.

Had a family Boxing Day meal service was excellent couldn’t fault the food atmosphere was very good I hadn’t been to the farm for over 12 months I shall definitely be booking up again soon

Christmas Day!!!!! What a let down……we walked in to the staff having breakfast at 11.45am we were due to eat at 12, it was rather embarrassing….. for them!!! Turkey was dry as a bone, roasties uncooked, there was no cauliflower cheese or Yorkshire puddings it was all very dry!!! We had about 5 minutes between courses….not for me, we won’t do it again!!

Great place, been many times. Good quality food, great atmosphere. Just very disappointing to learn that they had no soap in the men’s toilets. I raised this with the staff, but two hours layer there was still no soap in the men’s toilet. Incredibly disgusting to be in a room of 50+ men knowing that none of them were able to wash their hands.

The staff here are awful. I'm disabled & a male member of staff kicked us off our table saying it was reserved. They hadn't bothered clearing the table of menus so the reserved sign wasn't visible. We said we'd finish our drinks & leave but the member if staff was so aggressive and intimidating he took our half drunk drinks without permission & made us feel like second class citizens. He said we could come back again....really? Unnecessary & avoid at all costs especially if you're disabled on Christmas Eve. Ruined my Christmas Eve ..thanks Shelly Farm

A busy evening for the Farm. Our meal felt very rushed and only a couple of minutes after our coffee was served we were asked to leave the table. We only had a main meal and the coffees so spoilt the evening. Appreciate Christmas is busy but not an enjoyable experience at all.

Comfortable, warm and atmospheric with pleasant and knowledgable staff. Good bar with a great selection of drinks. Food variable (depending on what you order) but on the whole, tasty and well cooked. Can recommend.

Went for dinner and the two of us opted for a flat iron steak with fries and steamed veg.Ths steaks were delicious and so was everything else, honestly, nothing to complain about.Very attentive service and polite staff.There were a few women who were really loud but other than that perfect 👌

Went for lunch yesterday in the 'rear building '. Initial impressions were favorable and seemed a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. We moved to an area where there with proper tables & chairs to eat at. The atmosphere here completely changed to one of eating in a company dining hall. Maybe different on an evening. I'm not sure I would return 😕

Just popped in for a quick bite had the pea fritters and pizza omg how tasty was blown away I totally recommend a stop here. Good customer service food arrived quickly.

We had a fabulous meal last night. We shared the nachos with pulled pork, chicken wings with hot sauce and the croquettes. I chose the grilled cod which was delicious. Everything perfect but the wine by the glass needs to be chilled.

Four of us dined at The Farm Inn on Friday evening booking an outside table. The service and atmosphere was brilliant. I am a local and have visited many times over the years. On this occasion the food was good in general however the portion/pricing on the pea & courgette fritters is nonsensical! It costs £15.95 as a main or £8.95 as a starter. For our starters since we were pretty hungry, we ordered it as a main alongside a main portion of the aubergine and tofu bao buns and the poke bowl. When the food arrived we were perplexed. There were four of the aubergine and tofu bao buns, which is what I would expect for a main. However there were only three for the fritters, and the fritters themselves are small in size. I asked our server if the order was correct, as it looked more of a starter than a main. The server advised that she did place the order as a main but would check with the kitchen staff. She soon returned to advise that the starter portion has two fritters and the main has three. I gave a puzzled look as the maths makes no sense. If you ordered it as a starter it then means it is £4.48 per fritter (£8.95/2) but ordering it as a main would be £5.32 per fritter (£15.95/3). The aubergine and tofu bao buns are exactly the same price and four arrived as a main which makes sense when two would come as a starter. We later ordered as mains the mushroom and aubergine pizzas which were tasty and the gnocchi, which was way too doughy but the flavours were interesting....When the bill arrived I brought up the portion/pricing issue with the fritters to the server and added I am disappointed to be paying this part of the bill when I am not happy about it all. She said she would give feedback and said it was completely understandable. I would generally feel inclined to speak to the manager however since my father was with me and suffers from severe anxiety I knew that by doing so would completely ruin the evening. Overall it meant that an evening which otherwise would have been enjoyable since our server was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and in general the food was good, meant we left feeling unnecessarily ripped off! :-(

Amazing was a hot day, so we sat in no air con, so it was quite hot in there. If hot, I advise bringing a fan, but other than that, it was lovely

Popped in for a midweek meal and as the weather was nice decided to sit on their new decking area. Service was swift and very friendly, and the food fantastic. Their new decking area is a great addition for summer time, and the new marquee which was all set up looks amazing too. They even had a water station set up, perfect for a hot day! Will definitely return.

Overall I can say that my service at the farm was nothing short of horrendous. Couldn’t recommend this any less. Firstly, the hygiene is appalling- saw chefs holding cigarette packets while making pizzas and displayed no signs of washing hands. after giving this the benefit of the doubt we ordered our food with a woman manager called Rachel. After withholding an impatient manner as we briefly discussed our order, she had a disguising attitude, no manners and overall she was not suitable for the hospitality industry. After we were hurried to place our order, this manager barked at some of the younger waitresses (no older than 18!) and spoke in an aggressive tone. This lead to evident distress throughout the whole team leaving a uncomfortable environment. The food came and did not reflect the high price- very bland chewy and clearly not fresh. my family left not only feeling unsatisfied but very angry as it was a special, expensive occasion ruined. I will definitely not be returning and will be telling others not to either. Sort it!

Good sized pub with an old farmhouse and modern building for indoor seating and substantial outdoor options. Menu mix from excellent pizzas and familiar favourites to daily specials. A good number of staff on duty with all of them clearly working hard throughout the evening delivering quick friendly service

Had a very enjoyable Saturday here celebrating a special occasion with family and friends and can’t praise the staff highly enough for organising the buffet which was excellent. We were in the side bar which has access to outside for the little ones to run around and near the bar/toilets. There is a new marquee which looked very nice but we weren’t sure if the weather would be typical UK and unpredictable. We enjoyed a variety of hot food and their fabulous pizzas, particularly the gluten free ones which are excellent and the best around. Would like to thank Charlie and her team/colleagues for their help with the organisation and the bar staff in particular were worked hard on the day, always friendly with a smile. A good time was had by all on a sunny afternoon.

Getting a good gluten-free pizza is a near impossibility (especially in Italy!) The Farm seems to have nailed it. Their gluten-free pizzas, though not quite as good as the normal pizzas, are still great. Shame that they have discontinued the buy one pizza, get the second half price....but we will still continue going!

Our son took us here for lunch when we came up for a visit. What a lovely find, food was amazing portions large took half my pizza home, no room to sample the desserts - maybe next time

Ordered the crispy duck salad and flat iron chicken. Portion of duck was very small, but other than that a tasty well balanced salad starter. Chicken skin was crispy, but burnt (like the chargrill was too hot or left on too long) and the chicken meat itself was very dry. Fries were ok. Pricing would be right for good pub food, however the quality of the meal did not reflect this.

Didn’t mention disappointment to server because she didn’t come by after serving to ask if everything was ok. Thinking in hindsight, they might have been short staffed and everyone was just miserable that evening. On our previous recent visit here, all was 5*. It was so recent that I hadn’t reviewed yet. Not to their favour, we felt let down so rating has dropped. Photos from disappointed time, the veg was over cooked/old. Neatly hidden under the fish in the photo. The veg burger fell to bits …once touched/picked up to eat. Had to use a spoon. Awful. Kitchen definitely dished out some below standard food on this occasion. Tisk tisk. Anyway ate and paid. Won’t return now for maybe ever.

The service here was brilliant, very attentive and helpful staff. Comfortable area to sit with the family and dogs. Food came out quick and the nachos were fab, the pizzas went down well also. I had the gnocchi, it was over peppered and at first I thought it was maybe meant to be like that until my sister who is a chef tried it and said it definitely should not be like that. I couldn't finish the meal and they happily took this off.our bill. The tuna was perfect!, Would definitely recommend this place.

Terrible pub! still charge more than they should do (based on supply and demand……. There’s no demand is my point 👍) and really shouldn’t be happy having customers who’ll try start a fight because they’re Worthless people trying to get a cigarette they can’t afford, and someone they asked said “no” 😂 all round worst pub I’ve been to in at least two years 👍

Lovely restaurant. I went to the Farm last night for a reunion with some family members and we all had a lovely time. Very friendly and helpful staff welcomed us and food was served quickly. Delicious pizzas offered (the Italian ham being a particular highlight) and lovely atmosphere. Thanks so much. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to go for a drink. Friendly staff. They do have vegan cheese for pizza and gluten free bases however some other restaurants do far better gluten free pizzas and for a cheaper price.

Food quality was good. There is not much choice on the menu like before pandemic. It's still a good place to go for meal.

Lovely catch up for lunch 😋 I've never been here before but I've been past a thousand times!! Tucked away up past the co-op in the corner by the school. Beautiful inside and out, the pub and restaurant have lots of indoor and outdoor seating in all nooks and crannies. You'll find a modern eclectic decor with a friendly atmosphere and great service. The food was delivered quickly, hot and very tasty. There's even a proper pizza oven for fabulous pizza 🍕 😋 I'll be back for that! 👏👌

We have been coming here since it opened and this was the best food I’ve ever had here. It’s always good but we both felt this was a notch up. I recommend the Poke bowl which was so delicious. It was a big portion as starter. Mains excellent. I had cod tempura from the specials menu. Staff all lovely as ever.

Has been an excellent gastro pub in the past, but very standard stuff now. Good pizza, some good pub fare if you choose wisely and some reasonable specials occasionally. Service is occasionally good. Nice looking place, but probably needs a better chef and some better quality ingredients to be even good again.

Double pepperoni pizza with 7 slices of tasteless pepperoni. They’ve skimped on this for a while now - it used to have two types of pepperoni on it and plentiful.

Sadly, the salad bar has gone, but great service and nice food.

We probably go a couple of times a year and have always had good service. However last bank holiday we joined another couple for the advertised “2-4-1 Cocktails Everyday” which was on display on the menu on every table in the pub. However when I paid the cocktails were full price. I pointed out the obvious error to the staff and they said “not on a bank holiday”. To which my response was “where does that say that, and if so why are these menu still on the table?” Their response was that they simply didn’t care and that was the only menu they had for cocktails!! A senior bar staff member came over and just shrugged. I had already paid and so had no options. I left and won’t be returning.

I went there tonight with my boyfriend- the booking was under Scott (6/6:15pm as we called to say we were running late) and this is my first time leaving a review but I had to, as I wanted to say the service was amazing- no rush to leave and felt so welcome. There was 2 girls who went above and beyond and I wish I took their names! Shame as I thought my boyfriend could tip on the bank payment as we had no cash but I’ll 100% return because of them and recommend to my friends :) food also lovely and decent price and have specials on!

We visited this pub for a birthday dinner during the week and we were surprised at how busy it was mid-week. We thought this was a sign that it was a good pub. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food was nice also. The only thing I would say, is that the pub itself is a little out of the way and difficult to find. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this place.

A bit of a townie pub I thought also felt the staff could have been a little more welcoming. I wrote a review of its sister pub The Boot this week and it was amazing, sadly I felt this did not match it. The menu was very ordinary and I found it difficult to choose, The starters were probably the best part we had chicken wings and crispy duck salad followed for mains by fish and chips for my partner and half a chicken for me nicely presented but only glorified pub grub really with prices much higher. There was nothing one could complain about but also nothing one could praise either.
