Very good Sunday roast & decent enough service

Went for a family dinner for 12 so was a big table. Food all came out together which was impressive and was great. Only complaint was that the place was a bit cold.

Food and service was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed our family Sunday Roast. Also our dog was made very welcome.

Pizza this time and it was stone baked perfection 👌

More upmarket pub with a variety of dishes and drinks so pricer than your average pub, but worth it.

El almuerzo del domingo siempre es bueno en un pub encantador, servicio rápido y buenos tamaños de porciones. La alarma de incendios sonó dos veces mientras estábamos cenando, no estaba un poco claro qué estaba pasando realmente. Ningún miembro del personal parecía preocupado y nadie anunció si se trataba de una falsa alarma o algo así. Era bastante extraño que el personal pareciera ignorarlo, congregarse en la cocina y luego dispersarse como si nada hubiera pasado.

Been here a few times and the pub/restaurant areas area great. Superb atmosphere and a nicely done building. We went for Christmas lunch so was a special occasion. The service was superb. The meal itself was mediocre. At £100 per head (£55 for children) I would have expected better. Value for money for sheer volume was great, but I'd have rather had better quality over quantity. My beef dinner was overcooked, veggies was ok, roast potatoes were poor. Puddings were delicious. Cheese selection, it is Christmas after all, was rubbish, far too much for the 9 people (inc 3 children) two huge plates worth, flavourless and dull, and accompanied by about 2 crackers per head. I really like the idea of Christmas lunch out, and would definitely do it again, however I could have done a better roast with trimmings at home.

Large family meal (14 of us plus 5 dogs) for Boxing Day. Had the outside marquee to ourselves. Preordered the courses, everything went smoothly and staff very helpful.

Made us most welcome and dog friendly.

El restaurante era muy acogedor y cálido, el servicio era amable y eficiente, Prosecco era encantador, pero a £ 35 la botella un poco caro, así que solo teníamos una botella! Sin duda volvería a reservar allí Gracias.

Tuvimos una gran noche para 17 amigos en la granja el sábado con su menú festivo. La comida era excelente, abundante y con un gran servicio a la altura. Reservamos con 6 meses de antelación y reservamos la zona de entresuelo que era ideal para una experiencia gastronómica privada, pero con un ambiente de pub y DJ para establecer un ambiente festivo encantador. Gran valor también. Gracias a todo el personal de la granja por hacer de ella una ocasión memorable xx Al & J xx

We had our staff Christmas Do here . Isac made the booking easy . The staff was accommodating and flexible. The food was on point as was the service . Fantastic atmosphere. Thank you all .

We had a party of 8 and a private dining area which still shared the wonderful atmosphere coming from the rest of the restaurant. The menu offered a great choice and when served, the food was amazing. Thank you to the staff who were very polite and attentive and made our time relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. I cannot wait to come back.

I like it here. The food is great, and the outdoor seating area is perfect on a warm, sunny day. Indoor seating for a casual tipple with friends or family is limited. The restaurant bar is dedicated to the food area and can be a wait. The main bar can get busy and has limited bar staff. There are stools at the bar, and when customers sit here, fewer customers can wait to be served. This is not a pleasant experience for me. Expect a long wait and limited indoor seating. It's still a nice establishment.

Thank you to the team and Steve for organising my Dad’s 60th birthday celebration. Steve was very attentive from start to finish: helping us dress the room with decorations, addressing my allergies, keeping the flow of drinks, and helping us box up spare food at the end. The food got a chef’s kiss from everyone - best pizzas in Solihull! If you’re looking to organise a function, the Farm Inn should be top of your list.

One of the more upmarket pubs in the area, great decor and the food is always good here, loads of options for seating in the main area, and also has a old school pub separate to the larger section. Prices are a bit on the steep side but a great pint 👍

We had an absolutely lovely Sunday lunch here! At short notice (only 1 day before) we asked to increase the table booking from 5 people to 10 people and they went that extra mile to get us all booked in! The food was delicious, the service was great and the restaurant was lovely and inviting - we can’t wait to visit again soon! Thanks so much 😊!

This place was recommended by friends and I was not disappointed. Very well furnished internally and externally. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere throughout. Really good menu, treated myself to a Guinness zero and was given the option to pour myself. Very impressed all round. Highly recommended for food or drinks.

Difficult to put the right stars on this, food, service, atmosphere were all 5 star. However!!! I work for Nat geo and so I’m incredibly aware of food sources and I try to educate as much as I can. I approached the “head waitress” to ask if the head chef was working and she said yes. I asked if I was able to have 2 mins with him regarding an item on their menu. She told me he wasn’t available…. Without even checking! I explained I’d like to educate him on Faroe Island Salmon which was on the menu. Sourcing where the food you are serving should be incredibly important. I was explicitly told the chef is aware of his choices. If you google farrow island dolphins to would see how barbaric this island is towards the ocean and every conscious decision to not support them should be made.

They have multiple rooms, the main restaurant is quite limited, and bookings are highly recommended it. There is plenty of parking across the street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Foodwise, this is a pub, not a fancy restaurant. Some dishes are ok, some dishes are good. The pizza was quite interesting and I recommend you try it. The burger was quite dry, the meat was a bit burned and dry, having a bit of burnt bitter taste, but overall ok. I recommend you to tell them to be careful not to burn it. Beautiful design, nice atmosphere. I recommend it.

Family Gathering for an 18th Birthday. The marquee was perfect for the size of the party. Staff were brilliant and didn't hear any complaints regarding the food.

Celebrated my 70th Birthday at The Farm today.We were a large group of 16 from all over the country but the service and food was exemplary I would certainly recommend this venue for family events.It was refreshing to see no service charge or additions to the bill.A shout out to all our waiting staff today who were great!The Farm definitely warrents its alround 5 star review!

Mid week dinner for 6. Service good but couldn't prepare a dish without chilli which was very disappointing

Lovely meal here this evening - fish and chips were most excellent and service spot on.

Nice place. First we sat in the bar area in the other building. It was cosy and quiet there. We then went to the restaurant building and grabbed a lovely lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful.

First time visit with family for a 40th Birthday celebration.very impressed with the food I had sea bass delicious and plentiful staff very attentive especially a young lady who was from Australia didn't get her name nothing was too much trouble will definitely be visiting again .

We really like this place, especially as we can take the dog. A place of two halves, the barn and the pub. Plus a copious amount of outdoor seating. Both buildings serve food and the menu is more or less the same in each. We liked the barn, it seemed to have a more up market, wine bar vibe. There's also a restaurant area in there which is out of bounds to the pooch. We shared a pizza and which was good but I thought it was a bit lacking in the amount of toppings. More so given the price. A good choice of drinks and very friendly attentive staff made for a very pleasant visit.

Meet up with some friends pizza was delicious and so was the Prosecco, the music was far too loud for a restaurant, asked for it to be turned down a bit but it wasn’t, very difficult to talk over with a group of friends, staff were pleasant and efficient, however at the risk of sounding ‘old’ , the bar/restaurant was very busy with a loud, younger crowd and all the staff are young so maybe it’s what they like!? Maybe give a busy Friday a miss if you just want a chatty catch up

Beautiful place, amazing food and brilliant friendly staff

Visited on Sunday and although the surroundings were very pleasant the experience was not so pleasant. The service was pleasant once we were sat at the table, but we had to wait some time to be taken to the table. We ordered the food in an appropriate time but the food did seem to take to arrive and the Two Sunday lunches were not very warm and the fish and chips were greasy. We were not asked if the meal was ok until it was too late so was not worth saying anything.

Lovely friendly pub situated in Monkspath Solihull. Attended a family event held at The Farm which offered a variety of food from their set menu. Staff laid out the food which looked stunning with assortment of pizzas, squid, mushroom sliders in cute little buns, chicken skewers, frittatas, mixed salads, dips all absolutely 💯 very relaxed & lovely afternoon celebrating 🥳

A disappointing luncheon here today. Slow service of drinks and slower of main courses. Duck salads of more fat than duck and not crispy enough. Our Dirty fries were stuck together under a measly amount of chilli, cheese, and just 3 small slices of habenero. Not anyway good enough for £35 with 2 soda drinks.

I really like this place, it is so well run, the staff are very friendly and efficient, lovely clean outdoor area. Literally the only thing I would like to see is hooks in the toilets, no one wants to put their handbag on the floor.

Sunday roast was very good! Haven’t been for ages and it was much better than I remember

The restaurant is good and the food very good but a local community hall on the other side of the car park has been turned into a mosque with a prayer session at lunchtime so there was nowhere to park! Even my disabled sister that I was meeting had to park a long way away. They had parked on verges, double yellow lines and anywhere a car could be squeezed into so it was quite stressful. For that reason, I would have to advise against a lunchtime meet up there unless you live walking distance away. Also, check the mosque website for prayer times (5 times daily) before booking.

Visited on a quiet Sunday evening with friends and were treated to fab food and attentive service. The team were really lovely and the menu made it really hard to choose just one meal!

I rarely write reviews when I go to restaurants but this time the experience was so excellent I highly recommend The Farm and I’ll tell you why. We arrived at The Farm as a family of 3 for Sunday lunch booking for the 1st time. My 6 year old son who is a beautiful confident child who has Autism. And anyone who has experience with autistic children will know or have experience of their challenges in dealing with new public places. My son is no different to others with autism and on this occasion was particularly challenging which made us as parents feel conscience almost immediately. Never the less the staff were wonderful and clam and accommodated us straight away after seating us in a lovely spot overlooking the garden. However as time went on we could see our son become more and more dis-regulated which was drawing attention to us to a point we thought about leaving the restaurant. I must say all the way through this time the staff were calm and attentive. At a particular point 1 diner 3 rows of table way approached our table to complain of the noise directly to us while claiming to represent all the diners in the restaurant. He even addressed my son directly in an angry tone, which drew even more attention to us making us want to move or leave the restaurant. In response and to accommodate this 1 diner”s complaint I tried to forcibly remove our son from the dining area. At this point the staff and the management intervened to settle us back in our seats to allow me to calm our son down while feeling even more conscience of the attention this episode on our son and us. Meanwhile the manager had offered the diner an alternative table of his choice and he accepted which allowed everything settle down. When the manager returned to our table to check on us she sincerely apologised on behalf of the restaurant for our experience and stated the diner should not have approached and embarrassed liked that and we had every right to continue having our lunch where we were. The restaurant staff and management made us feel so welcome. We decided due to the trauma and still feeling embarrassed, to ask for our main courses as Takeway. The manager was again so apologetic of our dining experience she didn’t even charge us for any of the bill. When we got home we managed enjoy our wonderful Sunday lunch. I highly recommend the lamb! Thankfully the story doesn’t end there. My wife and I decided to return to the restaurant for lunch today out of gratitude to the way we were treated by the staff and management. The experience and food was wonderful! I recommend the Wood Fired 1/2 British Chicken and the Cherry Bakewell for desert! The way we were treated by the staff and managed really restored our faith in people and businesses and made us feel we have every right to be there just like any other (normal) family.

This is one of the best restaurants near me in Solihull. Immediately you are greeted with a warm welcome followed by attentive service. The food is outstanding, particularly their wood fired pizzas. Try their baked cookie dough if you want an indulgent dessert. One of our favourite places to eat

Nice restaurant close so all the Solihull amenities. Tucked away, it's got a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Pizzas looked superb!

Me and my friends went to mcdonald’s for food prior to going to the farm. We chose a seat outside and left our belongings and leftover mcodnalds bag on the table. We then went inside to order our round of drinks. However once we went back outside we found a male member of staff searching through our bag. Once confronted he told us we couldn’t eat outside food here which we weren’t. We explained it was food to take home and he acted extremely rude. We offered to let him take the bag until we leave but he just ignored us and walked off in a strop. If you like your stuff being searched without content you’ll love the farm 🥰

Had a pint and 2 glasses of wine (large) Very nice a little expensive. First visit wouldn't put me off going again Sat in the garden the food looks nice 😋. Probably have a meal next time and just pay for a bottle of wine.

Food was cooked and presented to perfection. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice relaxed atmosphere and also lovely outdoor seating to eat.

Great pub, popular all year round. Great variety of menu with excellent choice of dishes. Ate here a few times. Super beer garden, just perfect to chill. Split across two buildings, one is a main restaurant and bar with another more a traditional pub. Large surgery car park opposite so no issue with parking. Veg platter for starters was great selection. Everything we had was good.

I felt we were just shoved in a corner even though I had booked

Great staff, service if a little slow and free parking. Some of the food was good but I had the fish and chips. That was dreadfully undercooked with soggy batter with the chips cooked to death. I left most of it. On the way home felt a bit nauseous. Two others had the veg roast but said the spiced falafel just didn't work with the roast. Overall OK but won't be back.

Pizzas are delicious if only you could then, the base of Italian ham is lovely but I had to scrap the top off as I could not cut through to the base and when I tried to eat a bit of the base I chipped a small bit is a front tooth so it was an expensive meal

Delicious Labanese Board to start and flavourful Crispy Sesame Duck Salad. Lovely atmosphere and staff very helpful, but not rushed.

Booked a table of 10 for a late mother's day meal and a special thanks to the staff for accommodating us as 1 of our party was in a wheelchair. Most of us had the Sunday roast which was good and plentiful with the veg served separately, only negative were the deserts which we thought were overpriced at £9 a head, however serving staff were friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend and will return

Booked online. Received email confirmation that we could have our table until 8.30 pm, but were told at 7.50 pm that they wanted the table back by 8 o’clock, so a lovely meal was ruined because we couldn’t stay for coffee. What a shame!

Restaurant a little disappointing: too noisy for my taste, there is not much choice for vegetarians and even the dessert menu almost only offers frozen desserts

Ordered lunch, group of 6 having various sandwiches and the fillings on 4/6 were unsatisfactory, cheese and onion baguette only enough cheese to cover half of the bread! Cranberry missing from another and no beetroot on another that had beetroot specified on the menu. Smallest piece of turkey on one. Maybe they have kids working in kitchen as it’s half term but they still need some guidance! Poor standards, would not return.

Very nice place, beautiful inside and out. Food was really good, we had a Sunday lunch around 6pm, very tasty, had to ask for more gravy though 😊 there was 9 of us including a child, was for a birthday. Staff very nice and accommodating. Would go again.
