The best restaurants in Abbey Sandwell West Midlands

This restaurant used to be one of my favourite places to eat haven’t been for a while so not sure if there is new owners or a new chef now? Spent over £30 tonight complete waste of money and if I lived nearer the restaurant I would have returned the food. I ordered the Haweli special grill paid the extra for prawns and only received one. The pilau mushroom rice was tasteless and very watery it was also made with canned mushrooms 🤢. The grill itself was all over powered with spice and mushy. The salad was old started to turn brown. The only decent food to eat was the peshwari Naan. Sorry to say but very disappointing and waste of money. Won’t be reordering anytime soon.

Had rump cap steak with 2 sides, very nice moist steak and big portions .out of the Sides black beans fantastic , nice friendly place and great if u fancy something different and authentic, we will be back .

Excellent food, served hot and swiftly Beautiful and airy place to sit and relax

The staff are rude, they talk on the phone while serving, they overcharge, and they don’t provide a receipt

Waiting for an hour since 4 which was their opening times there was no reason or holiday for them to be closed and are ready to open but aren’t open at all. DO BETTER!

Ordered cauliflower wings and got chicken ! Incompetent.

The older lady was not very welcoming or friendly to myself or my grandson. The young lady was helpful and responsive to me when I said thank you. Also there is a little toilet but I wouldn’t say it’s appropriate to wash your hands after painting. I personally won’t be going back to this place because of my semi frosty reception. It cost nothing to smile!!

Never lets me down, if you want a quality and speed this is the place to go 100%.

Pretty poor, just close by. Had food from there during lockdown as a convenience and was okay at best. Decided to give it a second chance recently and just a joke. Tried to rip me off on both occasions for a pathetic amount of food and overcharged. No customer service or care really

Great pub this! Every other Friday they have a multi instrumentalist/singer who goes by the name of 10 Guitars (check him out on spotify/youtube, he's bloody brilliant!) who performs cover songs from a wide range of genres and decades whilst switching between different instruments and on Saturdays the same guy hosts a very entertaining karaoke night! Beer is great and doesnt break the bank either!!!

Mixed dim sum is a great value starter. Prawn toast was thick and hot and not overcooked like other places 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Mini spring rolls packed with meat and veg. Double happy is always a favourite, duck really tasty and perfectly cooked.

Delivery time was quick and not to mention the pizza was superb!
