The chicken for the mixed meat donor kebab was off putting. The quality was poor. Other than that the rest was ok

These are the best chippy locally! The portion sizes are massive, foods always 10/10 and delicious! Orders come quick and the dog loves her sausages from there! Highly recommend to everyone

We had food for 15 this evening everyone of us enjoyed it very much every item was cooked to perfection 11 fish 3 roe and chips absolutely fantastic. Staff are great .

Nowhere near enough kebab meat naan wrapped round twice - wouldn’t even fill a pita

Ordered food at 19:40 didn’t receive till 21:32, no communication about order being late, food calm just warm at the most not piping hot, and the fish batter was soggy at best, the chicken meat is bland with hardly any flavour. If the food was at an excellent we would have been able to forgive. This was the first time we ordered here and it will also be the last as the service is unacceptable in our eyes.

Another fantastic group of meals everything hot and very tasty 7 very happy people my haddock was fantastic looking forward to next week .

I don't know where to start. Very disappointed and shocked with their service. First thing is if the meat is halal then please tell me the true stop lying to your customers. Some yes prefer halal and it's the cheaper option from suppliers. But as a Sikh if I eat meat I don't want it to be halal as we are against halal meat as they have no compassion the way it's been slaughtered. Please don't tell lies I will be contacting the food chains higher up. When we ring in we ask sometimes your halal sometimes your not halal make up your mind and shame on the singh who owns the shop has full sikh beard. Why does everyone do halal ? Why ain't there british meat option available for sikhs that eats meat is it because it's too expensive? So you guys go for cheap and wrong option. Won't be coming back plus letting everyone know

Probably one of the best kebab and chips I've had in a long time. The battered chips were delicious. Very nice kebab and naan, and also followed instructions in comments. Food came very hot and well packaged. Really don't mind spending hard earned cash for a quality product. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered 3 weeks ago and it took 2hr 7 min to arrive, gave it another go today and took 2 hrs 1 min to arrive!! Shame as the food is good but the service is by far the absolute worst possible. They clearly cannot handle mid week orders as waiting this long once again is absolutely atrocious

Technically order was on time but the estimated delivery time kept changing to a later time. Ordered curry sauce they sent mushy peas. Ordered vimto they sent pepsi.

I ordered kebab chips with salad and no sauce but there was no salad. Disappointing

Waited all week to be able to order gluten free food from here. Finally ring them on the day it starts ready to send my deliveroo order and the man says they don't do gluten free food. I need to ring Mario's Catch. I check them online, already wary now. Mario's Catch website says their gluten free menu is entirely unavailable... I don't know how these businesses are connected but as someone with an autoimmune disorder, I can't trust companies that state they do gluten free online then on the phone deny it. I don't want to switch to new companies unexpectedly and if they're not available on that store I don't even know why I was redirected.

Food was 5 star as always but delivery time was absolutely atrocious and I would give less than 1 star if possible. My order was accepted at 17.46 and my food finally arrived at my door at 19.53!! I like this place but that is easily the longest I have ever had to wait

the 2 pieces of cod didn't have chips with them. The fee 2L bottle of vumto didn't arrive and worryingly is not included on the order as this item was said to be free

2024 Update: Still the best fish and chips in the area, great portions, great food, great staff, great value. Cannot recommend highly enough! Solid reliable fish and chip shop. Good quality and very generous portions make for great value for money. They do orange chips on some of the quieter days midweek. Used to come here regularly when I lived locally and still make a point of popping in whenever I'm passing.

I used this chippy 45+ years ago when I lived just up the hill and they cooked the best chips locally. Just moved back into the area and the chippy is still as good as I remembered. I had a bag of chips that were hot, freshly cooked and tasted really nice, not greasy at all, they were well cooked with the potato still fluffy inside.

Just went in on Sunday the 21st April and the guy behind the counter was so rude and me had no manners. The way we spoke to me and the customer before me was out if order. I just walked away and left

Ordered online after clear advertisement of battered chips Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Only to receive a disappointing bag of pale plain chips. It was the single only reason I ordered from here. Probably won’t again :(

Brilliant service- delicious food

This fish and chip place is such a fun little food shop, the customer service is unmatched - it's so good. The food itself is an AMAZING price for the amount you get and the quality is beyond satisfactory. I always get a small cone of chips, it feeds me and my boyfriend. It's nice in terms of atmosphere too, never fail to have a nice little giggle when I'm in there and always leave with a bag full of goodness. My new regular chippie, that's for sure.

The food is incredibly delicious and very reasonable in price. The service is always great and the servers are lovely and very polite.

The fish was lovely, nicely cooked and flaky. The chips were really good and a nice portion. I had cockles which I love but can’t get from every restaurant.the driver was friendly and polite. I’ve never used this restaurant before but will certainly order again 👍

Always a pleasure to visit this business. The staff are most friendly but most of all the food is delicious. Never too much trouble to ask how you are or to cook something if not readily available.

Ordered a regular cone of chips and curry sauce. Chips were not fresh, they were cold and hard. Very disappointed. I’d give it zero stars if I could, the lady who I ordered from wasn’t polite.
