The carvery was terrible There were no roast potatoes and they gave us a child's plate because they had no bigger plates left even though there were only 10 people in the room, there was no mashed potatoes so when I asked them for more it came out freezing

Ordered via Uber. Amazingly quick delivery but the food warranted a Google review itself. Huge portion, lovely and fresh and reminded us of our time in Crete. 10000% would recommend

This place has been around for at least 35 years that I know of and probably much longer than that. That's got to tell you something. I think it would be fair to say that this place hasn't changed much in all that time. There is a fish tank, if you can find it, a nod to flock wall paper which you would have to be of a certain age to know what I'm talking about, together with crockery that has been a staple for more restaurants than you could ever imagine. Yes, it is a little rough around the edges, including a trip to the upstairs loo which was memorable for the wrong reasons. It is clean and boasts a 5* Hygiene Certificate which few others can say. I really like the place, it took me back to the 80s, except the staff here were very friendly and obliging. There's a comprehensive menu that covers all the bases including a children's mene. The food on our early Friday night visit was excellent. Nice warm poppadoms with generous dips, and we were off for a good start. The sheekh kebab was superb, nicely spiced fine ground mince that had not been overly bound together like a Peperami. There was nothing wrong with the onion bhaji either. There were three of us and I would go so far as to say that the main dishes we had were collectively the most flavoursome we have experienced. In most restaurants you would have to forgive very strong similarities between some dishes in our case, a Jalfrezi, Balti and a Garlic Chilli Chicken. Not here though as each dish had its own distinct flavour profile and the chicken in each was tender. The sides were very including an impressively puffy garlic naan. The restaurant was quiet on the night but I prefer that to one where you can't here yourself think. Although I noticed it was quite busy on the take aways. An excellent meal at a very competitive price plus the option of being able to take your own alcohol. Parking was a little bit of a problem but it was well worth the effort.

I've been coming here for over 30 years and it's still the best curry you can get. The staff are all lovely and the food it's just so good. You can't get a chicken tikka or butter chicken dry fry anywhere else which is why I keep coming back. The prawn dishes and staters are also fantastic. I used to love coming here with my parents as a child and have many happy memories. Its all been refurbished and looks great but thankfully its still the same chefs and still the same lovely tasting food. Can't wait to come back.

Really nice inside, great fun on the bowling and arcade, the restaurant and bar area is nice pool tables and dart board also available. The food was very nice and highly recommended.

Beautiful food, friendly service and a really memorable experience. The food was just so tasty. Glorious flavours and deliciously fragrant. Adored the pomegranate chicken and the King of Persia too! To be fair it was all delicious…the meat with the mixed kebabs was so tender!!! Will definitely be going back asap!!!

Afternoon Tea was yet again wonderful very fresh tastey homemade scones/jam such a lovely Afternoon warm and friendly atmosphere . Always welcome with a smile. Food presentation 5☆ Sandwiches 🥪 was lovely and enough cakes n Pot of Tea. Will be booking again .

Phenomenal! Denash’s Taste of The Caribbean you are truly gifted. We had mutton bites, ital patty, curry goat stuffed dumpling to start and they did not disappoint. We had honey, coconut and chilli glazed salmon, with plantain mash for the main which was delicious! We had Caribbean style fruit cake with rummed up caramel sauce to finish. Denash is creative, thinks outside of the box, not afraid to take risks and it all pays off. Thank you for a fantastic Friday night dinner! Janine, you were a great host, very attentive, warm, friendly and a great sense of humour. Thank you both! Update 28/01/2025 - I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th Birthday at Oryan’s Cocktail Bar. A wonderful night that I won’t forget and a fantastic venue. My family and friends were in awe of the intimate setting, the spectacular food and great music. If you are looking for a venue that gives birthday dinner & party vibes, this is the place to book. Beautiful decor, good capacity, great room size, a variety of drinks to choose from the bar and very clean toilets. The staff are so professional, attentive and so easy to work with. They provided everything I wanted and more. Ryan AKA Ottley Don knows his stuff when it comes to music and getting the crowd going. Denash’s Taste of The Caribbean is a 5 star chef - the flavours, the innovation and the presentation of the food …10/10! Ryan, Denash and the bar staff! Thank you for making this night happen. Well I have to say this is the best place I've found to eat for a long time steak was amazing carnt belive we nearly made a massive mistake to go miller and carter 20 x better thankyou for your lovely service oh and bang on trend pistachio cheesecake yum 😋 be back very soon
