Great spot and venue. Very friendly and professional staff. Went to a private Birthday party and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't have any food as it was late private function.Will be going back, Definitely worth a visit.

I have dined in and had several takeaways from Denash's taste of the Caribbean. The food and service is always 10/10 I have never been disappointed. Even my daughter constantly raves about the restaurant especially the fried chicken. I would definitely recommend visiting

Chef Denash always delivers high quality dishes. The food has authentic flavours some of which with modern and unique twists. This is our local restaurant and we wouldn’t go anywhere else for Jamaican food. We are never disappointed and the customer service is always excellent. The jerk chicken tastes as good as anything that you would get in Jamaica.

The food was very nice well presented and worth the price. It was also well filling and due to pre ordering the food came out very quick and efficient. The music genre was also great. The lady that served my family was also very mannered and polite. Very please would definitely come again.

Lovely service, lots of communication regarding dietary requirements. The food was excellent, portion size, flavours was 10/10. Lots to choose from the menu.

Food was very good. Only downfall was the driver left my food on my porch floor my food could of be place on the shoe storage. I don't like my food left on floor so that's why I couldn't give the delievery high score.

I attended the bottomless brunch with other ladies from the Birmingham black women group and I was very impressed! The 3 course meal was presented beautifully and it tasted great! The service was great too, all staff members were friendly and courteous. Drinks were ordered as soon as your glass was empty and plates were removed once finished in a timely manner. I would highly recommend visiting Oryan’s for a positive Caribbean dining experience and will definitely be returning!

Attended the bottomless brunch on 23rd Sept. Food was fabulous and very tasty. Cocktails were beautiful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back again. Chefs kiss to the chefs! Been following on socials for a few months now. So glad the food taste just as good as it looks if not better. Had the chicken wings, prawn linguine and chocolate brownie. As a Caribbean woman eating catered Caribbean food yano how judgemental we can be lol but I had no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon ☺️

Went to this establishment to celebrate my sisters birthday. First impressions lovely decor. Food absolutely on point, I had the barbecue wings starter (wish I had two or three portions) followed on by a lovely steak with all the trimmings from the chef. And then, to complete it all, I had the rum cake custard. I really cannot say anything bad about my dining experience at this venue. Oh yes, I will certainly be back very soon.

First visit to Oryan Bar/Denash's Taste of the Carribean.. Initial impression, as soon as I walked in the gentlemam behind the bar was quite welcoming. Drinks menu is quite versatile and the cocktails were excellent. Food wise I order the Saltfish fritters and Jerk Linguine Denash's character is shown through his presentation and the various flavours he has explored to created his dishes. UPDATE: I've been back since first visit. Tried the Ital Patty and again Jerk Linguine- again this was excellent and consistent with first experience. Would highly recommend.

Danash's Taste of the Caribbean Booked a table with some friends and we were not disappointed. The menu had a good selection, and we had the works! Starter's, mains, deserts, and a cheeky cocktail. I'm so glad we did as the food was really good; tasty and nicely presented. It was great value, and the service was superb. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Went for the first time with my lifelong friends. Was greeted by Janine with the most beautiful smile. She was attentive to our needs. Food was absolutely 💯 on point. Not just the normal Caribbean dishes but with a twist to it. Authentic taste. Love it and would recommend to my family and friends. Lovely relaxing evening 😊 Thank you to the chef top notch 👌

Venue ok. But to call themselves a cocktail bar and charge the same amount as high end restaurants!? Bit of a joke bar staff had no idea what she was shaking up and I got a tangy juice with no presentation whatsoever

Attended a 30th birthday. Owner was welcoming and friendly, but his staff was excellent all night. They had the same bubbly and friendly attitude from start to finish. Their cocktails are a must.

Love the drinks they have on offer and they do a cocktail 2 for £13 offer

would never recommend this venue as i was refused my deposit back of £250 which i lost out on due to change of circumstances.

Wanted to try this as was on way back from an event we had been at earlier. This is a fantastic place. The menu is amazing and every single dish we had was stunning. We are hard to please and expect quality when we eat out and this did not disappoint, relaxing with the best food we’ve had out in London for a while with the best soundtrack through the afternoon- which we were doing our best to get hold of- made for a very chilled and tasty experience. Chef came out and got a round of applause from us. We will definitely be back. It looks like a super place to have a party and this is exactly where we would book for early next year. Deborah the new manager was great and she made us feel very welcome and looked after us wonderfully. I would look forward to discuss our party with her in the next few weeks. X

A good place for birthdays and anniversary celebrations etc.. Good drinks bar nice decor.. With relaxing facilities.. The only problem i found is that the room space was not big enough for our guests.. Otherwise a good place to chill and enjoy a relaxing night.. Security on door..

I did my daughter bday party here and the staff was soooo amazing bless him lol the DJ did a beautiful job with the music i would highly recommend. Thank you for having me and making my daughter's dream come true. Will be booking here again this time with the food lol

Bar Was Nice & Welcoming, Staff Were Polite. We Used The Upstairs Private Hire Room. Which Was Great For The Amount Of People We Had.

Had a family meal on the 12th September at this place. Paid a 10 pound deposit before hand to secure me and my 3 daughters attendance. We order prawn salad which the prawn looked like it was straight out of the freezer no seasoning and very bland. Also lobster which the lobster was under cooked and hard to cut through. I did not have no starter or main brought out to me and I was still charged 27£ my one daughter never ate her lobster and was also charged 27£ considering we all paid 10£ Deposit so we was charged 37£ for each meal when deposit was suppose to of been taken off.. i would bot advise anyone to eat here.. the food is not nice. The staff behind the bar was friendly but that was the only good thing..

These selfish people are in a heavily residential area and play music throughout the night to the point you can hear it clearly through other buildings and double glazing.

Another really good meal at Blu Magic in Sion. The food is always good. The chef Matthew lovely and the presentation is excellent. Portion sizes good and service good. Music is loud enough to enjoy but can still chat easily. Nice lighting and ambience. Consistently impressed with the food and service.

We celebrated a family birthday here and the food was out of this world and the service was top class. Really looking forward to going back again!

Mi amigo y yo vinimos también de Sion antes de una noche de fiesta. Nos recibieron en la puerta y nos sentamos enseguida. Realmente me gustó eso ya que el servicio al cliente parece ser una rareza en la hospitalidad en estos días. Nos dieron rápidamente bebidas y menús de comida. A decir verdad, sabíamos lo que queríamos, así que pedimos de inmediato. El ambiente era encantador, la música de fondo era de 90 s rnb. Noté que apareció una canción y una parte estaba apareciendo con letras explícitas y el camarero cambió la canción rápidamente. Como no ofende demasiado a los mecenas. Me gustó ese toque. Nuestra comida salió y la presentación fue hermosa. Luego lo probé, fue divino. Tuve el trío de cerdo Theo y mi amigo el cordero. . . Nunca hablamos mucho. Aparte de tomar un respiro. Recomiendo probar este restaurante por su amplia gama de cócteles y su extenso menú.

Went to arrange for a group of us (30) to attend the restaurant in September. Was offered to attend a taster, this was done two days later. What can I say... staff was excellent but the food was out of this world! Matthew the chef out did himself we was not expecting a full starter & main meal for two and this was tasters. Booked straight away for the group. Could not resist but had to book a table for my partners birthday for four of us. Amazing is what I got from them all and considering that the chef Matthew had just been discharged from hospital the day before he did not let us down as once again the food and presentation amazing. Everyone needs to go to this place as the food and staff will not disappoint them.WOW WOW WOW.

Attended friends birthday dinner upstairs in private room. Food delicious. Portions big and plentiful. Service great, polite and efficient. Would love to have stayed for late drinks to dance downstairs however there was another private party going on. Really enjoyed the hospitality. Matthew the chef is highly skilled. I liked the cleanliness of the toilets and the extra touches like the emergency box of thins in bathroom like tissues and wipes and deodorant. Nice touch. Thanks again

Not happy, arrived at 6.30 pm. Not served starter until after 8pm.(which was cold alongside the rice and peas). The portion sizes ie the salmon are not value for money. In total it took until 9.30 pm to be served. The children got their meals at nearly 9pm. To be honest not a good experience in regards to serve and food. On a good note the Blue Wray cocktail was lovely we ordered 3 of those. Over priced meals. Needed to be hot to table on warm plates. OH! To much seasoning in the gravy/sauce it over powered the chicken.

This a gem of a place. The food was great, the staff were attentive and welcoming and the atmosphere was just relaxing and one I hope to return too. We had my father’s 70th party there and he is a hard man to please, but 10 out of 10! Friends and family loved it. Thank you for making it memorable and special.

The atmosphere is lovely, the food was well presented, and tasted amazing. Whilst the selection on the menu is limited, it was of a very high standard. The cocktails are good value, the alcoholic ones really are alcoholic. The waitress we had was attentive and had a very good sense of humour. The music was the right volume, you could have a conversation, the mix of music was also good, old school, current, reggae, soul, etc. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for couples and groups.

Did you ever see the old westerns where the good guy walks in and for a pause the music stops, conversation quiet street and everyone stares. .. welcome to sion... a sort of anti-Cheers. A far cry from some of its old incarnations where the music spilled onto the street, Sion rarely seems to show any life at all. For weeks at a time I think it's finally closed but then see a group slide into its speakeasy interior. Beer expensive, food adequate but expensive, ambience would be improved with complimentary stab vests..... head across the road to the Bear instead.

Went to the 'Quality'party there last night, was quite dissapointed. No decent party lightening, small, cramped and quite dingy looking really. Was no where near worth paying £15 for tickets.

First time visit with friends. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were a bit disappointed as salmon and sea bass was not available by the time that we placed our order. However once we decided on our order the food was great when it arrived. The flavours were amazing and the food was nicely presented with generous portions. We were disappointed with the dessert menu as there were no hot puddings and only ice cream was available. Also there was no tea or coffee. It was a pity as a nice dessert and coffee would have nicely rounded off the menu which I would expect when dining out. The music was great and loved the old Skool vibes. However the music could have been lowered a touch as it was difficult to hold a conversation across the table without shouting. Music can be cranked up for parties but not when trying to have table conversation. Overall it was a lovely evening but there is some room for improvement with a few tweaks to the menu.

I go here like once every month or so. It’s a nice, modern cocktail bar/restaurant. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere, the staff are friendly and they try their best to make you feel comfortable without being overpowering. I’ve tried the prawns and bbq wings for starter and both were good. I’ve not been very adventurous with my main as I ALWAYS have the Salmon Supreme with pickled veg and rice and peas. They do say “ if it’s not broken why fix it?” I’m hooked! So hooked I’ll be going back in a few days and I’ll be having the Salmon again. I’ve never had a dessert as I tend to replace it with their fruity yet strong cocktails. Rum punch and girl power are good choices. If you haven’t been as yet definitely try it out. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is so lovely. Intimate environment, lovely wait staff, awesome food and even better drinks.

Four of us returned to Sion mainly for the food. Did not disappoint. The best Caribbean food in the West midlands without a doubt. Tried the ones in Birmingham city centre tried the Bromsgrove one and the one in Moseley, non of them come close. Lovely staff, great music.

Lovely friendly staff. Awesome cocktails- worth every penny. 10/10
