Hat to wait 1 hour 35 minutes for table.. then the server we had she was as miserable as the day is long the food was nothing to shout about the steak was nice..had to wait far too long in between starter and main not the greatest experience again at the miller & carter hoped this one was better than the Wolverhampton was unfortunately not

Booked a meal with friends for New Year’s Eve. It was a set three-course menu, for a set price, with a glass of Prosecco to start. From the moment we walked into the venue we were greeted with friendly, smiling faces, everyone willing to help and assist. Our waitress was Donna, who was extremely helpful with us making our food choices, offering descriptions and suggestions. The whole evening was lovely, and I can’t wait to go back again.

Our waitress Louise was fantastic considering the awful stress she was under. Hardly any staff to cover a full restaurant it was awful . We had to wait over an hour to get our drinks n then delays in the food service due to no staff

The restaurant was very quiet compared to previous visits, however, the service was very slow So much so that we skipped dessert as we couldn't be bothered with the wait

We were a party of 30 people for a Birthday celebration. I can honestly say, the service, food and general ambiance was fabulous. Our waitress Paris for the evening was courteous, hard working and friendly but remained professional at all times. Food was served relatively all together despite us being such a large group. Very happy with the overall experience. Special thanks to Paris and management.

Lovely atmosphere, didn’t wait long for the food during lunch time. Donna was our waitress, she was very welcoming and answered all our questions about the upcoming festive menu. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a fantastic night out with my daughter. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The service was excellent and we did not have to wait too long for service. A little disappointed with our meals as we asked for the starters to be delivered with the mains and they came after we had started eating the main and the chips came at the end of our meal. The meal was nice but could have been better if they had got the things out on time.

Was a lovely night out for mom's birthday and we both really enjoyed the food and service. When out server Donna found out it was my mom's birthday they were very kind to write her a lovely birthday message on her desert even without asking. Would recommend for a lovely meal and time out.

Mandy looked after us with first class service.I had a glass of Pinot noir with my ribeye steak, a good choice.My wife had the salmon, very healthy.

I’ve been there several times, but this time it wasn’t quite as good. The food was as good as always, but the service was a bit chaotic. We didn’t get the wedge with the steak. We had to remind the waitress twice before it was brought. The toilets were a disgrace, so much so that I brought it to the attention of a staff member.

Sadly didn't get chance to dine arrived just before 9.pm waited a short while at the host desk nothing major asked for a table of 2 when someone come over to me, to be told kitchen was closed because of a kitchen duct clean. I went for lunch, but having experienced evening meals there before, I'd say the evening meals are much better. The lobster tail was overdone and the steaks were flat eventhough it was medium rare. Maybe they have different food for lunch time compared to the evening.

Perfect food. Everything was exactly as expected and for a table of 9 it was quite a feet. The vegetarian option (spinach pie) was also fantastic for a steak resturaunt, couldn't fault anything at all.

What a fantastic night! We made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion which was made extra special by the manager Abigail who decorated our table which was a lovely surprise for my partner. The service was spot on as always (Thanks Donna R). Service with a smile, and made an effort to interact with us throughout the night! We have been to several Miller & Carter restaurants, but Hagley Road is our favourite and the food was perfect, my partner and I couldn't have enjoyed it more if we tried. A true chef, thanks Lee! I cannot thank you all enough.

Donna was our server and she was absolutely fabulous she knew about all the food on the menu and drinks available. The food today was cooked by Lee and it was cooked well and presented lovely.

Just had lunch with my son and husband. I have eaten at Miller and Carter before but not in Birmingham. We chose from the lunch menu because I'd had a good experience in Liverpool. Birmingham experience was completely different. My son had the ribs which he said were non descript. My husband had the steak sandwich which was meant to be a fillet. It wasn't fillet and not a good taste. I went for the rump medium rare which was dry and dense. I had tgevpeppercorn sauce which didn't help improve it. The waitress asked of I wanted something else off the menu. I ordered the fillet steak and was charged extra for it with a few fries and a dried bit of onion loaf and a sliver of tomato with the peppercorn sauce. We all had 2 courses and shared a bottle of red wine. The bill came to £87.25. Not good value for money and I wouldn't recommend it. I did leave a tip as I didn't want to appear rude. My soncand husband had already eaten their meal when mine arrived ao I didn't feel in the mood for mine. So shared it out. I won't go again nor will my son who lives in Birmingham. I'm still hungry

We were a party of 4 and all had different options from the 2-course meal menu and all were served at the same time - food was well presented, hot and very tasty - thanks to Di who was the Grill chef on the day. Our server, Donna, was friendly and didn’t rush us to make our meal choices and checked back in with us to ensure we were all happy with our meals.
