Been here a few times now, usually for occasions. Donna has served us a couple of times and always bang on. Came out tonight for birthday celebration and everything spot on - thanks to Di who is an excellent chef!

Food was very good, but because they were busy and we were seated out of the way I struggled to attract the server's attention. In the end on two occasions I had to walk up to them in the main part of the restaurant and ask them to serve us. At these prices I expect a better level of service than other restaurants. I'm not blaming the serving staff. Whoever is in charge need to employ sufficient staff.

We attended on the 18th and had the most amazing experience. My wife and I visit M&C regularly but this was the first time with our daughter and thought we would make use of a voucher we had over Christmas. Amy, our server, was exceptional in taking our orders, offering knowledge and advice on drinks and her overall manner. The 3 course 'rare treat' menu was amazing value and our steaks were cooked to utter perfection (credits to Finney on this). Overall we had a great day and hopefully one of many where our daughter can enjoy too.

Food was good but took ages to arrive. We were seated beside a very draughty window on a freezing cold day so we were very cold by the time we left. It would obviously have been more pleasant if it had been summer rather than January and sub-zero outside!

Louise was lovely made us feel very comfortable and didn’t feel as though what we asked was too much! Lees cooking was perfect lovely food definitely come back again! Thank you again :)

We were a party of fifteen out for my wife’s 60th birthday,we were served extremely well by Amy &Sarah,Service and food were exceptional and timed to perfection and hats off to Lee and the kitchen,perfectly cooked steaks finished off perfectly with a superb chocolate cake,well done to everyone 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Visited with family this evening service was horrible booked table for 6.30 was not seated till 7.40 only had main meals as it was 9 o’clock by the time we had finished mains got pudding menus waited a further half hour still no order taken so asked for bill and to speak to manager Was spoken to like dirt by manager who is obviously in the wrong job she raised her voice at me in front of other guests another manager apologised for her behaviour because she had heard the way she spoke to me Food was lovely shame the service and manager let the rest of the visit down I wouldn't visit here again ever manager needs to go back on customer service training or find another job that doesn’t involve the public.

Very limited choice of alcohol free drinks, steak was a little undercooked and no sweet potato fries, seems to have lost its way a little. Restaurant cold, needs to put some heating on!!

It took 2 hours for me to just get my starters And I got at this restaurant at 7 and it’s now 9 and still no main course haven’t even ordered it yet. Had to wait 45 mins for my first set of drinks out. The service is very slow takes ages. The toilets are absolutely grim look like they have never been cleaned and the men and women go through the same door into a toilet. My whole family was fed up bc we have children with us. Would not recommend to people who want a nice quick dinner and not sit around waiting because especially if you have Children you will be there all night.

Elliot and Amy was absolutely amazing kept the drinks flowing, was very professional with checking that we had everything we needed lovely warm welcome form Elliot and couldn’t fault the food from dianne. Amazing all round 10/10

The food was not too bad. The service was a bit slow, the food was slow. Scallops were overcooked. But our waiter was very lovely.

We visited Miller & Carter Hagley Road for my birthday meal and we were very impressed with the food and the service. You do not get quality steaks like this from your run of the mill pub food so it’s really worth treating yourself, we will definitely be visiting again! Our server for the evening was Louise, who we found to be friendly and professional- even bringing me a birthday platter with ice cream, fruit and a candle, which was a lovely end to our meal!

Food was perfect. Fussy order we made was bang on. Great service. Worth every penny. You can choose a quiet area staff are very thoughtfull.

Typical pre cooked warmed/microwaved chain food. Not very good. Under cooked and cold. Not worth the money we spent.

Steaks were full of fat so an 8oz steak turned into a 4oz which for what there charging for them is a joke. Restaurant was cold and no atmosphere even though we visited on Christmas eve. This is my 2nd visit here and both experiences have been bad so I won't be returning. I don't know why people give miller and carter all the hype when it's just average food over priced.

Hat to wait 1 hour 35 minutes for table.. then the server we had she was as miserable as the day is long the food was nothing to shout about the steak was nice..had to wait far too long in between starter and main not the greatest experience again at the miller & carter hoped this one was better than the Wolverhampton was unfortunately not

Booked a meal with friends for New Year’s Eve. It was a set three-course menu, for a set price, with a glass of Prosecco to start. From the moment we walked into the venue we were greeted with friendly, smiling faces, everyone willing to help and assist. Our waitress was Donna, who was extremely helpful with us making our food choices, offering descriptions and suggestions. The whole evening was lovely, and I can’t wait to go back again.

We were a party of 30 people for a Birthday celebration. I can honestly say, the service, food and general ambiance was fabulous. Our waitress Paris for the evening was courteous, hard working and friendly but remained professional at all times. Food was served relatively all together despite us being such a large group. A little disappointed with our meals as we asked for the starters to be delivered with the mains and they came after we had started eating the main and the chips came at the end of our meal. The meal was nice but could have been better if they had got the things out on time.

Was a lovely night out for mom's birthday and we both really enjoyed the food and service. When out server Donna found out it was my mom's birthday they were very kind to write her a lovely birthday message on her desert even without asking. Would recommend for a lovely meal and time out.

I’ve been there several times, but this time it wasn’t quite as good. The food was as good as always, but the service was a bit chaotic. We didn’t get the wedge with the steak. We had to remind the waitress twice before it was brought. The toilets were a disgrace, so much so that I brought it to the attention of a staff member.

Mandy looked after us with first class service.I had a glass of Pinot noir with my ribeye steak, a good choice.My wife had the salmon, very healthy.

I went for lunch, but having experienced evening meals there before, I'd say the evening meals are much better. The lobster tail was overdone and the steaks were flat eventhough it was medium rare. Maybe they have different food for lunch time compared to the evening.

I hadn't tried this location yet and I wasn't disappointed. We had the best service ever from Molly, she's a star!

Molly was our sever and she was absolutely brilliant !! She couldn’t have done more, she made our experience great! The food and drinks were amazing too ! We both had 12oz ribeye and the bone marrow side to share which were both delicious!!

Perfect food. Everything was exactly as expected and for a table of 9 it was quite a feet. The vegetarian option (spinach pie) was also fantastic for a steak resturaunt, couldn't fault anything at all.

What a fantastic night! We made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion which was made extra special by the manager Abigail who decorated our table which was a lovely surprise for my partner. The service was spot on as always (Thanks Donna R). Service with a smile, and made an effort to interact with us throughout the night! We have been to several Miller & Carter restaurants, but Hagley Road is our favourite and the food was perfect, my partner and I couldn't have enjoyed it more if we tried. A true chef, thanks Lee! I cannot thank you all enough.
