Lovely meal served staff are very friendly and service was excellent thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening and having a good meal for dinner

Went here with friends for lunch and drinks on Sunday and let me tell you it was the best experience I ever had in a restaurant. Was served by the lovely Ru and she was amazing! Best service we could receive, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. She was the perfect combination of friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a great asset to the company and will surely come back soon! Ps. The banoffee cheesecake is to die for and trio meats sunday roast was the best I had in a while!

Booked for a large party of 18 for an 80th birthday waitress (sorry forgot her name) was excellent nothing was to much trouble and went the extra mile and kept smiling when I know it can be challenging looking after a big party of guest, food was good no complaints and didn’t have to wait long so all round great experience made all the better by the staff! Keep up the good work guys!

have been staying here on & off for a year now due to business the best start to the day is the breakfast especially when Patrick is on as chef his warmth and focus is outstanding and his customer focus second to none only once had an issue and the manager, Kat sorted without fuss straight away. if you stay your in safe hands if these guys are on

We found Cookhouse whist visiting the area and wanting a traditional Sunday lunch. Parking was easy, greeted on entry and shown to a table by friendly staff. Service was excellent and the food was very good. The cost was also very reasonable. We were able to relax after the meal in a lounge area which had easy to listen to music which wasn't too loud. We would definitely repeat the visit.Thanks to Nicole and Kyle our waiters.

I was staying at the Premier Inn for one night, so I ate dinner at the Queen Inn Cookhouse & Pub, then the unlimited cooked breakfast the morning after. The food was tasty and hearty, with a good range of vegetarian options. The staff were really welcoming, and Layla was particularly helpful and friendly.

We came here to celebrate our daughter birthday last weekend, there was over 25 of our family invited to the meal, all with different needs and preferences. we were asked to pre order our meal which was served to us fast. LajlaB the restaurant supervisor was looking after us she was so friendly and helpful. also a great laugh and even gave our daughter a gift which was vey much appreciated. the chefs Pow Mo and Aj was very accommodating to all the group needs. The positive was the cocktails, friendly staff service and the food was hot and very tasty maybe some more world food would compliment the menu. the negatives sorry but the car park is way too small and the wi-fi is weak. never the less we will be returning for future celebrations and we will be recommending this restaurant to all our family and friends.

Was so disappointed we were going to have the 2 meals for £11.99 the smothered chicken but told if we want the coleslaw and the salad it was all extras there hardly anyone in and the service was slow we go there once a week so please get your act together and get it sorted

Layla was amazing, so attentive and caring to our needs. Me and my client have been here a few times and the food is always cooked well. We have felt taken care of every single time being here.

Been here a few times before but this time we came for my daughters birthday meal which I can only describe as fantastic. All staff went above and beyond, nothing was to much trouble. The restaurant was spotless and although they were very busy we were still made to feel special and didn’t wait long for our drinks or food. What was especially nice to see was management helping out the staff instead of pen pushing in the office! Thank you to all the team at this lovely establishment, we will certainly return again soon.

Food “Looked” amazing, and from what we managed to eat was delicious; on arrival we was greeted by Kerry, however the way she presented herself wasn’t amazing; not verbally but the personal hygiene was clear wasn’t top of her priority, given that we was seated, at first we thought maybe it was the cleanliness of the table; so we asked another member of staff if we could be moved, it became clear on next arrival of Kerry with menus and drinks, this lady was the route cause to this smell; bad oddur; and was lacking cleanliness! On arrival with our food the smell had got that bad my other half refused to eat her meal the smell had put her off eating; this isn’t an insult and I hope the work place can invest this lady in some proper hygiene courses or a quiet word! But with deodorant at £1 from Poundland this really shouldn’t be an issue E specially not in an establishment we’re food is served! Sorry to this lady but please please! Don’t come to work without the correct level of hygiene!
