Friendly restaurant, attentive staff .. our server Hollie was professional and helpful, meals were substantial, tasty and well prepared..

Staff were efficient and lovely & dealt with a large party of us really well. Fish & chips i had was great, fresh & hot . I will definitely return & possibly try the Sunday carvery. Thanks for the great service !!!

Was served by Trina who was lovely, very friendly and informative. Had the chicken goujons which were delicious, followed by a sirloin steak cooked medium rare perfectly. First time I have visited this place with my wife after seeing this premier inn hotel with restaurant being built and of course passing it twice everyday. First class meals and would definitely come back again. Update I tried their breakfast on Friday 14th march £10.99 for unlimited eat as much as you like from English brekkie including cereals, juice, tea or coffee etc also unlimited. A must for the hungryest of people.

Went in for lunch with a friend. Didn’t have a booking but Elaine made us feel welcome. She was great at making sure we were happy at all times. Atmosphere was great as well as the food.

We always go here for a meal out. The food quality is good and the prices aren't to big.

Stayed at the hotel last night. Had breakfast In the cookhouse. The food was fabulous as always and the service 2nd to none. Thanks to waitress Lajla and chef Matt for making the experience so pleasurable.

Great value and great food. We had the cooked breakfast which was plentiful and cooked perfectly. It was hot, good and tasty and kept us going long after we left to go shopping. The staff are helpful, advised us about allergies and encouraged us to fill our plates. Its warm, welcoming and you can park there for up to 3 hours :)

service and staff very good. chefs and food taste very very good. the whole atmosphere very well maintained and clean. pleasant company and customer atmosphere. Everything really very good. BUT! why do I have to search for my steak meat with tweezers? why are the 2 pieces, supposedly steaks, so small and so extremely thin like salami slices? when this is declared as "steak" on the menu? It deserves to be called "steak imitations". if the Jorcksher Buddin wasn't on the plate, the plate would also be too small for a small child. It's shameful that with such good employees, such good chefs, the manager maneuvers the entire quality into the trash heap by forcing the chefs to make these small portions. The proportions are so small that I can speak of deliberate customer manipulation. That's why I'm going to drive to another restaurant with my wife to actually eat without getting up from the table hungry.

Book a table here to have a Christmas meal with my family. All went well till everyone had arrived, then came the sucker punch. we were told that there was a shortage of food and only had a few options. And has we arrived in taxi's we were stuck we had no apology for this only to say the delivery was late,the food we had was not up to standard we should have garlic bread but got toast instead, we ordered chicken brest smoothed in BBQ sauce but we only got half a brest and very little sauce.all I can say the night was a right off and I would not recommend this place to anyone. It spoiled what should have been a great family Christmas meal ai will not be going back .

Only came in on a whim, lovely food by a small chef (Pow I think) and a bigger guy (didn't catch his name but kept saying cans in the freezer? Had us cracking up), Hailey our waitress was lovely, and Claire the Manager gave us the warmest welcome. What a great place! Deffo be back in the new year!

Katrina and her team looked after us recently for a get together celebrating the life of our beloved mom Arlene. Katrina was amazing. She did absolutely everything to make the day special and run smoothly, everyone who attended complimented the service and the food that the team served us. Lovely place for a bite to eat with family. Very clean and service is friendly and efficient. We were looked after very well by Dylan. He was very friendly and welcoming and his recommendations were bang on! Thank you for making sure we had a lovely evening Dylan and for bringing my dad a card & box of chocs after realising it was his birthday. Special mention also to the chefs Slaw and Matt. Our food was cooked to perfection and my dad even said it was the best steak he had ever had!

Had a great time at The Queen Inn recently when I went for a family meal, food was great, all of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to cater to our needs (we were a large group) can't recommend this place enough for some good pub food in a warm, relaxed environment

A regular meet up with friends but this time we decided to meet for breakfast. Greated by a cheerful member of staff who took our payment and directed us to our seats. Then you go and serve yourself. I'd opted for the full breakfast £10.99. I also had toast and a croissant with jam, OJ and a flat white. Two friends had the continental breakfast. We all enjoyed our breakfasts so much so we had a second trip up to the breakfast bar. This time I chose the pana chocolate with a blueberry jam pot and a second flat white. I could easily of eaten more but restrained myself. Recommended to my family. It was a great start to our weekend. Don't forget to register your car reg before sitting down ☺

Booked as I'd received a 33% off offer by email, and was passing by. Easy to find, nice big car park, friendly staff and decent food. Service good, although slow while waiting at entrance to check in. It wasn't mentioned, so I'm glad I noticed the need to validate vehicle registration so as to avoid a parking fine.

Me and my hubby celebrated our wedding anniversary here on the 25th. What a wonderful welcome by vicky who was 1 of the managers. Our server was a lovely lad called layton who couldn't do enough for us. He even managed to have a chat with us which was lovely. A lovely young lady name lyla served us on the bar who also had a chat with us. The kitchen team was swarve, matt and pow who cooked our food pipping hot and lovely food as always.Such a lovely evening definitely going back there.

Lovely atmosphere, very light and welcoming. Staff very friendly, especially our server Lajla who looked after us very well with a cheery attitude. The food was served piping hot and obviously not been left standing. It was well presented, looked good and all three meals were of a high standard. Compliments to Paw the chef, the chicken katsu curry was particularly good.

Do any member of staff ever clear tables same glass out side for 4 hours and just took 10 empty back to the bar off a table no thank you and said there are more over there shrug her shoulders and did nothing its not even busy staff more interested in chatting the place has started going down hill over the last couple of year such a shame

I've eaten multiple times at the Queen Inn in West Bromwich, and have had a pleasant experience every single time. I am always seated really quickly whether I have first booked a table or have no reservations at all. The staff are very attentive but not too overly moddycoddling, giving enough time to choose dishes, whilst not leaving you sitting around feeling frustrated. For today's meal I was greedy and opted for 2 mains; the Thai Green Curry (Vegetarian), and the Chicken and Bacon toasted club sandwich. A very good price at around 12 British pounds for both meals!. Both dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato in the Green Curry, an addition I'll definitely be adding to my own recipe next time. The Curry was not overly spicy but had a nice moderate kick of fresh chilli. The sandwich was very standard but cooked well and all the ingredients fresh. Overall another great meal at the Queen Inn, my favourite local eat for both value and great service. I have also included in my review pictures of the Sunday Roast. I usually opt for the trio of meats. The food is beautiful and delicious for the price, and for only 1 pound extra you can upgrade to unlimited roasties, gravy, and Yorkshire puds (Which I always do by the way). I leave feeling very satisfied and very gluttonous, but often with a smile on my face :). Thank you and a shout out to lovely Lauren, who's been my waitress a few times now, topped me up on tatas and yorkies, and always with a pleasant smile. Much appreciated Lauren. After eating I'd highly recommend a walk around the local Dartmouth Park RSPB to alleviate any guilt and calories. If visiting the Birmingham, or West Bromwich area I'd highly recommend you try this place. Tasty food and really friendly and welcoming staff. A nice escape from the often miserable frowns of West Bromwich town.

Cookhouse is always good value and menu is pretty consistent so knew what we would be getting. Usually go to Lakeside in Oldbury but discovered it has closed permanently, hence the swap to here. Food, as always, good enough but not amazing. That said, really good value, especially with a bank holiday discount code (50% of all mains if spending £25). All had Sunday roasts. Late in the afternoon so no turkey left but beef was very good. All round good choice. What was special was our server, Elaine. Have yo say one of the best I’ve experienced. Attentive enough without being too present. We accidentally knocked over a glass of water while she was taking an order nearby - so quick off the mark it was all sorted in seconds with no fuss. Taking our order she advised as much as listened (rare to get this) and we were very well looked after. Table next to us had an adult (vegetarian) with several allergies as well as two ‘fussy eater’ girls. Elaine’s attention support and advice were exceptional and they seemed to be very well catered for. We’re not local so will only come back when visiting but would definitely return - mainly due to Elaine! Thank you Elaine.

Surprisingly tasty and good value food, with great service from Elaine. Roast was huge, vegan burger and desserts were delicious.

Warm welcome on first visit every member of staff treated us like a friend rather than a customer definitely recommend this place to everyone I know really enjoyed the experience and the food was great to. Big thanks to Elaine and the guy who went on his break a big thanks from mark and rose.

Went here for sunday lunch wished i had not bothered sunday roast is pre cooked boil in the bag which i could of bought from across the road at tescos in the freezer section nothing was hot on our plate i returned mine but my other half was feeding our 1 year old grandson from her plate it was barely warm we have both been up alnight with a upset stomach wont be going back

We visited for Sunday lunch having been before and being happy with everything. On this visit we found the food was lukewarm despite the service being quite quick.

the staff are very accommodating, we stayed at the joined premier inn for a weekend and they were so friendly and nice. got them to put some candles on a cake for my nan and they did just that and gave her some chocolates and a card from the restaurant ! the food is alright, the continental breakfast is quite nice and varied but the staff really go above and beyond

Had a meal with my family, our waitress was a lovely Lady called Elaine who took her time with our daughters who have learning and physical disabilities as well as my husband and myself. She had a very welcoming manner and nothing was too much for her. The food was good and l loved how the first thing she did was check for allergies Thank you Elaine we had a lovely time.

We went here for the first time, a couple of nights ago,and the found the food and overall service pretty good, however as first time going there, we totally forgot about giving the car reg to the restaurant. So I rang the day after to see if this could be rectified and give my car reg, but was told the car park was private and nothing to do with the pub! Expected a bit of understanding as a genuine mistake, so now we have a £60 fine coming our way. Scandalous. Nothing mentioned about parking situation online so please be aware of this, otherwise it will turn into a very expensive evening out 😠

Smothered chicken came out burnt the chips stone cold coleslaw dry sent it back only for it to come out the same can't fault the waitress she was great not that busy either won't be going back for a while

We ordered steak and chips, and scampi and chips. Both portions of chips were very dry as if they had been hanging around for ages. My steak had lumps of gristle in it, and both meals were not very hot. We ordered hot drinks and a choice of syrup flavouring to go with them. We were told that none of the syrups were available. (This has happened on other visits to the restaurant. ) Why advertise something that is not available? We found this visit to the restaurant very disappointing.

Amazing food and personalised service Aj cooked food spot on steak perfect medium rare. Dylan's table services is top notch nothing to much trouble. I rate this to anyone as an easy 5*.
