Excellent service and great food. We were a table of 6 we a newborn baby and Chris couldn’t have done more to make sure we were ok. He put us in a quiet room on our own and checked in on us throughout our meal. The food itself was really good, one of the best meals we’ve had out in a while!

Lovely place to visit for a coffee. Run by cheerful volunteers . Very reasonable prices and always some interesting local art work to appreciate. An excellent community run enterprise.

My wife and I arrived without a reservation during a very busy time. The host or maybe it was the manager? Was incredibly accommodating! I asked for a cosy corner and he gave us the two wing back chairs in front of the fireplace! And he light a fire! Food was good and service ,even during this busy time, was fairly good I’d definitely return!

Fantastic experience and food. Really well looked after by a high-quality team who catered for a large family with kids flexibly, understandingly, and professionally. Great simple pub grub too, done well, with a good selection. Great spot for a Guinness too! Thank you all again

Stayed with a friend who I was walking Hadrians Wall with. Great place - nice staff lovely evening meal, good local beer and wonderful breakfast. Importantly, an effective, polite, well considered and low key approach to Covid - so refreshing after some really weirdly experiences elsewhere on the walk!

This establishment shared the organisation of the local Christmas market, where the local arms factory was accepted as a sponsor of the family event. Organisers should know better.

Arrived on time, had a mix up with one of the items but I called up the shop and they were great and sent a replacement. Had to be the moody teenagers food but oh well 😂 thank you for the lovely food and taking the time to deliver again 👍

Really good food, yes it’s a little pricey , but you get what you pay for. Be careful, once you eat here you won’t ever want to go to KFC again.

When travelling down A38 and A5 to Wolverhampton this is convenient stop with drive thru facility and toilets. Avoiding M6 toll

This has to be the worst indian takeaway i've ever had and i've had some bad ones. DO NOT come here for a takeaway, go somewhere else. Received half a poppadom all crushed up in a bag not even a full one for 1pound. Food was clearly frozen prior curry and rice had a frozen microwave taste to it. I threw a lot of it in the bin after just a few tastes.

Me an my partner come here once a year for a date night and each year it’s the same. Food is really nice, decor is beautiful, staff are labsy daisy and the restaurant really lacks a present manager or the owners being there. It’s a shame this day and age that going out a for a nice meal is a treat and I feel staff take this for granted.
