The best restaurants in Shenstone Lichfield West Midlands

Myself and family spent New yrs eve at this fantastic bar and restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions were not on the skinny side either. The service was great and the atmosphere warm and friendly. A goodnight out for all the family, we will definitely be back 👌

Very good meal and friendly staff. It was New Year's Eve so quite busy despite a very disappointing number of last minutes cancellations citing bad weather as the excuse. We always enjoy the atmosphere at the Holly Bush with a lovely fire and dog friendly area.

We have to say the service was brilliant. The young lady serving an absolute delight, pleasant, efficient, could not fault. We have passed this cafe on my way to Lichfield several times and finally we decided to stop off. At first the setting disappointed, it really is a very large greenhouse type building, you cannot see out and after 20 minutes realise it is very cold for sitting in, we did not stay long. The coffee was lovely and the food good. We just had a sandwich which was nice and the salad fresh. The areas are very clean, the toilets are okay, clean and tidy. Our one gripe unfortunately is the cost of products. We both felt the prices are way above what they should be for what is at the moment a basic cafe. Missed opportunities to attract many people who just want a break without paying rather expensive prices for what is currently not a building that warrants this. All the staff were very pleasant and there is a good car park. This is meant as constructive criticism as there are so many good points, but opportunities missed.

The most amazing friendly staff delicious and extensive menu. Cannot recommend highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

Great price and great tasting food.

Fantastic breakfast and lovely service from the ladies at Willow and Boar this morning. I enjoyed the pancakes and the hubby had the Crumpet burger. Amazing toilets too! Thank you, we had a relaxed morning enjoying time together.

Better to eat in here the service can be a little slow though

The soft play area is freezing cold compared to rest of the site. When asked why we’re told 1 : there is no heating - rubbish, there is a heater above the soft play, just not switched on 2 - then told it only comes on sometimes- it never came on and all the other heaters we’re constantly on 3- then told “you would have been warned at the till” - well I booked online and no mention of no heating, I’ve now promised the children to go to soft play so can’t now charge mind Either fix it, or make up your mind which excuse / lie you want to use
