The best restaurants in Shenstone Lichfield West Midlands

We went for an evening meal to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our server Natalia was fantastic, she a lovely lady, she made a fuss of my husband and we had a bit of fun with her and one of our family members has certain food allergies and she went out of her way to make sure her food was correct. The food was excellent, credit to the chefs also that never get a mention. We will definitely recommend this restaurant, the front of house were excellent too. Keep hold of these members of staff, they’re just lovely. Reasonably priced too. The finishing touch was my husband got a free bottle of Prosecco for his birthday. 5* place

Lovely place to visit for a coffee. Run by cheerful volunteers . Very reasonable prices and always some interesting local art work to appreciate. An excellent community run enterprise.

Enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea, friendly staff, great atmosphere and food great value and the best !

Portion sizes were enormous, staff were efficient and friendly, loved that our dog was made welcome.

I have drove past here many times but today was the first time i came to eat, and i wish i had come sooner! Inside was really nicely decorated, the service was amazing, they were so friendly! Thank you to our servers! The food was tasty, it came quick despite the restaurant being full! You can also bring your own alcohol to drink, which is a huge bonus! I am already planning on coming back next week!

Absolutely fabulous place. A very warm welcome for our family birthday meal. Ambiance was perfect. We had the 3 course Sunday lunch & drinks. Staff were very attentive & food was stunning. Will definitely be returning.

Located in country lanes outside Burntwood the Nelson Inn is a fabulous pub/restaurant. The bar is busy, friendly and great atmosphere. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, a couple of TVs showing the football although a family atmosphere and welcome exists. There are plenty of tables and a good mix of locals and visitors. Thee are 2 menus, one being a bar one and the other Restaurant both of which can be eaten in the bar. I had the Rump Steak Baguette served with Skinny Fries which was delicious. The Restaurant is a separate room and was very busy, agin a good atmosphere. Both menus offer plenty of choice and include vegetarian options. The staff are friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The prices are reasonable and we will definitely come back.

Stayed with a friend who I was walking Hadrians Wall with. Great place - nice staff lovely evening meal, good local beer and wonderful breakfast. Importantly, an effective, polite, well considered and low key approach to Covid - so refreshing after some really weirdly experiences elsewhere on the walk!

Lovely village pub with lovely fresh food on the menu. I had a lovely meal here, the staff are always friendly and welcoming! Dog friendly too so even the pooch came along. Thanks for a lovely meal and drinks, I'll be back!

Went yesterday 4 of us led us straight to our table pleasant staff lovely meal bit of a hiccup with one of the starters but soon rectified pleasantly, food delicious will definitely be going back 😋

It’s a Costa. Fair price for a decent coffee. The actual seating area might as well be any Open Office anywhere. Apart from us, everyone was either in a business meeting (face to face or on live) or working on a laptop.

That’s my first review but not expecting I’m giving bad review to anywhere anyway so me and my Friend went there we ordered veg nudldles we got drinks in our hands he said outside drinks not available which is totally fine we agreed and we sat outside chef came gave our order than we thought we can eat outside then we asked for disposable fork but he said we Dnt have then I asked if he can give from restaurant and will give u back because we sat just front of restaurant but he said we can’t do it it’s not allowed,he was very rude with us he was showing to much attitude it happened before aswell but we just left that time and ignored him and also we felt it’s kind of Racism because we noticed his way of treating people and then later we spoke with another staff member (Chef) and that gentleman very polite and very kind.His way of treating was very nice he said very nicely that you can use and give us back.Overall restaurant staff should learn how to treat people from from him(chef) who know how to treat other people. Thank you
