The best restaurants in Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

Used to be a great summer earing and watering hole. Sadly NO LONGER OPEN.

I recently moved back to Hereford and I am really glad Edison's is still open!! Great breakfast rolls, lovely staff and good value. I like to take my friends here when they come and visit 😁

Such a beautiful find - A very old but super building - simple and clean. Host was very welcoming on arrival and Ellie was so lovely the whole weekend. The room was very light and airy. Drink facilities and the beds were comfortable . The shower was hot and lovely - clean white towels and the continental breakfast was super! Lovely thick yogurts, fresh bread, orange juice all types of tea, coffee, fresh milk, cereal, fresh fruit, croissants in a beautiful room. The chairs and tables are so lovely and fresh with divine fire place. The grounds are stunning and if you don’t find this a little gem then there is truly something wrong. Great service and great food lovley little local chippy

Resting on their laurels -Chips are always ' cold ' and been left long time. Staff more interested in each other than the customers. Fish is ok but not that good. Although the nearest chippy will be trying a different one next time.

Our hot chocolate in cafe was cold.v disappointing.

I like the place; expensive but not overly, considering the size of its grounds. Only had a meal there but all was clean and comfortable. Toilets were excellent, clean and cared for. Only gripe if gripe it be, is that the cajan chicken (for my taste anyway) would have been better served with peas instead of the feathered lettuce that irritates my throat. The cajun sauce was a little above my comfort level and a tad liquid but nevertheless interesting. The chips; very nice. Perhaps if I'm that way again, I might see if they would be wonderfully accommodating and provide some peas.

Came here last Saturday for my birthday meal.. with the family absolutely brilliant it was... Ordered lamb bhuna and butter chicken... Naan was amazing.. The service was brilliant and the manager came to wish me happy birthday.... Best restaurant in Lichfield... Please visit

Visited Monday and Tuesday, no food served. Pretty quiet but everyone friendly and willing to chat. Ate Wednesday, food very good. Lamb shank and steak, both very well cooked, tasty and descent portion size. Would recommend

Great place Shame they have shut down the Beefeater best breakfast anywhere it was always busy as well. Don't know about building a breakfast place inside the hotel seems barmy to me they should take out all the baths & put showers inn. The riims are getting a bit tired still good though

After a visit to Picton Gardens, we enjoyed the opportunity to have refreshments for our group. We had booked ahead and were able to sit at our reserved seats.I enjoyed my cappuccino but did not have any cake. There was a good selection catering for some dietary restrictions.
