Nice staff but the atmosphere and people there are not the greatest kept being pushed around plus glass on the floor everywhere

Standard pub with expensive priced beer

I eat here often when I come into town with my friend. Sue, one of the bar staff, always welcomes us and makes sure that we have everything that we need. The homemade stew is well worth a visit. There is a large selection of drinks, lagers, ciders, beers, and spirits with mixers.

Great little proper pub. Good ale, good atmosphere and a great barmaid. Had an excellent afternoon

Unfortunately, we didn't find the kitchen. We arrived too late. Nice place. A real English pub. The atmosphere is not intrusive. Good selection of alcohol. The music is quiet and does not interfere with communication. The tables are small. But don’t think that you can only come here with a small group.

Never visited before but the pies omg pie chips mushy peas and a cracking pint of HPA served in a traditional glass

Best pie in Hereford. Their mushy peas are also exceptional and worth trying. If I’m in the Hereford town centre & I’m hungry I head towards this place to try their pie and mushy peas. Delicious !

Friendly staff and customers, they specialise in pies , that were very good. Had a good karaoke night going on on night if that 's you thing, seemed to be popular.

Ordered a chicken and ham pie (the ranger) with side of mash on deliveroo, one of the best pies I have ever had!! Was hot and delivery was quick. Will definitely order from here again!!

The Blonde and I ended up in this pub by accident on a Friday night. It had a great atmosphere, and the crowd were very friendly

I posted a negative review last week and it disappeared. Strange that only the good ones stay active.

Never felt strongly enough to write a review previously.....1 star is the lowest I am permitted to award otherwise it would have been lower. Staff rude and only welcoming if you're a regular. Basil Fawlty could probably improve their customer service.

Just order over the phone. Arrived 15 minutes later and the meal was ready. It was excellent I had the Moo and Stilton, mash, mushy peas and gravy. Heaven. Friendly welcome and reasonable price. Recommend

Called in today for a drink and meal. Waited at the bar for over ten minutes to be served, I was the only one waiting. I gave up and left. I went to Wetherspoons where my pint of Carling was £1.25 cheaper and I didn't have to wait.

I have been using this restaurant (Pieminster)for some months. I have just been charged £3.75 for s dessert spoon of peas and a dessert spoon pf mashed potato

'locals' pub with a cosy feel. They specialize in pies. I believe they are award winning. We have eaten here a number of times now and the pies come out piping hot (not microwaved). Served with chips or mash, peas and gravy. Good quality meat used and seasoned to perfection. Comfort food at it's best!

I love pubs, I like a drink as well, but it is the magic of finding a well run friendly pub in a new place that is one of the joys in my life! Hereford is blessed with more than it's fair share and the Queens Arms is yet another. First impressions were of a very old locals pub. It wasn't overly busy and the atmosphere was a little quiet. The service and range of drinks was amazing. I tried a real ale and it was spot on, but for once, it was my wife who was more excited. She started with a gin she had not tried before and then moved on to a pomegranate ceroc vodka. Prices were very good too. It is close to the cathedral in the heart of this beautiful city and is well worth a visit

Very much a locals' pub. Good beer. Service slow. Rammed on Saturday evening. Shut on Sunday lunchtime.

Great olde worlde boozer selling amazing pie, mash, gravy n peas. Great staff. Stayed opposite in red dragon hotel which was dire so used this pub twice. Great at, nice locals , glad you were here! Thank you x

Came across this pub whilst visiting the Cathedral. Warm friendly staff . Best lunch this year. Pie mash and peas . Chilli rice and. chips . Lovely atmosphere . Would have stayed longer but had to get back for parking on long stay car park. Great chef. Very reasonable priced food and drinks. Very dog friendly in the bar. Highly recommended. We will return many thanks Alison and Bren and our two small dogs

2nd visit to Hereford in 3 years how did I not visit this gem before? Had the Moo and Stilton pie with mash and peas. Very good, washed down with Wye Valley HPA ale. Nice inside, plenty of old beams etc. Friendly staff and good prices for food and ales, a must if in Hereford.

We chose to eat in this interesting little pub in the city centre and were very impressed with their pie menu at an incredibly good price. I opted for Steak and Stilton and my wife chose Kate and Sydney (yes that is correct!). The pies were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening in this popular little pub with extremely pleasant staff.

We happened upon this little pub as we were staying at the hotel opposite for the weekend. The staff were fantastic, helpful, efficient and friendly. We thought they only sold pies, but when we asked about a sandwich they brought over the menu - we all had sandwiches, but they were fresh and tasty with salad and coleslaw. And all very reasonably priced, Would definitely return if I was in the area again.

An upmarket yet old fashioned pub and grill. Beer is good quality and the staff are friendly.

Lovely little city pub, quite a local atmosphere and top notch service, the price of cider and spirits isn't too bad, If your local to Hereford I would recommend a visit some time.

Gorgeous pie!! Lovely owners. Only thing I'd say is to go earlier than we did, which was 20.30, as the peas and mash were a little dry. But I'm sure earlier they too would be perfect! We'll definitely be back.

The Queen's Arms is a small pub in the centre of Hereford which on our 3 visits catered mainly for drinkers. When we ate there we sat in a small snug away from the main bar area but you can also eat in the bar....

Lovely hotel but plagued by the screeching of seagulls at all hours.

Friendly staff, food was okay. Don't go if you're looking for a quiet meal out as they seem to do Karaoke every night, but that didn't effect the food. Food was average, nothing special but a nice meal out anyway and the staff were nice.

Well my chick and I had an awesome time on our date night. Great atmosphere with a bit of karaoke. All staff really welcoming and went the extra to help everyone have a lovely time. Please make an effort to support our city centre pubs that have been there for 100s of years. Let's lose no more during our generation. We are losing shops due to the Internet, let's try and hang on to our pubs.

Beer and Cider prices are too expensive in this quaint old city pub , dark and dismal despite the white ceiling ..gents toilet is probably the best part of this old pub.

It's a dive only serve I feel they know you waste of time visiting

Table was sticky, forgot my side order which didn't arrive till half way through. Egg was burnt on bottom and not cooked very well in the white. The chips tasted unpleasant due I think to the oil they were cooked in. Personally I didn't like the layout. I thought it wasnt cozy but they have to do what they can with space allowed. Staff were pleasant though.

Not a nice place unless ur a regular staff won't bother with u not very clean floor always sticky an some of the staff are rude I would not recommend this much better pubs in town with a nicer atmosphere an better staff
