I have lived in Leominster for nearly three years and, to my knowledge, this restaurant has been closed for at least two of them. The place appeared to be undergoing a refurishment for a while but that is no longer the case. No sign of life as of the date of this review.

I stayed here with my husband to attend a friends party on 24th June. I paid for bed and breakfast. Shortly before our stay, the hotel emailed to say they wouldn’t be serving breakfast. Predictably, we were still charged for breakfast and I’ve been fighting ever since to have the extra cost refunded. Now I am just being ignored.

Brother-in-Law's 70th birthday & Family Reunion (post 2020 lockdown!!). Food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Staff went above and beyond. Even decorated the room with balloons and banners. Special thanks to the Waitress who looked after us all evening. (14/8/21)

This is the first time I've visited this place, pity. The place is clean and tidy, we didn't have any trouble getting a table. Service was good, staff very friendly. I had the Cajun Salmon with roasted new potatoes I will definitely be going back for more. Good size portions for the desserts as well. Only let down noisy children two tables down.

Food: The food was quite a letdown. The pies were reassuringly crispy with good pastry, but the filling of the Heidi and Shroom were quite bland and didn’t taste great. The Freeranger was apparently nice. The chips were a bit soggy and cold despite a short drive home, were not seasoned and the oil could have been fresher. The gravy did not taste nice to any of us at all. The mushy peas were decent enough. Portion sizes were large and good value for money (a pie and 2 sides for £10), but not particularly good. All in all, it was a bit of a letdown and I would not order again. Service: The service was not particularly good. Upon arriving I was told it would be an 11 minute wait. It ended up being closer to 20. For the most part there was no-one at the bar, and the guy who was didn’t communicate particularly well, but did warn which bag the gravy was in, so that I did not spill it. More attentive and friendly service would make a big improvement. Atmosphere: The vibe of The Queens arms was quite claustrophobic, largely due to the regulars who were already quite drunk by 7:30pm and very loud. Despite it being largely empty, the tables were quite sticky and could have been cleaned better. They seem to offer a good selection of alcoholic drinks and the pub itself is a beautiful, traditional pub made cosy with fairy lights. However the atmosphere upon entering was quite unwelcoming, particularly in comparison to other Herefordshire pubs.
