Had a lovely hot chocolate and delicious cake with a side of ice cream. We were very well looked after and offered useful local knowledge and recommendations of places to visit.

Had a nice soup, with a cheese scone. Reasonably priced. Courgette cake was nice, not too sweet.

What a lovely little place. Super welcoming, incredibly reasonably priced and all freshly made. Totally vegetarian menu with loads of vegan option. Wish I hadn’t been so full when we arrived, but my husband had a delicious ploughman’s lunch and we both shared a very tasty vegan chocolate icecream. A gem of a find in the wye valley!

We love this place. My wife to be is vegetarian, so to come here and be spoilt for choice with the menu is amazing. I’m not veggie but happily eat here as the food is so good. Plenty to choose from and the cakes are awesome. The staff are lovely and so friendly too. Thank you ladies 😁.

Vegetarian cafe. Sadly, no meat was offered. I wanted a bacon brie and cranberry sandwich and was told we're a vegetarian and vegan cafe. If i go into a normal cafe, they have to have a veggie option. Why is it not the case reversed? Coffee out of a tin. I had a hot jam sandwich as the brie was smeared so thinly, it had disappeared.

Just visited Jacqueline’s cafe in Ross on Wye. The cafe’s ambiance is lovely, very inviting and pleasant, very friendly staff. We ordered the mushroom, onion & leek quiche with a side of salad and balasamic glaze. The quiche was very tasty BUT unfortunately was. more of a child’s portion, than an adults. The ‘side salad’ took up more of the plate than the quiche 😕

Amazing little find, great friendly staff and lovely food. Staff were super helpful and kind, offered us tastes of some of the vegan treats we hadn't tried before. Felt really welcome, and we're so glad we found this place. Four of the 6 of us are vegetarian and it was great to have such a selection of things to eat and drink. Cakes and ice cream were amazing, everyone was super happy with their meals. Would give 10 stars if I could, will definitely be returning here if I'm ever back in the area!

This is a lovely family-run cafe that has been standing in Broad Street for over a quarter of a century. Having recently rediscovered itself as a vegetarian and vegan cafe in late 2021, it caters to those who have, or are, willing to turn over a new leaf (pun intended)! They have a vegetarian menu with vegan options and several also cater to those who are gluten intolerant. Run by two ladies - Nikki and Charmaine, this place has a warm atmosphere and friendly vibes with food that's made with love. Whether you come here for the warm soup or for scones and tea, you will leave with a smile, because of the warmth of the hosts. The light background music means you don't need to shout to be heard across the table. I will be going back again, that's for sure.

There was no pressure to order anything we didn't want to, and no pressure to do anything in a hurry. The food was great - particular shout out for the Himalayan stew!

Came across this great little cafe whilst staying locally for a few days. Outside the front are all kinds of temptations on chalkboards do you don’t have to go inside to see the menu :) We were tempted by the freshly made Welsh Cakes and we had a tea and a coffee too. The Welsh cakes were delicious, served warm with a light sprinkle of sugar - perfect! The cakes look great and are baked locally, one was delivered whilst we were there - and a very smiley lady she was too :) The staff were very friendly and obliging with extra milk for my tea being no trouble at all :) We sat in the window with the shutters open - it was very continental :) The bill was £9.20 which was very reasonable :) Will happily call again, thank you :)

We had absolutely brilliant hot chocolate and cakes. We saw others with soups and they looked soooo good too so will be returning for soup and a scone soon. We had home cooked meals here too pre covid and they are as equally wonderful and tasty with a good choice, highly recommended, toilets available and a number of parking spots close by too

We had a bit of time to kill walking around Ross on Wye yesterday, so decided to grab a hot drink on a cold day. We called into the inviting Jacqueline‘s café for a cup of tea, but having seen the scones and cakes, decided to go the ‘whole hog’ and a bite to eat as well. We had the soups which were great, accompanied by a warm freshly baked cheese scones. The broccoli and stilton soup was amazing as was the fresh mushroom which had a home cooked taste. The staff were lovely, very friendly, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A family group came in just as we were leaving so they quickly rearranged all the tables to provide them with sufficient seating. If you find yourself in Ross and fancy some home-cooked fresh food at a very good price I would strongly recommend Jacqueline‘s Café. And don’t forget, the profits at Starbucks and Costa go to the ‘fat cats’ whereas the small independence struggle to trade through these difficult times.

Four of us visited this place whilst on a visit to Ross on Wye. As we approached it on the street a staff member was just opening the door.. in we went and up the stairs.. the place obviously was empty, there was a bit of a sweaty smell to it but not something I hadn't smelled at clubs before.. we lined up at the bar to check the pulls and we all decided to try the dark fruits cider, there being little else to cause excitment.. at which the woman staff member switched off the pumps and pulls and said bottles only.. Three of us wanted a bottle of JD Tennessee Cider, but alas there was only the one bottle so there being little else I settled for a bottle of 'Hooch' a little odd going for an alcopop, but there really wasn't much selection at all. The lady staff member was pleasant and for the 20 minutes or so we were there it appeared we were going to be the only ones, so we left for pastures new. Strange place.. a club with no beer, well almost.

After a visit to Picton Gardens, we enjoyed the opportunity to have refreshments for our group. We had booked ahead and were able to sit at our reserved seats.I enjoyed my cappuccino but did not have any cake. There was a good selection catering for some dietary restrictions.

I have lived in Leominster for nearly three years and, to my knowledge, this restaurant has been closed for at least two of them. The place appeared to be undergoing a refurishment for a while but that is no longer the case. No sign of life as of the date of this review.

Great place Shame they have shut down the Beefeater best breakfast anywhere it was always busy as well. Don't know about building a breakfast place inside the hotel seems barmy to me they should take out all the baths & put showers inn. The riims are getting a bit tired still good though
