A great Afternoon Tea served by friendly staff in a beautiful location The size of the coffee cups have reduced but the price still remains the same. Still the best place in Ledbury for coffee and cake though !

Nice lunch. We thought there was table service especially when we given a menu at our table and this is what we'd had before. But we were then told we had to order and pay at the till.

Lovely Sunday lunch I had the beef and it was perfectly cooked. The only thing that let it down for me was the vegetables, the broccoli was hard & carrots there's al dente and then there's not cooked hardly at all this was the later.

Stopped for coffee which was fine. Young staff were indifferent & not friendly. I said thanks goodbye twice young guy just looked at me like I was mad. Beautiful building & setting shame about staff

We enjoyed an excellent lunch today. The food was presented well and cooked to perfection. We were impressed with the varied menu. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is full of character. We will be returning when we visit Ledbury again.

Hadn’t been to this place for about 10 years but so pleased we paid it a visit. We ended up sitting at the bar drinking champagne for about 3 hours straight it was so lovely! Great decor and great service.

Popped in for lunch, first time visiting Ledbury. Very nice food with a great atmosphere and very clean staff very pleasant.. we like it that much we Popped back for a glass wine before heading home.

We only called in for coffee, but it was so rambling a place we stayed longer and had a wonderful lunch. Being so popular it took a while to get a table for 4 but we managed it. Food was great and the atmosphere perfect.

Beautifully refurbished and with friendly welcoming staff in a very interesting little town

Good friendly service, a nice place to stay but not so much to eat. We would recommend eating both breakfast & evening meals elsewhere. Our standard room was well appointed, very comfortable bed, Nespresso coffee machine & free bottles of water. Netflix is a happy addition. We found the room very warm even without any heating on, the radiator/ towel rail in the bathroom is permanently on with no option of control & the heat dissipates through to the bedroom. We eventually worked out how to open the window, our room was on the front with street noise starting around 4am. There are nice toiletries but no body lotion. It was rather disturbing that the only place for a long mirror is directly opposite the toilet so we had to remember to close the the door. The WiFi is not secure according to my phone provider. Downstairs the lounge areas are comfortable, & relaxed, tastefully designed. Unfortunately on both days from lunchtime onwards there was a very strong smell of fish in the lounge area which made my husband feel nauseous. All of the staff were helpful, thorough & efficient. Excellent location in the centre of ledbury with limited car parking at the rear.

Coffee House - dropped in here today for a coffee and really enjoyed it. The coffee was good, the seats were comfortable and the staff were attentive and professional. Coffee morphed into lunch (a sandwich) which was fine, and then more coffee. Great place, would return.

We visited for dinner on Saturday at 8pm. We had high expectations as the reviews are good and the menu looked great (with lots of vegan options). The service was good but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food especially for the price. I ordered a jerk jackfruit burger which was frankly inedible. The burger itself was dry and an unappetising grey colour and it did not taste like jerk. The plate was hot and so the salad and coleslaw (which tasted nice) were warm. You can get a better, tastier vegan meal for a third of the price in Wetherspoons. For the meat eaters, the vegetables were poorly cooked and even the chips were not cooked properly. The wait staff were apologetic and the price of the vegan meal was removed from the bill, but overall it was still overpriced for the quality of the meal.

This historic inn has retained much of its character. We enjoyed the friendly service when we had coffee there.

I always like this place and it is a favourite of mine as a place to socialise with friends. I took my wife out today as a local meal out. Generally it was very nice and I will be back. But, the veg in my meal was quite frankly burnt in a way that was disguised. The presentation looked really good and professional. But all of the burned bits were turned in so you couldn’t see them. It wasn’t bad to be fair and the general experience was ok. But Gordon Ramsey would not be impressed.

Great dinner for 14. Very efficient and friendly service and fab food.

Went in for food and drinks on Easter Bank Holiday. Very nice indeed. We will be back when in Ledbury next.

Called in to meet friends. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Decent food but rather expensive. Park your car in council car park next door unless staying as entrance to the Hotel car park rather narrow

Recently spent a fantastic night at the Feathers Hotel... It was Amazing, from lunch through to breakfast it was without fault. Staff polite and very helpful, our room was lovely we couldn't fault it and can't wait to stay again.

The Feathers is a wonderful place to have a social evening. It was busy, with happy chatter and everyone was so obviously having a great time. Our own meals were perfectly cooked and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

As usual, it's a great place to meet for a Social drink.

It's said to be a smart upper end establishment,when I visited for a pint tables were left uncleared and sticky when I did find a seat there was a chip on the floor, while the staff were polite,I didn't find it a particularly inviting place ,and it's a bit pricey as you would expect in a place like this. There is out door seating which is nice in the summer. I'd say keep those tables clear and clean guys , it goes miles

Brilliant team with amazing hospitality!!

The room would have higher, but when an extractor is switched on outside at 6.30 am and no apology apart from it should have been on from 7.30am. That makes it perfectly okay then! Ledbury is a lovely town. However, stay somewhere else unless you are an insomniac

Very confusing place to eat! "Order at the cafe bar" says a sign . You go to the bar to order to be told they will come over to the table to take our order. We wanted to order breakfast / brunch at 10.50 am on a Saturday to be told sorry we have just stopped doing food ???!!. Can we order a tea cake? Hang on I'll just check said the waitress. We were then told yes we could order a tea cake , we also ordered coffee, would have been nice to have jam with the teacake and coffee at the same time as the tea cake. We were not really asking for much but it was all so disappointing. Love the decor but really the whole place needs a deep clean , lovely crockery and Robyn Welsh cutlery (dirty), staff literally running through the cafe, not what you want for a relaxing brunch. From what I saw from those customers lucky enough to have been allowed to order cooked food it did look good. I did check on the website before going but it does not specify timings for cooked food at the coffee shop. It's such a shame as I don't get a chance to go out much and had been so looking forward to meeting my friends for brunch only to be very disappointed. What a shame .

Disappointing. We do like Ledbury, and The Feathers was once one of its top assets. Now with plastic chandeliers, ceiling dusty cobwebs, an unmeasurable amount of dried food down the side of chairs, and flat champagne served in sparkling wine flutes!.. dear'odear what's happened? Also, card only, as though to say, they no longer trust staff with cash! I do hope they can turn this around!

Excellent beverages.. Fantastic menu and good service...just a shame they only take card payments and not cash too...
