What a change for the better. A complete refit. It's now clean, bright, and has a great atmosphere. The refit has upped the mood of the staff, including the chefs, as the food is so much better. Highly recommended.

Wagamama seems to be going the way of a lot of chains at the moment. Quality is dropping every visit. Service is average. This time I had a really flavourless Raman and noodles which were way undercooked. Think it's time to knock this off the quick and tasty list unfortunately. It used to be so good :(

I had a bowl of Japanese ramen in the restaurant. The Japanese ramen tasted average, but the service was good!

Live music was fantastic - probably a special occasion for another group in the restaurant - but it added to a great time.

Always love coming to wagamamas, the staff are really friendly and the food is always fantastic. We usually have ramen dishes but I went for the chicken katsu and was pleasantly surprised.

I have been to many wagas over the past 10 years and I can honestly say this was one of the best. The service from the waitress (I forgot her name but she had ginger hair in a pony tail) was incredible. She was super friendly and had excellent knowledge. The drinks came out super quick as did the food which was lush. It all came out quick and hot which not every wagas can do these days. The manager though wasn’t a huge help. Our waitress went on break and that left the bartender the manager and one other server. The server was polishing cutlery while the manager wasn’t doing much. Standard hospitality though, the servers do all the work while managers do nothing. Other than that it was excellent

Ordered via deliveroo, arrived 20 minutes after placing the order.Food was lovely,I had already put the sauce and onion slaw in the pot for the pic.Would have liked slightly more curry sauce, pots were small.Was lovely to be able to order child size meals just right for this time of night. Would have liked it to be a bit warmer but was still lovely. Will definitely use again .xx

Went in late on a Monday night, lovely atmosphere. The food was incredible. I recommend the gyoza ramen, with rich broth.

Been eating here for 10 years, overall it’s 6/10. Every time you go, the prices have gone up by £1 each (almost every 1-2 months) When the dish is wrong, they take it off the bill ie ordered veg meal but got served chicken one instead etc. Sometimes ordered take out and got home with chicken dish for my daughter, they refused to send a whole new order by delivery, I had to either go back to collect or get a refund through head office. So we think we’d better dine in. You know that their foods come out at different times which means you might finish eating before your friends get their dishes. Steak last week was chewy but other dishes were fine. Honestly Wagamama isn’t my first choice unless my friends and children want to go.

Almost always a guaranteed 10/10 at Wagamama. Been eating at Waggas for over 20 years and they've never really changed the formula..because it works. The Hereford restaurant is no different. Friendly staff, great food.

I had the chance to dine at Wagamama in Hereford and had quite a mixed experience. Let's start with the positives: the food. It was great! Every dish I tried was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the kind of zest you expect from a Wagamama meal. The menu selections were diverse and catered to a variety of tastes, which was much appreciated. However, the service didn't quite match up to the high standards set by the food. It was, for lack of a better word, "meh." Not particularly bad, but it lacked the attentiveness and enthusiasm I’ve encountered at other locations. It was sufficient, but unremarkable. The ambience of the place could do with some attention too. While I'm all for a relaxed dining environment, a good clean and a bit of tidying up would go a long way. It's a bit off-putting to see clutter around, and cleanliness should be a top priority for a food establishment. Additionally, the flickering lights were a distraction. It's these little details that can really make or break the dining experience. In conclusion, while the culinary side of things hit the mark at Wagamama Hereford, there's room for improvement in the overall customer experience. A more spirited service and a spruced-up setting could truly make this place shine as brightly as the flavours on its plates.

Quite expensive but the food was so good.

Food fast out..!!! (little to fast between starter and main) Ordered a chicken dinner, see children amount on the side, meant to be 80gr. Tbf..... After a chat, staff bought extra chicken over. Final solution a* Tasty. Massive Thank you to Cassie

Wonderful experience, amazing food and absolutely fantastic service from Cassie who not only served us well but made our kids feel special too, paying special attention to their requests and answering their many questions. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was just phenomenal. we will definitely be back as a family soon.

Always great food and fast service

Very nice restaurant with quick and very welcoming staff. Food also met my expectations, I Had bowl of ramen and starter and ended up full. The whole restaurant also nice and clean. I'm sure I'll be back.

I order the grilled chicken ramen for delivery tonight and must say I am a bit disappointed. There were hardly any greens in the dish and there was a ball of noodles stuck together at the bottom of the container - felt like they swamped the dish with noodles to compensate for the lack of chicken and greens. I’ve had this dish before dinning in and it was so much better. I won’t be ordering Wagamamas anytime soon.

The food was nice enough but although a popular company I think you can get more authentic food and better value in smaller local restaurants.

It was ok, the portions were good and the food was great. But for someone who is used to eat this type of food I need to say that the flavor isn't what you expect.

Always have a fairly decent time when we visit here! We come fairly frequently because it's cost effective and the food is always good if you stick to what you know/like; I have been burned a few times by trying something new and not enjoying it haha! The service sometimes feels a little impersonal, but they are a busy, fast-paced restaurant, so that's to be expected!

Came here with some of my old friends at the weekend, easily seated the group of 8 of us and catered well. My food was brought out promptly and was the best food ive had in a long time. Only issue is that my wifes meal arrived 20 minutes later than ours. However, keep up the good work!

Can't say ill be rushing back to this branch. Wasn't very busy yet we waited ages to be served and then our food took forever to come. I think our server went on a break as she totally disappeared after we ordered drinks then had to call someone else over to take our food order.

Came in for a quick lunch, food was wonderful, very hot and tasty. Service was also great very attentive!

Went for a meeting possibly not the best choice as far as space is concerned but, other than that, the food was good as was the service.

Almost the same taste like our ramens back home 🥰 my 12-year old daughter loved it here! I wish that the ramens served were a bit hotter though, it was a bit lukewarm when we ate them. But otherwise, our experience was excellent 👌

Server sat at table with us and was invasive of personal space. Lent over us to point to things on the menus, and at one point picked up my phone and moved it with no warning or permission. Food was bought out as and when, no semblance of order, first and last time dining here

Great place as per expectations, had a separate gluten free option, which was great and appreciated. This is located within the shopping mall so plenty of parking and easy to find.

I went to Wagamama yesterday for the first time, my friend took me! I have heard some bad things from people about Wagamamas but I thought it was great! I had Ramen 🍜 and my friend ordered a few starters which tasted amazing!! You also get unlimited free green tea, so I took advantage of that as I love green tea!! 😁 💚

Have tried this Wagamama's on a few occasions sadly they do not provide the quality of food and service that is standard across their other sites? Shame.

Have been here twice now. The service was lovely and very accommodating. They switched my drink to something else when I said I didn't like it. The chef also made me my dish again because it was too spicy for me. Lots of vegan options too, which was great. Would recommend!

Well located good service, what you would expect from a Wagamama

Waited ages for my daughters food which didn’t turn up. Waiter apologised and said he was mistaken when putting the order through and thought I only wanted 2 kids meals with 3 kids sat at the table- that was fair enough but after we all finished they still charged for her food which she had to have as a take out as everyone else had finished eating. One of the starters we had to send back it was cold and soggy meat. First bad meal I have ever had in this restaurant. There were different chefs to usual so maybe a one off.

Bao buns were lovely. Bang bang cauliflower was OK, but not nicely done as other places I've been to.

One of my favourite restaurants to visit. Always so good. Nice and fresh 👍 Also a good vegan options as well. I do like going when it is not so busy.

All the food came together and very quickly. We were served by Matt who was new but extremely friendly and very attentive.

A rarity compared to our previous visits to this restaurant, but it wasn't a great experience for a change. We were greeted and seated promptly, but despite arriving with children we had to flag someone down to actually get a child's menu, for which we were provided 1 between 2 children who both wanted to do the activities on the reverse. The food was served promptly, but without eating utensils, including a lack of chopsticks, so we had to flag someone down again, to then unfortunately find that the rice in each of our dishes was undercooked, hard, and stodgy (I'm aware that sushi rice is meant to be sticky, mind). A visit to the toilet then left us scrounging for toilet paper, for which 3 of the unisex cubicals I checked had none at all - fortunately my child just needed to blow his nose and hadn't gone #2! (Of course I advised a member of staff, for which they were very apologetic, but still). Maybe it was just a bad day?

I have used the place for a year twice a week and I was happy with both service and meals. Two weeks ago, I noticed a change of manager. As my lil girl is GF, the manager in training took the order, while the supervisor chatted away with her colleague. We were served her meal with gluten. She realised because her meal smelled different. That was lucky! The manager apologised and offered anything from the menu free of charge. I thought that was not the point. Today, we wanted to eat there again, but I decided to leave as the same people seemed to ignore us, some walked aimlessly with unkempt uniform, passed by our table and kept taking other tables order despite coming well after us. Shame, as I believe that the atmosphere is ruined by the sluggish service.

It's a nice place to have some good food with conversation at sensible levels. Quality, service and clean. Recently revisited for another quick meal and the rather precise requirements by a small person were catered for with enthusiasm.

Had a lovely lunch. Have not been here for 3+ years! What a change. Lots of vegan and gluten free options. 50% plant based menu!!! I’m not vegan but tried the vegan egg - very nice. Delicious lunch. Only thing I don’t like is everything came at once - entree and main. Will order separately next time. Payed by QR code. All very high tech. Gluten free was very nice too. Very enjoyable lunch!

Brought me my dish with two key parts missing without mentioning. Guess they hoped I wouldn't notice. Waiter was helpful which is why they get 3 not 2!

I have eaten at this particular wagas 6 times in the past 15ish months and always found it excellent. Not so good this time. No squid, no prawns (in a Japanese restaurant-really!?) ordered a chicken dish for my daughter that became 'unavailable' after ordering. 1 dish (of 8) delivered to the table 15mins before any others. I was told that the food was cooked fresh to order. We ordered at the same time, can't they cook it at the same time so we can eat our food together? Was given a drink and a dish free to compensate but simply not good enough IMHO. Food was great, dining experience not so much. Disappointing.

Great service. The guy on the front desk was particularly brilliant. They had run out of the chilli squid which was disappointing.... but we had the vegan 'squid' instead.... which was exceptional!

Staff need to be educated on consent! I'm a delivery driver, this is my experience at Wagamama Hereford. I collect food and the server takes my phone and starts using it, without asking me, without warning, without consent. The server was wearing a bi-flag lanyard, and I'm shocked that a fellow member of my community would have such little regard for another human's personal space, and belongings. The server seemed stressed and way too busy, an apology would have been fine. I told them that it wasn't ok, explained that you do not touch a person or their belongings without consent and was met with "yeah, I need to get the order some quick" I left feeling dehumanized, degraded, and disrespected. Like I was "just a delivery driver" not a fellow human

Nice, but bit expensive for what you get

Wow wow wow wow , where do I start. First of all, on arrival the table cleaner Matthew was so polite and working slightly hard. Then we were seated by Rosie with efficiency and intent to provide a great service . My friend had a nut allergy and he was treated like a king from the chef with the green hair net. Then Jaimee served us . What an absolutely darling and brought a smile to our faces, especially Rhys. She also provided great detail on the menu due to my fussy friends. All in all , I don’t often give out 5 stars but this place and these staff. Wow . Well done Matthew, Jaimee, Rosie and the rest of the staff we didn’t get to meet. Love, love, love wagamama's. Have been to a few around London which are always great, but this Hereford restaurant is tip top for me. Great service, great food.

Tasteless dry chicken. Noodles were like gunk. Never again. Poor value for money. We barely ate any of it. Only good thing was it was delivered on time.

Had a lovely meal here today, the food was perfect as always and also had the most loveliest waiter Ben, was so friendly and welcoming and great to talk to, with always a smile on his face and excellent service! x

The food was pretty OK what spoilt our meal was how our food came. By the time the last plate was served, the first plate of food served had been finished. Im not sure if that's how they do it there. But I'm used to my groups orders arriving so we can dine together instead of watching someone else eat

The food is very mediocre as was the service, I was disappointed with my dish, it was very dry and hard to chew.
