We went on the bank holiday Monday, very popular cafe with bikers, in fact it was full of bikers to the point where I had to queue for 15mins just to have a pee bcuz there was 5 bikers Infront of me who bought 1 cuppa and needed the loo.
The food we had was tasty, I had the tomatoe & basil soup, it comes with a thick slice of bread, it would of been nice to have some butter on the bread! We also had onion rings which where very nice and a portion of chips, if you could call it a portion, they came in a tiny dish and must of been 10 thin chips in them (you get more fries at any fast food outlet)
My partner had a cheese & coleslaw sandwich, I would of thought for the price it would of come with a few crisps & maybe a garnish but no! It was literally just the sarnie on the plate.
We both had a coffee each and when they came I thought we were on a water shortage! The small cups where only half full, I was just about to tell the waitress that we ordered americano and not espresso.
We paid £30 for a cheese sandwich, a bowl or tomato soup, 5 onion rings and a handful of chips (that's being generous) and 2 coffee's, at that price tag I would of thought some butter on the bread a few crisps & garnish on the sandwich would of been appropriate.
Nice place but definitely run to make the biggest profit they can, shame really as it's a nice little cafe.
My friends and I went tonight and we watched the man blow his nose and then touch our straws when making the milkshakes, another man emptied the bins and continued to make puddings without washing his hands, they used water only to clean their utensils. Didn’t help that it took ages for them to make! Utterly disgusting! Put us off our milkshakes so we ended up leaving them!!! Never go here unless you want to catch an illness !
Used this place many times with no issues.
Called in tonight and watched 3 staff argue and shout at each other for 5 minutes.
Then gave up and left.
Hence one star, I ate nothing, how can it he higher?
My custom should not inconvenience their night.

Came here with my friend and we think this is the best Greggs in Uttoxeter, great service, staff are VERY friendly, great selection of food and drinks and very comfy.
We use this place regularly for Take-out and have never had a bad meal - chicken always cooked well and very flavourful.
Good portion sizes for the price too and never encountered a rude staff member.
Delivery was an hour late the first time we ordered but was piping hot when it arrived - never been late since.
Was very quick upon request, beans were warm toast was ok, however the sausage was raw, the eggs tasted like petrol& the cheese in the oatcakes was uncooked, we had to cook them ourselves when we took it home and the cheese had a powdery texture to it. Everything was burnt on the outside.
On arriving at the pub we ordered 1and1/2 pints of larger shandy the barman poured half a pint of larger with a dash of lemonade, when questioned he thought that was a larger shandy he proceeded to pull the pint of larger shandy virtually filled the glass with just larger, when l stopped him and said l ordered larger shandy he wasn't sure how to proceed he had to ask his colleague to take over, who then spent next 5 minutes to top up the 3/4 pint of larger with lemonade it continued to flow over as it was far to frothy this was very embarrassing
I also ordered a tango orange and was advised it could only be done out of the tap it was served in a 1/2 pints glass and charged me £10.55 what questioned the price l was told the fizzy orange out of the dispenser was charged at £3.50 due to the above experience l wouldn't recommend anybody to visit this pub unless they have an experienced staff
Another couple who were at the bar was astounded at the price of a glass of pop
