We went on the bank holiday Monday, very popular cafe with bikers, in fact it was full of bikers to the point where I had to queue for 15mins just to have a pee bcuz there was 5 bikers Infront of me who bought 1 cuppa and needed the loo. The food we had was tasty, I had the tomatoe & basil soup, it comes with a thick slice of bread, it would of been nice to have some butter on the bread! We also had onion rings which where very nice and a portion of chips, if you could call it a portion, they came in a tiny dish and must of been 10 thin chips in them (you get more fries at any fast food outlet) My partner had a cheese & coleslaw sandwich, I would of thought for the price it would of come with a few crisps & maybe a garnish but no! It was literally just the sarnie on the plate. We both had a coffee each and when they came I thought we were on a water shortage! The small cups where only half full, I was just about to tell the waitress that we ordered americano and not espresso. We paid £30 for a cheese sandwich, a bowl or tomato soup, 5 onion rings and a handful of chips (that's being generous) and 2 coffee's, at that price tag I would of thought some butter on the bread a few crisps & garnish on the sandwich would of been appropriate. Nice place but definitely run to make the biggest profit they can, shame really as it's a nice little cafe.

Waited 45 minutes still no sign of breakfast had to ask for it to be boxed up could not wait any longer, ridiculous amount of time, unacceptable. They were apologetic but that's not realy satisfactory after paying nearly £30 for 2 breakfasts with coffees only to have to take it away and re heat it.

Visited at lunchtime and disappointed by the limited menu so opted for a breakfast. Quick and friendly service and a very good breakfast with quality ingredients. If wanted breakfast would return.

I've been a few times now and the food and service has been faultless. The breakfasts are perfect and non greasy. The lunches are to die for. They even went out especially to purchase a cucumber for my daughters take-away lunch. This is definitely the best place on Swad to go for nice, tasty food and in a clean, tidy environment and with excellent customer service!

It's sad to see that any mention of a critical review of this cafe is deleted or managed. This does not give a true picture of this establishment and management. I had visited this cafe for 8 years when new management took over. I thought the change was very good. Until I met the bearded manager who was offended because he got our order wrong and refused to serve us. He gets his large circle of friends to put in reviews to push my review into history. Beware of being disabled or have a different accent he won't like you in his cafe.

I went to the cafe, as I was in the shop anyway. The staff were being very loud and I heard them being nasty about someone, who I assume must be the owner. They were taking loud and it was unpleasant to hear.

Met here recently with a friend who has been before, couldn’t recommend more! The service was brilliant, excellent covid measures in place. The food selection is great, I ordered Eggs Benedict while my friend ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. The bacon is lovely and thick, and my friends bread was fresh, thick cut loaf. We both purchased cakes to go as we were so full from lunch, both of which were delicious. Will definitely be returning!

I met here with a group of friends and couldn’t wait after seeing the pictures on Facebook. I had a doorstep bacon and cheese splash. The bread was so fresh and the bacon was very thick and tasted delicious! We had cups of tea and had the pot refilled a number of times at no charge which was a great touch. The cafe itself was clean and modern with a busy buzzing atmosphere. We all somehow managed to squeeze in dessert. The cakes etc look amazing and it was very difficult to decide what to have! I opted for the Easter egg filled with cheesecake, creme egg and mini eggs! I also took one home for my husband. These were as tasty as they looked but couldn’t finish in one sitting. Priced at £4.95 some of my group thought they were expensive but as a treat I felt it was worth it. I will definitely return to sample other items on the menu and would highly recommend visiting here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight problem was that the card machine wasn’t working but you could make payments using PayPal or bank transfer.

A dad - Daughter night out. As always there is plenty of seating and wheelchair friendly. Staff friendly but Mawema was the star of the team - if only every server on every eatery had what she had…… Been a Nando’s fan for years. Started with olives and garlic - pity there was no garlic - told this is how they are received.. Spiced nuts. Went for the chicken liver starters with fresh bread roll. Livers were lovely - don’t be put off by liver, sadly a cold Bread roll and no butter ! Hate asking staff to make good an order. Shared a chicken platter with a salad. The fries arrived warm but not the usual crispy finish! Although I have moaned a bit, Nando’s still offers what it says on the can - easy, family friendly menu.

Visited today at lunch time new menu launch, although busy service was very quick, it was really hard to choose but we went for the steak ciabatta and the blt hotdog both arrived in less than 30 minutes, my daughter and I shared so we could sample both and both meals were absolutely stunning and excellent value, staff as usual are fantastic and very friendly can’t wait to go back, highly recommend

Usually a top place to eat. Cafe staff are exceptional as are most the staff there, with the exception of Mr Vest the store manager. But on this occasion there was a bird flying around the store. I didn't realise until id finished my coffee and cake. They were still selling food and beverage to be consumed on site with a bird in store.

My friends and I went tonight and we watched the man blow his nose and then touch our straws when making the milkshakes, another man emptied the bins and continued to make puddings without washing his hands, they used water only to clean their utensils. Didn’t help that it took ages for them to make! Utterly disgusting! Put us off our milkshakes so we ended up leaving them!!! Never go here unless you want to catch an illness !
