Did a uber eats order to Alton Towers Splash Landing and was amazed by how big the portions were for such a sum. The grill was amazing to taste and well presented in the 9inch box.

We order from grillways a few times a month. The food is always great. I also think the deliver drivers are amazing, they are always so friendly and polite. I recommend these guys 100%.

Been using for a while food as always been to standard the only problem is it's always late which I can handle but when they are 45 minutes late and you ring up and all they can say is what do you want me to do about it and you say I am a regular so some money back or something and they say all I can give you is a slice of cake hahahha what a joke especially when the manager and phone man was very rude on the phone can honestly say they have lost a regular customer

We had two of their hamburgers and thought they were very good ...super patties, good bun and very nice salad inside. Good value and helpful staff.

Last 4 times we ordered to be delivered to work, all 4 times we t to the wrong place (even with precise instructions), so food cold and delivered after break time, can't comment on food quality as never had food fresh or hot!!

This is without a doubt the worst takeaway I have ever spent £40 on, bad attitude from the staff over the phone, no salad in wraps or kebabs, no sauce, no love gone into it at all, disgraceful, the paper wrapping tasted better!!!!!!

Visited this place while staying at alton towers with the family can honestly say one of the best tasting pizzas I have ever had.The kids also loved the milkshakes I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Top quality food and service at very good prices

We came across Grill Ways as we were looking for a halal takeaway while staying at Alton towers. I have to say the food was superb and great price compared to London price hike. We had a huge mix grill, burger and milkshake. We all enjoyed the meal and the owners really took care of us and spoke to us in a very friendly manner. It was a 15 min drive from Alton but worth the drive as food in the theme park is expensive and they don't really cater for halal. The plus point is they having seating and you can relax and enjoy your meal. We will be going back here for the duration of our stay!

Food was cold when it came, had to microwave the chicken tikka masala and the curry didn't taste like Indian it was like a sweet and sour sauce which isn't what I expected. The chips were soggy Nd the rice was wet and all mushed together. The garlic nan bread was mashed together and wet as well. It was like it was rising inside of the bag. I do not recommend I had a bad headache after

Food here is absolutely delicious, we sat in and had kebabs, I had the chicken tikka one with garlic mayo, it is really really tasty,, my sister had the donner kebab with sweet chilli sauce,, good big portions too,, so much that I couldn't finish it there and then, so took the rest with me to finish later on. Too good to waste, 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Our bank statements show that we was over charged for our meal and when the delivery driver turned up he snatched the receipt off our delivery trying to hide it, the receipt says different as what we was charged online, this company is trying to deny it and was arguing against is even tho they was wrong, this is discusting and we will not be ordering with you again, I recommend people do not order a take away as they rob you blind!!!

Ordered chicken donner kebab and a donner and chips to take away. Whilst the order was mistaken and I didn't get my chips, i phoned and was told I wasn't charged for chips. They offered to send chips for free regardless! The food was superb and had to admit I didn't actually need the chips! Reason for posting is that the food is great and the people are greater. It's refreshing to find people prepared to go above and beyond what's expected. 😁

Really good service and enormous portions but the food is what you'd get at any other takeaway. The menu is also massive too though! Despite the food quality (which is still good, just not mind blowing) Grillways comes highly recommended! Good value for money too!

Poor service 3 hrs waiting for a delivery turned up cold and wrong. Tried calling numerous times either rang out or engaged when finally got through no apology for delay told me food would be hot . Dont waste your money go else where

Freezer cold ! 1.5 hours late , replaced it and was over cooked and hard .... perfect if your a bear to rip thru there hard crust , when complaining they spoke to my partner like she was nothing but a piece of sh*t so I went down to their shop and they was like what’s wrong with it! I was like look at it is black ! Then there manager apologised and said he’d sort there staff out , we're done with them , please try find an alternative takeaway, it’s not worth 1 star food ,

Had takeaway delivery last night, the burger buns were hard around the edges, and chips were soggy, the garlic bread was delivered 20minutes AFTER everything else and it was stone cold and rock hard. Complained to the shop and requested a refund for the garlic bread to be told no as it was part of a deal and they would do something for me when I next ordered. Appaling attitude, awful food and will not be using them again. Only saving grace is it was delivered quickly in the first instance.

Have ordered from here many times, tonight they delivered the order without cheese (which yes, I had to pay for cheese). I call to fix the issue and have it delivered again with cheese this time and the guy on the phone was so rude and said he didn't want to bring it back and "can we just do the cheese for you next time?" uhh... So after I told him I payed for it I want the right meal delivered he proceeds to demand the old food back. I'm not sure what his plan for the food I gave back to him was as I've never been asked for food back.... Delivery driver is nice, but the management is horrible and if they mess up your order they expect you to just deal with it.

I was wondering the streets of Uttoxeter looking for quick bite, after a long evening at the Alton Towers Resort, I was a greeted by a lovely facade of a building, with the words “Grill Ways” wonderfully lit on the front. This establishment seemed very inviting at first, but it soon took a turn for the worst. We entered the door, and as soon as we entered we felt in danger. We had to duck under live wires feeding a fused spur outlet. If you thought that was bad, then we had to weave our way round the many cardboard boxes in the way of getting to the counter. You are probably asking why we didn’t leave at this point? We felt bad, there was no other customers and we were starving. We then looked at the menus on the screens what were nicely presented to be fair, but was riddled with bad grammar. We were aggressively asked by the guy what we wanted to order before even taking a peep at the menu. Once we decided on what we wanted to eat, we asked to pay with card but they said “cash only”. Tax avoiding obviously. Once we ordered our food we sat on some cushioned seats with holes in and all sorts, food came and I had a Piri burger that tasted as spicy as a Mc Chicken from Maccies. So that was horrible. We all ordered a meal what included a drink, but they would only let us have a Pepsi, for health reasons my friend can only have sugar free drinks, so he had to barter with the staff what’s disgusting to gets a sugar free drink. The staff were rude, they weirdly had a picture of a London backdrop in the shop, with Uttoxeter written on it, like they are different places lol, place was a mess, never again.

Terrible. Pizza dough tastes like cardboard, the cheese they use seems to be cheap and gross. My partner has the kebabs and says they're alright but it's nothing to shout about. We don't order from here anymore.

Probably one of the worst kebab meat and chips I have ever had!...Grease just dripping of the chips and the palest most weirdest kebab meat I have ever had.I sat there looking at the decor as I waited what a total disgrace if I was a hygiene inspector I would close the place down...Stay Away!!!

First time I tried Grill Ways asked for chilli sauce on a kebab did not get it (minor issue), second time I visited got the chilli sauce but no salad as requested - give what the customer asks for please!!

Arrived early! Looked on TripAdvisor for local takeaways that we could use whilst visiting the local area that would suit everyones prefered food. We found your place and placed a order of a curry/rice/nann amd a set burger meal. WOW HOW BIG the portions were outstanding. Tasted amazing. Delivery man was so lovely. Thanks again

I ordered a takeaway about a month ago. I rang them up asking where my order was they told me it will be there soon it was 2 hours late so I rang them back they told me they will give me 50% off next time I order so I went to order again tonight and they wouldn’t give my 50% as they promised. So I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one as it’s a absolute joke. Sergeant peppers me for know on!!!

Great for a quick meal if your in town, also great to order in. Best thing about it is that it's open late so you can go when you have been out or just fancy takeout.

We order regularly from here and is our go to takeaway. Food is good and priced reasonably. We've had the odd item missed from our order but generally we have no complaints.

Ordered over the Internet, food was waiting at the time stated and was still hot by the time we we got home. Plenty for your money, around £20 for 5 of us, no one could eat everything in front of them. Mixed kebabs were as good as mixed kebabs can be, chips were so so but the kids didn't seem to mind and they ate all of the chicken. Not bad at all for a takeaway.

I love this place. The food is delivered fast and is always hot and fresh. The delivery drivers are very pleasant and the menu is so vast! I don't order take away from any other place in uttoxeter.

We have used this take away since it opened and have always been very happy with the food we ordered, but in the last few months the quality had really slipped! Everything we've ordered recently has been disappointing. It doesn't look fresh or appetising. We sent a chicken dish back to them as it was all dried up and looked like it had been sitting in a hot cabinet for hours. I don't know what's changed recently but we won't be ordering again.

Ordered through Just Eat and they didn't even turn up. The Indiana around the corner has nicer food and a reliable delivery service.

Ordered my takeaway through the Just Eat app. I ordered at 9:17pm, they 'confirmed' my order and by 10.30pm I still hadn't received it! I made a phone call at this time and was told that my order hadn't even been printed and wasn't even started! I told them to forget it but was abruptly told 'it'll be there it ten minutes' which, after fifteen, it was. The food, when it FINALLY arrived was piping hot and tasty but I suggest management review their procedures and the attitude of some of their staff.

Just received my order garlic mushrooms and a cheese burger and chips all my food was stone cold and my garlic mushrooms had a scami in with them I'm elergic to fish so did not eat the mushrooms 😞

Visité aquí anoche alrededor de las 6:30 pm para una comida. Me apetecía un curry y me alegré cuando hicieron un North Indian Chili pollo al curry por £6.30 arroz incluido. Me esperaba una estrecha porción por el precio, pero al final me dieron una porción decente de buen tamaño para el precio. Fue una gran curry también y muy sabrosa. El servicio era rápido y amable, y a pesar de estar en el centro de la ciudad aparcamiento gratuito era abundante. Hay una gran variedad en el menú, volveré si alguna vez estoy en la zona y lo más probable es que el pollo piri piri piri piri

so we stayed in primer inn after visiting alton towers for the day we ordered around 8pm so not to late it was delivered around 8.50pm went outside to meet the man when we got the kebabs back to the room there was hardly any salad in the kebabs the chilly sauce was missing the kebab was soggy it was rank!!! we rang back up the man on the phone was rude said the only thing h would do is send more salad and sauce it came 45 minlate by then our food was cold waste of money u spoiled part of our trip

Just had a terrible experience from Grillways, ordered through justeat, pizza arrived and it was wrong. I called through to tell them they'd delivered the wrong thing, and he said that no, it was right. I told him I ordered Chicken supreme, he told me I was wrong and had ordered a four seasons, but it's ok because it's the same! He then told me I shouldn't order through just eat and that he was really busy with orders and what did I want him to do about it?! He eventually said he would send a replacement, but didn't send it. The phones are now going straight to voicemail. Shocking way to treat your current customer base with the arrival of Dominos in the town imminent...

Well cooked, hot, delivered on time.Tastes good and the curly fries are a treat.App is making me write more so here goes. Watching Glastonbury on the beeb, Kate Tempest is on she's pretty good, nothing to do with the food but now I can save this.

Me and my boyfriend have had a Grillways take away a few times and 9/10 take aways its always been good, my boyfriend loves the value chicken and chips box and always has curly fries instead of standard chips. I like the pizza especially the Asian pizza it's spicy but not too much and the piri piri chicken is lovely too!

Most of the time the food is delicious and arrives really quickly, however once in a while you do get a bad order where it is still nice but not up to usual standards. The pizza from here is the best from any takeway in uttoxeter.

Just had a take away from here. Awsome. The daal was well cooked and full of flavour. The madras is hot,sharp and powerfull. Pizza red hot and crispy. I eat a lot of take outs from uttoxeter. Really well done worth every penny.

This takeaway does amazing pizzas & kebabs but I have to say my favourite is their cheesy garlic bread, amazing! Food is good quality & fresh. Lovely staff, especially the chap who gave me a brittle of water to try & stop my attack of hiccups! Thank you! Recommend highly.
