Monmo's Peri Peri Grill in East Staffordshire

Guys from work had a treat for doing great work and picked this place.. The kebabs were absolutely shocking period No meat No salad !!!!!!!!! Naan was hard 90 quid order for substandard food is unacceptable Will not ever go back and nor will my company

Rang for a table told they will reserve 1 for me and my family, which was obviously denied at arrival. Training issues definitely, boast a big seating area however barely fit more than 10 tables. After 2 hours waiting we got seated annoyed and angry at some bold ex gangster claiming to be the owner (due to his behaviour), was very very rude. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Then my family was sat with children all I could here is the f word amongst staff. Clearly novices. Food was good but definitely average. Never going again!! Can't charge RITZ prices and deliver McDonald's service.

Absolutely disgusting service. Food took 2hrs 10 mins to arrive. 4 different phone calls to the shop where the person on the phone told me each time that the driver was minutes away. Over 2 hours later the driver said it had nothing to do with him and extremely rude. The person on the phone who I presume is the owner (?) appeared that he couldn’t care less. Finally when the food arrived it was cold, as to be expected when it appears to be in transit for 50 mins. The chips rolled into a tight ball the size of your palm. Do not order from here unless you want your evening ruined waiting hours.

Two hours for a pizza delivery on a Sunday , two miles away. Cold food. Rude delivery driver. Save your money and don’t bother

Really nice food, Masalla fish was amazing as well as the dinner meat. Best place for food in Burton. Service was really good and food prepared promptly

First time we have tried here for kebabs but went on a recommendation from a friend. Weren't disappointed, place was clean and tidy, friendly staff and absolutely delicious chicken tikka kebabs! The whole family devoured them, we all highly recommend this place for kebabs

We went on a Friday evening and decided to eat in, very busy but despite this food was excellent and good service.

I had my food bags ripped and sauce all over the place when I opened my food it was like a scrap yard the chips where like a tennis ball and the food was all slimy

Enjoyed the food since we have moved here tried few places and can say this is far better than the rest it’s nice and clean staff is polite good mix of burgers steaks pizzas donner kebab, so far we have tried their pizzas lamb donner beef burger and chicken parmasen and we enjoyed everything, We wish all the best to the team

We've just had a delivery from Monmo's and we were so impressed with the quality of the food. Frankly, I don't know how they do it for the money!Half a chicken from many establishments is something resembling half a sparrow. Not from Monmo's - the portion was equivalent to half a supermarket medium to large chicken. It was cooked to perfection and to exactly the right level of spiciness ordered. All the sides were also delicious and very generous.Monmo's was originally recommended to us by a driver from New Street Taxis. You can eat in but I think most of their business is takeaways or deliveries. They are always busy. The staff who take the orders are most efficient and helpful, we've never had anything missing from our orders. We are privileged to have this business in Burton upon Trent.

Monmo were recommended by a family member,recently and were delighted with the food and the cleanliness of the shop. the staff were pleasant and helpful we have returned several times and tonight decided to order a meal by delivery.the food arrived promptly and was delicious.we will definately continue to use this service,Thank you Monmo's

One of my favourite food house always on point. The food is excellent grilled food at its best i do recommend the Tbone steak and various other items of the menue.Staff are very good experienced friendly The place caters for kids Very clean place always good atmosphere Never has this place disappointed me.

Simply poor. Very little salad, long Waiting time, even had to wait for them to pay, very slow ignoring service

I’ve had quite a few different meals from here, all were really nice. If you’re at the Travelodge it’s worth a visit. Try the chicken tikka or a burger with fries. The shawarma was a bit bland in comparison to the tikka.

Was recommended by a friend and will be the only kebab shop I use in Burton from now on. Well priced and well cooked what more could you want from a kebab shop.

nice restaurant with efficient service, pretty reasonably priced. had a mixed chicken meal, only thing that would need improving are the fried, will definitely be visiting again to try something else.

Had a takeaway from them before. This time the food was cold and chicken was really hard so I threw it straight in the bin and called them.

We came to Monmos for the first time last Friday evening as a special after school/half term treat for our 4 children. We had never been before but have driven past and saw how enticing and bright it looked from the outside and after seeing the menu, we couldn’t wait to go in!

After a busy weekend my wife and I dropped in for an evening meal. We were not disappointed. We ordered the sizzler and they were great, one with rice the other with chips. Both were great and I would say probably the best dish they do.

Good price in their defence. Fries were too salty and dry. Burger sauce was watery and most dripped out during eating. Fine as a snack for the price. Perhaps the borough road one is better, this is the branch round the corner from that.

I tried this place after using the same kebab shop for years, but the past two orders really disappointed me so decided to try monmos. I cannot believe how amazing and tasty the food is for so cheap! I had a mini combo deal which was half a chicken, chicken wings, chips, salad and dips, it was massive, I couldn't eat all of the chicken and there were loads of chips, would have fed two people easily, the chicken tasted amazing and chips lovely, all of that for £5.50!

The best non chain pizza, kebab, wrap place in Burton (and there are many). Pizzas are tasty and cheap compared to dominoes & papa johns. Wraps also good. Not tried the peri peri chicken.

Burger, Pizza, and Chicken really good, been here many times but this is my 1st review, freiendly staff, good service, diverse clientele, a real Jem.

First time I've are from here and all I can say is it's worth every penny. Great quality for a cheap price you can't go wrong

Great Food, Nice Staff. Have eaten from here on a number of ocassions. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Food is awesome, pizzas are great.
