The best restaurants in Alvechurch Bromsgrove West Midlands

Little disappointed. My family treated me for my birthday. I ordered pork lion. Most disappointing, dry and luke warm, didn't feel freshly cooked! Roast pots were OK, hot and too well done. We asked for water "for the table" which was just plonked on the nearest spot to where server could see, with the glasses topped on one another. Not good! Consequently very little room for vegetables etc. No one checked to see if we were happy with food. Was disappointed with set menu too. This is not notified on website. One choice for vegetarian. Also no nonalcoholic drinks. Will not be returning.

Absolutely superb service, I came in at 21:30 which was closing time and still got served with a smile. Great people working there, they deserve all the best.

New menu with a wide choice, nicely presented and reasonably priced. Was good before but even better now! Remains dog friendly and recently decorated so all good for a relaxed bite to eat in a nice environment.

Limited menu, slightly expensive. Food is very good quality, large portions. Lovely view over the 18th hole

The worse cafe i have ever visited. I don't even know where to start, I asked for a sausage sandwich and the waitress said she would have to order me toast and a side of sausage and I'd have to make it myself. For some strange reason she couldn't ask the chef to make me one, it arrived and the toast was cut in to triangles, the sausage was not pork, just some deep fried mush which was inedible. They state a full ENGLISH breakfast but don't serve bacon or pork sausage? I'm not sure where in England serves a full ENGLISH without pork products but also fail to state anywhere that its turkey bacon and non pork sausages, they list goes on, 8 of us met for a family breakfast and only 1 of the 8 orders arrived correctly. 25 minute wait for a flat white, just absolutely horrendous. Avoid.

La alfombra también necesita ser rasgada. ¡Arregle el lugar con algunos colores brillantes! Aparte de eso, todo lo demás estaba bien. Servicio agradable?

Probably the best beer festival in the world

Nos detuvimos aquí en unas estrechas vacaciones en barco. En primer lugar, esto no es un pub junto al canal. Es un restaurante sin orientación al canal. Viniendo del canal / puerta trasera, no se ve el cartel de "por favor espere a estar sentado". Nos sentamos en una mesa numerada vacía sin signo de reserva, pero nos dijeron que estaba reservado. Tuvimos que movernos y la mesa original nunca fue ocupada. Lo mismo le pasó a otra pareja. Mientras tanto, la mayoría de las mesas estaban desocupadas. El servicio no era amable y la comida no era notable.

Great place for a meal, at the time I was there it was quite quiet. The staff were Very friendly and the food was good and reasonably priced.

The cake was stale, most of my requests were out of stock, and the service was slow for a drive thru. Don’t bother.

Was served by a girl called Mia , great service lovely friendly and welcoming , lovely establishment nice and clean and asking staff will come back!

Toilets always dirty and hand dryers never working.

This is a pub we go to a lot for a drink & the odd meal Booked in for Saturday afternoon for late lunch with family Only 4 out of 5 meals were served after a long wait so I waited for mine rehire they had theirs I used to have the cannelloni with salad & garlic bread which was gorgeous. This time it came with chips & garlic bread but no salad & was average One of my boys had the fish & Chips but they put the tartare sauce on the plate rather than in a separate pot which he wasn’t happy about I’ll stick with having a cheese cob with my cider as the food is really not worth the money so I’ll go elsewhere It’s a crying shame because it used to be lovely, I can only guess the chef has changed & he can’t be bothered I do not recommend eating at this pub 🫤

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to an event. To call this place “The hood breakfast” should be a crime under the trade description act! It’s the worst breakfast I’ve had in 53 years of my life! It should have been telling the way the server was throwing together the previous persons breakfast bap, dry bun being manhandled with no care at all that someone has to eat it. We ordered 2 x veggie breakfast with toast and tea.. £28 for what can only be described as inedible rubbish..I would have thrown it back but would have been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon if the hash browns had hit anyone, they were harder than a house brick. This place should be ashamed to provide such awful food at extortionate prices
