One of my favourite curry houses in the country ! Raja and his team go over and above every time. Small, intimate, welcoming, exceptional food and ambiance. A must-visit. But be careful - you may well become addicted like me !

Proper old school pub, welcoming with a good selection of beer and wine and competitively priced. Highly recommend

Excellent place to eat and drink. All of the staff are so friendly and the service is first class . The owner makes you feel very welcome. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place to eat and drink. 10/ 10

Always order from here, but tonight, the chips tasted different. Almost like an "old oil" kind of taste. Didn't enjoy it as much :(

Totalmente sobresaliente Comimos aquí hace unos 18 meses y estábamos horrorizados por la calidad y el servicio. Los nuevos propietarios han transformado el lugar. Una cálida bienvenida gran servicio y una decoración atractiva. Pero la comida roba el espectáculo. Hace unos años este lugar tenía una estrella Michelin. Podría estar en camino de reclamar eso. Nunca fotografiamos comida, pero estuvimos cerca de hacerlo aquí. Parecía demasiado bueno para comer. Un entrante de burrata en una base de tomate hereditario fue un buen giro en la caprase de insalata y el salmón era aparentemente increíble también. Los principales de pato eran igualmente sobresalientes tanto visualmente como en términos de sabor. ¡Los postres tendrán que esperar hasta la próxima vez! Una pequeña selección de vino por copa pero muy bien elegido.

Tasty homemade food and cakes. Great service and we just love going there. We are always made very welcome when we visit.

What a lovely hidden gem, just 20mins from Shrewsbury. This was our 2nd visit for the Sunday carvery and it definitely didn’t disappoint. All three generations loved the food and the atmosphere was lovely, bright and welcoming. The staff couldn’t do enough for us! Especially, my elderly parents. It’s unusual to get Lamb on a carvery and it was cooked to perfection. As were the accompaniments. The puddings were also very tasty too. Will definitely return - just wish they had a website, so I could see what other food they offer besides Sunday dinners!

Usually good but had It delivered late and it took over a hour despite being a small order and only being 10 minutes away, (walking). The takeaway man then went to the wrong house which I get but he also knocked their doors and waited outside... be better if they would double check which numbers they're delivering as it was embarrassing due to nasty neighbours

Pre ordered a takeaway Steak & Kidney pie with homemade chunky chips, minted mushy peas and beef gravy at a set time. When I arrived there was barely any wait which was great. Got home and the food was piping hot. A great portion size. Had to have a lie down after 😂 The minted peas were a really nice touch. Food can be ordered to eat in to if you fancy a nice pint with your food. Well done Team Star ⭐

The Butcher Arms is an absolute favourite lovely welcoming staff food and service very good add plus child friendly there's well secure play area for youngsters. Looking forward to returning 😀
