We nearly missed this cafe however we’re so glad that we turned around and went back to it as it is exceptionally well run and very clean and welcoming with coffee and cakes etc., to match the welcome! Having coffee outside in a sheltered area was very pleasant - as was the service. Well worth a visit and the bonus is the really nice garden centre where the cafe is situated.

Wonderful cafe. Staff are all very helpful and welcoming. Came for the shrove Tuesday special offer on pancakes I had bacon pancakes and my son had the fruit pancakes absolutely delicious. We normally have the traditional breakfast but thought we d try something different and weren't disappointed.

I was really looking forward to breakfast. Unfortunately, I was served raw pancakes. I pointed this out and they offered to replace but I didn’t fancy anything else after that experience. They didn’t even offer to take it off the bill even though it was obvious I’d barely touched it. Husband ordered extra sausage that never arrived. Considering we never actually saw the bill I can’t be certain that we didn’t pay for it anyway! Won’t be returning

Visited with my daughter and two grandsons for breakfast. The way the boys cooked breakfasts were presented was so lovely. One had scrambled egg and one fried egg with sausage, bacon (all very good quality), beans in a ramekin and toast& butter. My daughter had avocado on toast which again was beautiful presented, it looked so appetising and she said it tasted delicious too. I had tea, leaf tea, and a seeded flapjack,which tasted great. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely return.

Firstly we me and my wife entered the door and were welcomed with very impolite staff that looked way to young to be there as we settled in our seat we were approached by one of the staff who took our orders we then had to wait for 30 minutes for our food to come out never in my life i have had to wait that long. When the food came to our table we were then given the wrong bread, we were give bread with seeds and my wife is very allergic so this really did give me a scare i purposely download trip advisor today to give warning to any unsuspecting guests it was a Saturday to never forget and to top it off we felt like we were pushed out the place by the young staff thank you. James I would like to add a little note the food yes took ages to arrive was very delicious and if the service was good definitely a reason to visit

The latest of several visits since moving to Bidford. It was recommended to me then and I have recommended it to others since! Lovely cafe with really good food. A plus as we could take the dogs in with us, as well as grandsons! Cannot resist the large breakfast - yum! Will be going back many times in the future.

We arrived a few mins after they stopped serving food yet were still provided with large platefuls of sandwiches and crisps. Lovely coffee and not as expensive as I expected. Dogs got served first with a bowl of water as soon as we walked in. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and friendly service. Happy to have daughter's dog there which is a plus. The large breakfast is delicious and certainly large! Have returned several times since finding it in December 2022 and plan to do so many times again!

Mandy and her staff are always amazing. Lovely friendly people who couldn’t do more for you. Very attentive and welcoming. We come here almost weekly and the food is always outstanding. Very well priced food. And it tastes great.

Stumbled into and have stoped by for both for coffee and lunch several time, the staff have an exemplary attitude, helpful, courteous, polite, engaging and efficient, the baked good are delicious and learned from last visit, all home made plus dogs were welcomed. We booked to celebrate an 18th birthday on the recommendation of a friend. What a lovely afternoon we had! We were made most welcome and looked after very well. The afternoon tea was perfect and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Thank you very much Mandy and staff. We’d definitely recommend.

Not impressed, service was incredibly slow (best part of half an hour from ordering) and the food was average, full english breakfast and the fried eggs weren’t even runny..even though e specifically asked for them to be. Would rush back which is sad as we’d heard good things about the place.

Visited for breakfast after a lunch visit when first opened. The breakfast was well cooked and presented for all 3 of us. Service is friendly and attentive and the cafe is clean, bright and with some beautiful artwork on the walls. It is dog friendly which once I would not have been keen on but now we have one means a good place to visit. I really enjoyed the coffee and we will certainly visit again

Just had some of the best French toast here. Beautifully presented with assorted fruits and cream and it was hot! What's not to like? Lovely clean bright cafe with well spaced tables and an attractive outside area. Gentle music, not drowning you out. Very friendly efficient service.Just wish I had discovered it sooner!

Loathe to leave too good a review as this great little place gets very busy already! I bring Clients here for a tasty breakfast and a lovely coffee. The Staff are efficient and friendly...local art on the walls is for sale and its in the grounds of the garden centre with a very nice outside eating area when the weather allows. Recommended:-)

Osco's is one of my favourite cafes. It's great for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The food is all freshly prepared and very sensibly priced, Mandy (owner) is lovely, and the staff are all friendly and efficient. The decor is good, there is ample parking, and there's a nice garden centre to visit next door if you wish.

2nd time here and was just as good as our first visit, second visit was lunch first visit was breakfast, both meals delicious, just right size portions for my appetite, Mandy the owner is lovely and so is her dog 🤗 this is a dog friendly place which is great, it’s very clean and comfortable

I visited this gem of a cafe and I have visited numerous times it is truly recommended for a number of reasons. Firstly the food is sourced localy benefitting businesses and the surrounding community with decent sausages and bacon from a proper butchers.I personally have no hesitation paying extra for quality.The majority of the cakes are homemade in house and the scones are baked daily chocolate cake is also a delight highly recommended. Cleanliness is a good standard i have visited at different times and observed the owner and her staff cleaning floors,tables and chairs constantly and yes dogs are welcome which seems to appeal to many owners that wish to bring their pet. The owner goes out of her way to make all customers welcome and relaxed and recent negative reviews in my opinion are not a true reflection try Osco's for yourself you will not be disappointed!!

Awful stopped here on way home, dog roaming around cafe had 2 breakfasts on a standard breakfast 2 mushrooms cut in half , dirty glasses and bottled water 3 months out of date. £30 for 2 breakfasts and an American pancake with bacon. Not a...

Breakfast here used to be a excellent experience, there was always the same guy cooking & he made the best veggie breakfast, all green, nutritious & local produce. The type of breakfast you would post on Instagram because it looked as good as it tasted. The veggie breakfast now is the worst, all packeted & canned baked beans. The normal breakfast again the same issue, total rubbish. It’s gone from being a nice place to some where I won’t bother going back to. Overpriced & terrible food. Only positive was the coffee was nice enough.

Admittedly, I hadn't been for a month or two but looked forward to lunch there today. I expected all the yummy and different things I knew to be there and which had moved me to review it the first time I visited.But they aren't there anymore. The food is pretty much what you'd get in any cafe, anywhere. The soup was nice and the curry lacking a bit in flavour strength but again-okay. I'd have had the Welsh rarebit but it had been taken off the menu the day before apparently, because it didn't sell. It was the only vaguely unusual thing on the menu! Today it was cheese on toast. But I can have that at home, just round the corner. We stayed because we had come out, the staff were nice and it's in a good spot. Maybe we all didn't appreciate the last owners' efforts enough for them to stay. If they read this, I'm sorry. where did you go?

This is under new management and the quality has dipped sadly. We had a club meal and waited over an hour for good. Portion sizes were appalling !!! How very sad. Go for coffee but not for a meal!

When Osco’s first opened, I thought it was going to be a destination cafe and for a while it was a breath of fresh air with some unique and exciting dishes like Shakshuka, and a deli counter. It’s lunch menu now seems a bit confused and there’s nothing really to consistently stand out from the crowd, being quite bread heavy. That being said, the breakfast menu is spot on and the service is fantastic.It’s understandable given it’s location, that they’ve had to adapt, but it’s a shame that we’d now potentially consider another cafe a few miles up the road towards Stratford instead.

Can’t keep rating this place.... excellent meal, fresh tasty excellent value for money. You have to try the brisket chips they are just .... well try them and find out you won’t be disappointed thanks Stuart and team x

I am a big fan of the food at Osco’s anyway but went with a group of friends for our Christmas lunch today. I had the soup which was served with hot toasted home made bread and then the roast turkey with lovely roasties and vegetables. Both dishes were gorgeous and I was just sorry not to have room for a pudding. My friends all agreed the food was lovely and of a very high standard. You get very generous portions as well so you never will leave feeling hungry. Brilliant food once again and the young lady who served did an excellent job as well. Well done Osco’s once again. You always deliver on excellent food and great service!!

Lovely breakfast on sourdough. Poached eggs, sausage, bacon. Nice coffee, pretty quiet midweek. Garden centre adjoins so take your wallet.

Have passed this garden centre for years but noticed they are now advertising a cafe. I think it's been open for around 18 months. Very nice inside a new building with lots of tables and chairs and even an easy chairs/ settee. We sat outside on a lovely sunny afternoon on a nice patio area with sun shades. Tea and cake was the order of the afternoon, " proper " tea - loose leafs in a purpose made tea pot with strainer. Excellent choice of cakes, we went for the cherry sponge- wow - not had any better. Looked at main menu and it does look a bit pretentious but we will have to wait and sample it sometime. Will return.

Absolutely brilliant place to go, lovely atmosphere and great staff, a young lady called Bethany particularly stood out. Defiantly will be visiting again and would highly recommend

We came for some drinks today. Reasonably priced hot drinks accompanied with a lovely lemon biscuit and marshmallows to dip in the hot chocolate. Interesting local artwork. Friendly welcome from staff. Hope to return another time.

A Saturday lunchtime found us trying out this little eatery adjacent to a garden centre.The place is light and airy and has a nice outside area.Three staff on duty behind the counter not doing much when we arrived - no welcome, instead we had to ask about where we could sit.Menus brought to table and very quickly we realised that this place does not appear to know it's cafe roots. The lunch menu is pricy - £9 for a flat bread. We both plumped for the chicken and lemon flatbread.Everything was made fresh so a tick in the box there.The teapot for two was a miserly two cups, no space for a top up.Only after we left and we discussed our meal and reviewed the menu on line did we realise the chicken flatbread had not been as advertised - no sense of lemon and no avocado! Why? Come on guys deliver what you advertise or at least apologise.I'm sure if you are after a "fancy" lunch this is the place for you but frankly there are many places locally offering better value, better choice and not trying to be something they are not.Sorry, Oscos, we came to you hoping for better from the reviews but for us I think it will be our only visit.

Visited yesterday for breakfast which was good but the coffee was exceptional. The cafe is light and airy and also dog friendly. The homemade brown sauce was delicious I meant to ask if they sell it but the staff were all busy and working very hard so I guess it’s an excuse to return.

We found this hidden gem about a year ago and highly recommend it. As locals we were missing a local high quality cafe/eatery which Oscos delivers in bucket loads. We love the diverse menu which evolves every few months. You can tell a lot of love and attention is put into the menu and subsequent food they produce. Really high quality and fresh! We have taken friends and family here for a quick drink and for low key meals, both of which have been lovely. Its also great if you just want to escape on your own for a while with a cup of tea and a pastry! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, its small size and cosy patio area add to the charm. Ignore any poor reviews, this place is a brilliant local business and one we should all help flourish.

Went for breakfast based on reviews but also several other visits for lunch. Hopes were high but sadly crashed. Waiting staff friendly and helpful but we had to ask for cutlery. Breakfast looked great, it was not made clear however, that food comes from the kitchen with extra seasoning and not just a little! When the waitress came to ask if everything was ok, my partner pointed out that she does not enjoy black pepper and would not add so much salt, the waitress returned from the kitchen to advise us that we should have said so on ordering. Had we known this, we certainly would have. When did copious amounts of salt and pepper begin to be used as a garnish? Perhaps the food should come with additional health warning for people with poor salt tolerances. At payment I asked how could we ask for no seasoning when we weren’t aware? This was greeted with a smile and apology. Thanks we won’t be returning.

My partner and I have driven past this venue many times without stopping. Last weekwe were out for a drive and decided to call in and look at the plants in the nursery. We called in to Osco's and what a find!! The best cappuccinos we have had in ages and the spinach and mushroom brioche from the breakfast menu was to die for. Don't get me started on the accompanying Proper Tomato Ketchup and the Plum and Date Breakfast Sauce - so wonderful we had to buy a bottle of each to enjoy at home! We had a look at the lunch and lunch menus which look wonderful too......we will be back and will tell all our friends.....except we don't want it to get too popular or where will everyone park??

Came for lunch and had the chicken, bacon and mango salad and it was epic!! When it arrived I thought oh god its huge but as it was salad I needed the big portion for it to be satisfying, and it was. Full of flavour and very tasty. I love this place. The food never disappoints and it's a really lovely atmosphere, I don't feel awkward or self conscious eating on my own (like you can in some places). The staff are always lovely and genuinely want you to have a good experience. Thank you for another enjoyable visit.

Visited initially just to have a coffee, but on seeing the menu decided to have lunch. We weren't disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the tomato, feta and olive salad which beautifully presented and was full of flavour and really filling. My husband had the bacon and cheese burger served with paprika potato wedges. He thoroughly enjoyed it and said the burger was perfection. There was a good selection of desserts and cakes, but we were so full we couldn't manage anything else. There was also several vegeterian options. A lovely place to eat and friendly hosts. Would highly recommend a visit.

Had been recommended by a friend who also had a great breakfast. I can simply say our breakfast was one of best we have ever had. Perfectly cooked with great flavour. We received lovely service in a charming establishment. Would highly recommend and will make it a regular stop.

My partner and I come here semi-regularly for breakfast and it's always a pleasant experience. I usually choose from their vegetarian selection (which is varied) and the food is always flavoursome, hot and cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly too. Will be returning again!

Once again felt like my pants had been pulled down over priced badly cooked cold breakfast the boss is grey and uninspired iv had good experiences before with friendly lively staff. I have been to Osco's several times now and am never disappointed with the quality of the food and lovely friendly service. I had the burger and paprika coated wedges for lunch on this visit and it was absolutely gorgeous. I only wish it was nearer to where I lived, as I would then be eating there on a weekly basis. Please open one in Kenilworth.

I love this place, friendly service and amazing food! The best thing about this little jewel of a cafe is that Stuart has an incredible talent with food combinations. I have tried lots of new foods at Osco's that I wouldn't have been brave enough to try at other places because I just know that it will be delicious if Stuart has cooked it and I've never been disappointed.

No need to keep fingers crossed for a halfway decent cup of coffee, Osco's is not a typical garden centre cafe.Coffee and cake are good but it's lunch where they excel with an imaginative menu, good quality ingredients and food cooked freshly to order. Portions are generous, service cheerful and friendly, atmosphere relaxed and prices not unreasonable given the overall quality.It must be hard making a living in such a quiet location (small garden centre, B road between Stratford and Bidford) but they deserve to do well and we'll certainly go again.

This is a little gem. The menu was very varied and interesting. We both enjoyed our choices. Mine was chicken tikka flatbread with mint yoghurt.

Have eaten here a couple of times and have been really impressed - it's definitely not your typical garden centre cafe - more a really good bistro restaurant (though I would also happily stop for coffee and cake if visiting the garden centre). The menu is inventive, everything is freshly cooked to order, the service is friendly but efficient and decor is modern/relaxed. Portion sizes are also very generous - so far we've tried the smoked cod risotto, veggie burger, vegetable tagine and pork belly and all were delicious. The desserts are also sumptuous, if you have enough room!! Would thoroughly recommend Osco's.

Although we live over an hour away we found this gem of a place whilst visiting friends who live nearby. Since our first visit, we have had the pleasure of visiting Osco’s on a few occasions and it has been worth the long drive every time. I don’t write reviews very often but feel that this cafe/bistro is worthy of one - the food has been consistently excellent and the service just as great. The only request we have now is that Osco’s opens a branch nearer to us! Looking forward to our next visit already.

We dined at Osco's yesterday, for Sunday lunch, but we've also dined there maybe 20 times over the course of several months. So I feel I'm in a position to give a long term view...Both the quality of food and service has been consistently excellent. We generally visit on Sundays, for a roast lunch, although we have visited on weekdays and ordered other dishes.I'd recommend without hesitation.

This was my second visit to Osco's, and it just gets better and better! My first visit was with my husband, who is disabled, and we were both so impressed by the friendly, courteous treatment that we received, and the food was absolutely yummy!! So when my sister moved into the area, I could think of no better treat for her than brunch at Osco's! It is such a gorgeous, stylish restaurant, light and airy, with beautiful plants and stunning artworks adorning the walls. The restaurant is beautifully clean, the menu is extensive, the service is excellent, and the layout is just right, and the food.........................beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious!! Lovely locally sourced produce, fresh bakery products, the BEST mocha, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, with attentive, prompt service that made us feel really special, and very welcome. I was really impressed by the very flavourful range of sauces that were offered - perfectly complemented my lovely meal. My sister and I really enjoyed our visit, and will definitely be back. This was my first visit after a friend suggested it. The staff greeted me and were really attentive. It was a lovely atmosphere and plenty of seating which was good. The only slight negative for me was the drink (hot chocolate)- it was quite watery and bland and I didn't particularly enjoy it. I would return but would order a different drink. A great place to have a catch up over a drink

I’ve been twice to Osco’s this week, each time just for coffee and cake, and have been extremely happy with the quality of service, the food and the drinks. So I’m looking forward to going back for Sunday lunch, when sirloin of beef with Osco’s famous Yorkshire puddings, slow cooked spare ribs and roast chicken will be on the menu. But for now, their coffee was very good and their gluten-free chocolate brownies have won me! All their produce is organic and sourced locally wherever possible. I recommend it without reservation.

I visited this venue with two friends, one of which lives locally and recommended it.I loved the place which isn't very big but very nice and clean and the staff are really nice and offer service with a smile.It was hard to pick from such a nice menu and when the meals arrived they were huge which in a way is sad when you can see all the beautiful cakes on show. I must admit that ,as full as I was, I couldn't resist "forcing" down a slice of cherry and almond cake with a nice cup of tea for dessert.We weren't rushed out and were able to sit and relax and chat even though several people had come and gone during our visit.I would recommend this lovely eating place for anyone finding them selves in the area and the garden centre looks really nice too

Been here a couple of times for the toasties, They are exceedingly tasty and huge. the bread is fantastic and is also sold in the shop. Well worth a visit, but you must be hungry.

Wanted to find somewhere in Bidford to take my son out for lunch. It was a Sunday and we didn't want something huge, we only really wanted a nice snack. Super menu, no problem with one vegetarian (great choices) and one non dairy. Nice wine and beer menu, really lovely produce you can taste the difference. Relaxed but super friendly service. Well done, we will come back for more.

Completely fresh, very reasonable and absolutely delicious you will really enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and cake at Osco's. The chef/owner is Stuart and he is very experienced, having worked a chef in one of the Stratford area's well known eating establishments. He's branched out on his own and he is now delivering just what the area needs, fresh superbly cooked food with a modern twist. He uses only the best ingredients around, meat from Stratford's famous Barry the Butcher, locally baked bread and lots of organic vegetables from the area. But, how Stuart turns all these fine ingredients into some incredible dishes, we are just amazed. He is an excellent chef and seems genuinely pleased when customers tell him how they've enjoyed his food. There is a fantastic choice on the menu for breakfast or lunch. We particularly enjoy the American pancakes with maple syrup or the veggie breakfast (an incredible plate with potato rosti, mushrooms, home made baked beans, eggs, bubble & squeak, tomato, spinach) for only £7.95. We also now regularly indulge in Sunday lunch at Osco's - definitely the best home-made and great value for money lunch and we have sampled most of the restaurants in this part of Warwickshire: and they even come around and offer you seconds, just in case you are feeling extra hungry. We have always found the staff very friendly and efficient, and not too intrusive or pushy.Osco's is located just on the Stratford side of Bidford upon Avon, it has a lovely patio area where you can relax and enjoy a drink during the summer days, overlooking Blenheim Nurseries next door. With a growing clientele Osco's has now opened on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner. We wish them every success.

We invited 45 friends who unanimously voted 5 stars for the venue, huge amounts of excellent food served up by its wonderful chef and his friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone went home happy.

Small restaurant attached to the Blenheim nursery, very friendly efficient staff serving a variety of tasty snacks & light lunches

We weren't meaning to stop for lunch but I'd promised husband a coffee if he let me browse more plants in the small adjoining nursery. It turned into lunch because the café offered a few 'different' things and the seating is inviting inside and out. Husband had a salad with homemade pickled onions and balsamic pickled eggs which he would gladly buy jars of to take home. I had a flatbread with avocado and a ratatouille-type mix with beans and feta, and it was a lovely change to normal vegetarian options. I enquired about the Sunday lunch, and the waitress not only answered the question but took time to ask the chef for more information and relayed it back to me. I intend to become a regular there as it's local. They deserve a good review. My only worry is about the word spreading TOO much!

this is my second visit and it did not disappoint again. We had breakfast this time and the selection is excellent. I had the scrambled egg, bacon and avocado it was delightful recommend if you have not tried this hidden gem worth a visit.

Fabulous food in a great setting. Good menu, value for money, friendly staff, not much more i can say except visit as soon as you can.

I didn't think Oscos could get any better but it has! We've had family to stay and there was 8 of us! Fanbloodytastic! Comes to mind! They moved tables, friendly, freshly prepared food, great staff. I'll keep on raving about this place Shaun and his team deserve every ounce of recognition... ps now serving alcohol Friday and Saturday nights !!!

Simply the best Sunday roast dinner we have had. The food was fabulous in taste and presentation. Cooked to perfection. Served as a choice of roast beef or chicken. Full of flavour and succulence. Excellent portion sizes. Absolutely delicious! Every client is offered extras ... large homemade Yorkshire puddings, vegetables, roast potatoes & gravy at the table-side. The cafe has a relaxed atmosphere with indoor & outdoor seating. Children are made very welcome. It is dog friendly. Our dog was offered water on arrival & made very welcome too. Do not hesitate to visit this place. It is highly recommended. If we could rate it with more stars we would. Outstanding! You are in for a treat! The service was efficient & unobtrusive. Our compliments to the chef and owner. You are extremely talented and professional. Well done!

Had a lovely lunch in this beautiful cafe today. My Ceaser Salad was delicious and my partners roast beef dinner one of the best he's ever had. What a really nice touch to bring round more Yorkshire puddings, potatoes and veg.Can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Called for a light lunch and was pleased with the small but interesting menu. We chose Thai curry flatbread and pulled pork tortilla and they were both, hot, tasty and full of meat. We had two cups of good coffee and then finished with a very large, gooey, chocolate muffin. Everything was freshly prepared, and served with friendly efficiency.

Came to Osco's with my wife, daughter and future son in law as a belated father's day meal.Had the chicken noodle soup for starters. The flavours were out of this world and the soup to die for.The Roast Sirloin, quite simply the best Sunday Roast I have ever had.The chef here really knows his stuff. We are talking Michelin star standard here5* rating all the way.Highly recommended and can't wait to come again.Guess what Bidford, your best kept secret is out!

Second visit which was as amazing as the first. Great food, brilliant menu that's a bit different from the normal. Also excellent service. My wife and I can't wait to go back again. As we are both big coffee drinkers we can't praise the quality of the coffee enough.

This is our third time here and each time the food and service have been great, the menu is very imaginative and beautifully cooked. We came to the tapas night which was also very enjoyable Can we hope you will be opening some other evenings?

Bith young lads were so busy cleaning the place they didn;t notice m,y wife and I at the counter - perhaps preparing the place before openeing might be a good idea?We felt we were being a nuisance and were soon wishing we were somewhere else.

Heard great things about osco's had a visit and was pleasantly surprised would definitely go back for another visit

We visited for breakfast. The menu was very varied with some unusual entries - not like a normal garden centre menu, although they had staples like toasted tea cakes. My vegetarian breakfast was like no other I have had- but in a good way. Everything freshly prepared- lovely

Visited with some friends and our toddlers. The menu was so tempting we struggled to choose what to have. Finally settled on a couple of sandwiches off the specials board, some home baked beans on toast and a sausage bap. The sandwiches were enormous and could easily have been shared between two. The beans on toast were delicious. The sausage bap was tasty and served in a brioche bun which was a nice touch. The children each had beans on toast which they happily tucked into. Very child friendly with children's plates and cutlery and a free piece of fruit too! Would be nice if they had bibs for when forgetful parents turn up!We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

We live in Bidford, we come here every week and we love it. The doggies do too, as they are made to feel very welcome! It's a lovely setting, fantastic food, nice staff - never had a bad meal here.In the summer the outside seating area is an added bonus.Would recommend anytime.Vanessa and Este
