The best restaurants in West Midlands

Rate 5 for food because they often have cobs on the weekend and they are the best cobs in Birmingham (overall it's not a food establishment)

This place needs a lot of work. Read good reports so was looking forward to having brunch here. Had a Quick Look in the Delhi are looking for local treats girl sat on bar stool in the corner did not even lift her head from her Mobil phone. Went into cafe very little on menu, one soup, sandwiches and poor Brekky menu. Order a bacon sandwich which had half a slice of bacon and very expensive. Try other cafe in the village.

Excellent service, good food with generous portions and great value deal including starters, main and coffee. Will definitely return

We had an excellent meal in a pleasant atmosphere. We go regularly and the food is always good. Our guest really wanted Zabaglione for dessert but it wasn't on the menu. He asked and ten minutes later it arrived in a big glass enough for all three of us to share. These people really understand about hospitality.

Excellent service, explained menu as it was our first visit and very attentive. Very good food. Will definitely go back agsin

I have used this place since it very first opened as Anwar knows The food and service has always been if the highest stanard with out exception ,eat in or takeaway/delivery Staff are first class ! I've probably had every meat dish on there menu and a few not on there menu everything is superb ! Have your meal the way you want it just say how you want it ! Only one dish I hant trued was the Tawa oooh what a dish ,I prefer chicken but have had the lamb too has it comes not.spiced up but put with a garlic or chilli rice it's absolutely superb Credit yo Anwar his staff n chef

Used to be excellent Gone downhill since brewery took it over and George left. A shadow of its former self.

The fish and chips were OK. The burgers were served without any garnish which I have not experienced before. The butternut squash gratin was awful and we sent it back. A slimy layer of butternut squash on some green beans - a really poor show. I would not be in a hurry to go back here.

Searching for nice pub in the area and wow did we find it. Very busy on a Saturday night which was a good sign. All the staff were extremely attentive and what seemed like a family run business made for a lovely evening. Food was well priced and plentiful all served with a smile. Menu was obviously thought through and catered for all pallets. Well done, we will definitely be back.

This place never opens We travelled really far Google states there open and it's not!

Called in last night (8th April) with my Son and we were greeted by a friendly chap, we ordered two large fish, a portion of chips and a pot of gravy I have to say that it was without question, the best fish we have tasted, it was cooked fresh for us, pure white, crispy batter and not a drop of grease, the chips were light and fluffy on the inside and had a crispy crunch to them, now I know gravy is gravy, but again, dead tasty When we arrived home(Some 15 miles away) `i had to call the shop and tell them just how much we enjoyed the food It really was that nice Now, I can't afford fish and chips every week but I guarantee we'll be calling in again when I'm next in Uttoxeter Thanks again for a perfect end to a lovely evening!!!!

Love this club on a match day but music too loud everyone has to shout at each other to be heard

This cafe is right in the centre of Whitchurch. We sat outside in lovely sunny weather listening to a local busker and chatting to one of the local characters. Coffee and cake was excellent as was the service.
