Olympic Cafe in Birmingham

There is a cafe nearby to me but happy to walk a little further as it's worth it to this one..good food and great staff

Excellent food very fresh and well prepared, usual stuff breakfasts chips and meals, salads sandwiches and paninis. Standard of cleanliness is outstanding.

Good service and a good breakfast (1 sausage cut in half actually counted as 2 sausages) in the silver breakfast, but to be fair it's the best breakfast Ive had after using most cafes from Tile Cross to Kitts Green... Definitely will use again.👍🏾

Llevó a mi hija a desayunar con resaca. La primera vez que he estado aquí a pesar de que es justo en mi casa. El interior estaba impecablemente limpio. El servicio desde el pedido hasta la salida fue muy bueno por todo el personal y aunque en casi £ 10 para un inglés completo un poco caro, la comida era 10 / 10. Todo cocinado perfecto. Muy recomendable

I’ve visited this place a few times and whilst you can’t fault the staff you can fault the pricing which is totally unacceptable for the area it’s in. £5 for a tuna salad baguette! £4.50 for Cheese on toast! What are they smoking when thinking up these prices. I’m sorry please don’t insult our intelligence by saying ‘It’s the ingredients’ I’ve seen the cheap margarine/butter you use and the buy in ‘bulk’ grated cheese. Earlier opening hours to accommodate the tradesman who usually start at 7.30 would help as well. Having said that I suppose charging what they do they can afford to work shorter hours. I think someone needs to remind the owner they are not in Central London it’s the Meadway.

Visited today for the first time friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and the place is clean n fresh. Ordered a southern fried chicken wrap with salad. It was delicious, tasty and nice. Thank you to all the staff, I will be back 👊 😎

I'd never been this Cafe before but while I was waiting for my car to charge I thought I'd give it a try......WOW is all I can say!!!! food was amazing and the staff from when I entered to when I left we're spot on on super friendly what more can you ask for. After speaking to the owner about EV cars and said I was waitng for mine to charge he even give me a cuppa on the house 👍 I'll definitely be returning soon thank you.

Always a friendly atmosphere with the staff making you feel welcome. Food is top quality, whether breakfast or lunch, I particularly like their baguettes. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the Cappuccinos are so smooth, a perfect start to a day.

Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked. lovely clean cafe with first class staff, Breakfast really tasty and plentiful.

Best local cafe by far, place is so clean it hurts your eyes hahaha. My only issue is price, especially as my order sometimes falls outside of the set meals, all the separate menu items add up very quick.

The food and service is best around, I’ve tried them all loads and loads of times. The food here is ther best… but it’s seriously hinded by the amount of drugs and drug dealers that sit outside staring at you … it’s a real shame

I have given 5stars for the service only. Because the lady that took my order was polite and helpful. The food arrived quickly which I will also give them credit for. However, the breakfast (A bronze breakfast-Small) was way below my expectations. The bacon was not cooked enough for me , it had probably been in the frying pan for no more than 2minutes so the rind was still white, fatty & undercooked. The fried egg was cooked Perfectly (slightly runny) tinned tomatoes? Well not much to say on this as it's tinned tomatoes! The sausage was cooked (it was cut in half)well but tasted like it lacked much meat content it tasted like the cheaper brand from costcutters perhaps? The toast was ok but im no fan of Margarine, my biggest gripe was the TINNED MUSHROOMS on my plate! Tinned mushrooms have no place on any plate let alone a full English breakfast! They are tasteless slices of rubber that resemble diced slugs. Why this cafe cut corners on the mushrooms is a mystery to me it's not like mushrooms are that expensive, and producing a full English breakfast is hardly difficult either. If your going to put tinned tomatoes, tinned beans, tinned mushrooms undercooked bacon and cheap sausages with marginal meat content in them & present All that as a full English breakfast? THEN don't bother Serving them... And im no fan of having to eat breakfast with a waitress spraying cleaning fluid behind me as she prepares the table for the next customers... And the cup of tea would have made a builder proud, it was undrinkable for me and made my teeth squeak! Suffice to say I cannot give anymore than 1 star for the breakfast at this place based on what I was served.sorry guys but a full English breakfast should have quality ingredients included and be a meal that sets you up for the day, this one failed on all counts.( Your only asked how you like your eggs i.e runny etc your not asked how you like your bacon ie crispy ect)

Food is lovely and there's lots of choice. We have come here a good few times over the 10 or so years it has been open. The owner is such a lovely guy. The hospitality he provides makes his place stand out from the rest. Highly recommended

My first visit to this cafe and the most expensive sandwich by far. £5 for a sausage bacon and egg sandwich what a rip off. Day old sausage and burnt bacon but I think the egg was at least freshly cooked. There are several other cafes in the area and charge almost £2 less than this place. Please avoid

Great experience. Food was amazing, immaculately presented and tasted great. The staff were amazing, recommending portions for the kids and overall really kind and professional. The music is a great touch. Hopefully we will be back soon.

The new shiny tiles of the Olympic Cafe's counter welcome the customer as they step up to the transparent plastic shield. A quick look at the menu shows there has been much thought put into each dish. Try your tastebuds at Bronze, Silver, Gold or Olympic breakfasts alongside bread-based greats like paninis, burgers and baguettes. There is plenty of table inside and comfy seating outside. Go Olympic!

Friendly staff nice and clean cold food our hot both 1st class. Chilli in tray with salad is my favorite, also cheese salad baguette both good value.

I'll start by saying that the food was half decent. I won't deny that, however the bacon was a little more undercooked than I would like. I ordered a sausage and egg sandwich which my partner said she liked, however I had 4 sausage, 4 bacon and 1 hash brown in a tray...instead I got 4 bacon, 2 sausages cut in half, and 2 hash browns 🤔 I wouldn't mind except for the fact that the contents were written on the paper it was wrapped in. I will add the photo on the the photo section. The hash browns were removed as they were for my partner.
