The Baker's Arms in Staffordshire Moorlands

Not been there many times but it’s a nice little pub with friendly people and great pints and a great atmosphere.

Used to love this place when Chris then Donna had it. For me it’s gone downhill. Took the ale I had back as was clearly off, end of barrel vinegar. Offered replacement so had Staropramen which tasted chemically. Loud obnoxious people (I get it it’s a pub) but it’s about having consideration for other people. Mainly carling swillers, say no more.

This is a great place. There is fantastic memorabilia on the walls and the locals are solid, top people. Nice cider 6%

Nice real ale, cider and mainstream keg bar in the town centre. Nice cosy period decor. Dog friendly. Beer garden at the rear. Children welcome but use of bad language by very drunk and loud people even at 3pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday is tolerated on the premises so probably wouldn’t take the kids. Live music throughout the month over weekends and regular special offers.

In my opinion the Bakers is the best pub in cheadle. Its packed with character and the landlord (Terry) is one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet. Its a great little pub.

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great people.

What looked from the outside and in as a quaint old real ale House turned out to be full of TV' s with sport on and a load of foul mouthed, drunken customers. We went outside to escape them only to have smokers added to our list of repulsions. It's saving grace was the beer which was excellent.

Not sure they do food! But a great little bar with friendly folk, had a great evening here and would recommend to anyone in the area

Good pub, actually the only one in Cheadle worth a visit, bit busy, music so loud we glad to sit outside. That said good to see a thriving pub.

A lovely old pub full of caratur. Staff and customers very helpful with doors. A ramp to disabled toilet. Easy access. Room to turn an Electrical chair in.and spotlas. By far a pub catering to disabled people and able body people. There is a rear. Entrance

What a great pub, staff and locals brilliant and very reasonably priced drinks hence had to get taxi back to our destination which was just over a mile away.

Really nice cosy pub with a very friendly atmosphere. We're just here for the weekend, 4x adults and our 13tr old. The locals couldn't have been more welcoming to us, and were even helping to pass drinks to us from the crowded bar. Good selection of drinks and some live music which got lots of people singing. If I lived here, that would be my local!

Hi, The Bakers Arms is a traditional town pub. Very friendly atmosphere. I was very in pressed, with been in a scooter club are visit was last week was at this pub. expecting are usual chip butties. To my amazement a large pizza and chips was placed on the table yummy!! enjoyed by all.

Tbh! I couldn't find any fault with it at all! Excellent choice of drinks, friendly and attentive staff! Wide ranging, and friendly clientel! Pub full of Bon Hommie! 1st rate as a Pub to visit or have as a local! Praise must be given to the Innkeeper, without whom, none of this would be possible! Keep up the good work!

Lovely traditional pub a welcome addition to Cheadle High Street

A bit like stepping back in time. The feeling of a proper drinking pub from times gone by. I didn't enjoy the pint I had, but that can happen with cask ales. The front entrance is on the high Street alternatively there is another entrance to the rear of the main car park

Was a great little venue my wife and I acassionaly visited but disappointed after I took a group of our friends into share our experience. And was refused to serve us at last orders at 11.45pm but would serve others after 12.45am. we weren't drunk or causing any scene before anyone ask. Was a little disappointed with that but yer quirky little venue.
