Lovely restaurant. I’ve only ever ordered takeaway from here in the past but it was my first time in the restaurant and I have to say it looks a lot smaller from the outside than it really is. Everything is so delicious and fresh, I’ve never been disappointed before by any of the food here. I would totally recommend trying the scallops, green shelled mussels and the sizzlers. Also the stir fried vegetables and the coconut rice. Very reasonably priced too, although some of the prices are a bit oddly specific and could probably do with just being rounded up or down to the nearest 5 or 10.

Not the best food was pretty tasteless , spent £40 and left a lot of it .

I went to this restaurant last night for my very first time and I have never eaten anywhere in Leek where I have come away with absolutely no complaints. We were served by a lovely man who provided really quick service. Our starters came out really quickly and were piping hot , as well as absolutely delicious. I had a chicken main, my friend had a steak main and we shared rice and noodles and everything was cooked to perfection, the chicken was moist and the rice and noodles had lots of flavour. The lovely lady (I think the owner of the establishment?) came out of the kitchen and spoke to us about what we like to then return with a complimentary curry dish which was absolutely incredible. We were that full they boxed up our leftovers to take home with us which I think was a really nice touch. The bill was also really reasonable and to be honest I would have happily paid more for it as it was really worth it. Overall great service, friendly staff and absolutely beautiful food. Will definitely be returning very soon!

Easily the best satay chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken was wonderfully tender and moist. Restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable, even though they all end in random amounts of pence! Would return it in the area.

I’m staying in Leek on business and due to the time of year the hotel restaurant was busy. What a bonus! I found this place on Google maps and decided to try it. Good was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic! The restaurant was filled with couples, to be expected… I really enjoyed my meal. The staff are very accommodating. Would highly recommend! (Yes I got more prawn crackers than in the photo, a mix of Thai and Chinese. I just didn’t take the pic straight away)

Another incredible meal from Thai Siam. The service is brilliant, I've eaten in before and also ordered delivery to home a few times and the service has always been spot on. Tonight I ordered via the chat option on the website and it was so easy and had very prompt responses. I had the mixed starter for one, pork balls and my all time favourite - Duck Thai green curry, all phenomenal, already looking forward to eating the left overs tomorrow! Haven't had a dish from here yet which has disappointed.

Great midweek meal with family a couple of weeks ago. Not been for a couple of years but we were very happy with the whole experience at Thai Siam. The staff were very attentive, the food was great & we were seated in a lovely spot by the window. We ordered the mixed starter, Chicken Massaman, Pad Thai, & a children's rice dish with chicken, plus a couple of desserts & drinks. The total bill came to £103.38, which was excellent for 4 adults & a child. We will be back soon. Thank you.

Excellent authentic food. The sizzling duck was incredible. The ribs as an appetizer was wonderful. The service was excellent. The staff is very friendly. Make sure you try the fried banana or pineapple dessert. It was delicious.

I had this food to take out (they deliver for free in the local area but it was quite late when I ordered so I needed to pick it up) but I can’t believe how amazing the food is !!!! I strongly recommend the Tom Yam soup and the Duck Mar Karm ! I’m so happy that I finally found a tasty restaurant near my house 😍 Additionally, it is really good value for the portions that they serve!

We visited on a recommendation from the owner of an airbnb. Having not really experience Thai food in a restaurant we was a little unsure what we would want so opted for some set meals. They were all delicious, we left stuffed and thoroughly satisfied. Well done, we'd definitely come back

Went in sat near the window which had a few dead flies on the sil ,we were the first in sat down and was given a manky sticky menu.another person came in and was more of a priority than us and was served first ,so we left .the waitress didn't seem bothered wouldn't rtn.

Great selection of well prepared and beautifully presented Thai food. Try a banquet for a great value spread. Staff are friendly and happy to make suggestions if you are not sure what to try. One step up into premises means a bit difficult for wheelchair users.

Visited on a relatively quiet evening so the service was quick. However, I ordered a king prawn dish and was disappointed to find only four prawns in the entire meal. Very disappointed!

5 of us went here for a meal, we all had different starters and mains and all were very nice, tasty and different, the waitress and other staff were very friendly, can definitely recommend the place.

A lovely Thai restaurant serving absolutely amazing and beautiful food. The place wasn't that full when we went and to be honest i was sceptical with it being so empty. But i need not of been. As the service was totally amazing and the food better. Nothing was too much trouble for the ladies that served us all (5 of us big eating lads). Every thing was piping hot and of top quality. If ever in Leek and you enjoy your Thai food then this is the place to visit trust me.

Came here last night, we were the only people in there (but Leek was weirdly quiet, hope you guys had a nice Barbecue night 😂☀️) - but anyway, OUTSTANDING. My friends had set meals, I went on my own. The Tom Kha Gai was delicious, massive pieces of chicken, with plenty of it, The Thai Spare Ribs were super tasty, the sauce was addictive, then I had the pork dish which I can't for the life remember the name of was tasty, loads of veg, the only negative I could say I wish it was spicier (But I didn't ask, so that's on me). Now, I had a little dabble into my friends set meals...they all loved it, but I HAD to try the Green & Massaman Curries, they looked superb, tasted even better, genuinely best two Thai Curries I've ever had seriously, I could've eaten both for every meal until my Death Bed - so thick, absolute flavour explosion & had a nice kick. They gave us an extra portion of the Green Curry & they told us about a Sirloin Steak with vegetables & a Thai style sauce, it was a HUGE piece of steak, both for FREE! YES, A STEAK, FOR FREE! - the service was stupendous, they were all absolutely lovely & had a laugh with them, such nice people. If I lived in Leek, this place would be a second home after that feast. You have a gem with this place.

Not impressed at all, my starter chicken balls, was processed meat, they were tasteless. Main course, we asked if noodles came with the stir fry, got told yes, no noodles at all came. To be honest we should of complained, but we'd been travelling for 3 hours we were tired, just thought pay up and lets get out of here. Staff were pleasent thou

Fabulous food and a wonderful atmosphere. We love visiting the restaurant and will continue to do so whenever we can. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The service is always excellent. The most delicious Thai food I have ever tasted.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, both the interior and the food and not to mention the absolutely lovely servers. For starters we ordered the mix starter for one along with a vegetarian starter, which isn't on the menu but is simply various deep fried vegetables. All of it was delicious! Then for mains three of us ordered to share, so we had pad Thai, pad see Ew and chicken and cashews, the chef made the last dish for us as a suprise dish so I'm not sure if that's the name that appears on the menu. We also had the weeping tiger, which was a mouthwatering tender steak, it tasted so buttery and garlicky, I was in heaven. I wasn't a big fan of the chicken cashew dish as it was very gingery and I'm not overly keen on ginger, but the pad Thai and pad see Ew were devine. I took the leftovers home with me and had them cold the next day and it was just as good. We didn't have any dessert because we were far too full. The prices are alright but it does mount up when you get a few dishes to share, also I was over charged for one of my drinks which I wasn't too happy about but it was ok. My one criticism is that while the servers were very polite and friendly, they were very attentive, a bit too attentive. We'd be eating or drinking and server after various server would come ask if we needed more drinks or anything else, which is fine but it was constant. But then when we had finished at the end and wanted the bill, the servers were suddenly non existent! I'm rating it five stars for everything else though, mainly the food, the constant attention from the servers then the lack of isn't too big of an issue. On a side note this place also does takeaway, which is great too know for the future.

Quality Thai Regular visitors to one of our favourite restaurants in Leek. Firstly very surprised by the recent poor reviews we have never had a below average experience here. Friendly staff, varied menu and excellent well presented authentic Thai food what more could you ask for? Highly Recommend 👌

This place is a joke, the only reason it’s so busy is because it’s the only Thai in leek. The staff were rude and service was so slow when we ate in. We waited so long for drinks our food came before them which was mediocre and cold. We decided to give them another go as a take away another time and to my amazement and absolute astonishment they charged me 20% service charge for collecting a take away. Where’s the service? When I confronted them and demanded my £8 service charge back they were reluctant and rude. The cheek of charging a 20% service charge for collecting a take away is something Iv never witnessed or heard of and the audacity of it, they are con artists and I would urge all of you to seriously consider ever parting with your money with them. Bad form on there part, bad karma, what goes around comes around and they will live to regret there money grabbing ways

Thai siam is by far my favourite place to eat in leek, especially loving spicy food and seafood. Went tonight and the food was beautiful, I had the scallops starter which was delicious and very well priced (£7.85 for 4-5 scallops) then I had pad pad talay for mains with veg noodles and it was brilliant. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and had a lot of it that kept me full for the evening. One thing I do not recommend at all is takeaway. I had takeaway last year new years eve and it was very under par (luke warm, chewy fish, etc) but the indoor eating experience at Thai siam is brilliant and can not be knocked.

Friendly Thai in the center of Leek. Lots of GF choices and it's nice and spicy ! Food is plentiful, you won't go hungry. Seems more of a takeaway than a restaurant and it's fairly quiet inside. Well worth a visit

Went to Thai Siam a few times when it was so Thai and it was always lovely. Went for the first time last week under the new name of Thai Siam and it was absolutely delicious! We had the sizzling steak, Thai green curry, noodle Kai and coconut rice! One of the best and tastiest meals I’ve had for a while! Service was great, fast and the waitresses were very accommodating and friendly! Will definitely be making visits to Thai Siam a regular thing!

I had the Tiger Cry sizzling beef and got serious food poisoning. I lost a day’s pay and slept 18 hours to recover.

Overall disappointing what was meant to be a nice evening was turned into McDonalds on the way home, we was sat in a section that was closed because they had no tables any where else available I would have rather been told they were fully booked.. I sat with my coat on freezing we had to keep finding the waiter/ waitress to order as we were forgotten about then the food starters were ok! I ordered the sizzling steak medium well it was rare and cold was meant to be with veg but I got salad it was doubtful that it was even steak it was rather strange we had to find the waitress to complain they then brought it back out 2 minutes latter with what looked like broccoli just to say I was not eating it we paid the bill which was wrong they tried over charging for drinks we didn't have really not great and wont be returning.

Not bad, tasty food, missed some of the finer touches best sums up this experience for me. We walked in, the lady behind the counter didn't even look up to acknowledge us, even trying to get her attention didn't help, we had to wait for one of the waitresses to come free in order for them to confirm our booking and then show us to our table. The restaurant was quiet, only a handful of tables had customers. We ordered set menu A for 4 people plus a couple of additions. The menus were left at the table for some reason, which meant some time later a different waitress wanted to take an order again. Not a problem just a bit odd. The starters arrived. They were extremely tasty, just one of everything for each of us. The fishcake looked a bit damp and soggy, but made up for its appearance in flavour. The mains arrived, minus the additions we'd requested, so we had to eat some of the meal until they arrived. For me it seemed a little low on portion size. Don't get me wrong, I didn't leave hungry, but the rice was just enough and the mains that went with the set menu were really for 3 not 4. Its a good job we did order the additional Pad Thai between us. Having said that, again the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. Was it the best Thai restaurant experience I've ever had - No, could the service have been a little better - Yes, most importantly was the food good - Yes and would I eat here again - Yes!

Top Tier Thai Takeaway. Stir fries, Curries, Starters, Rice, Vegetables. All totally fresh. All absolutely packed with flavour, in the right balance. Spice heat was perfect, food temperature was perfect, delivered within 30 minutes on a packed out Saturday night. We know it was packed out as we couldn't get a table it was so busy, so a takeaway was our preferred option. I can't wait to eat here again. Every time we have food from here it's great. Totally recommended.

It was worrying to begin with, only seemed to have 2 staff on and lots of people queuing for take away orders. However, they work v hard and know their system so service was fine eventually. We ordered set menu A for 2 people. It was delicious, I’m not a connoisseur of Thai but I’m a connoisseur of tasty food and this was good.

Although there was a wait for starters and mains the food was really good albeit rather noisy as it was busy. We do enjoy dining out at So Thai restaurant in Leek. The only disappointment was there was no facility to pay by card only by means of cash payments, this always seems to be the case when we visit as it has been some time since we last came here to dine.

Tasty meal, starter was sweet n sour soup, intense flavour, superb, ribs - lovely followed by weeping tiger steak, delicious and mussels, coconut rice & egg fried rice, perfect, not overly priced, nice atmosphere, attentive staff and pleasant. Been before and will return.

Dreadful experience It is nothing like the reviewers claim. It is NOT in the slightest authentic, but very greasy and unpleasant. We dared to mention that the food was disappointing and ended up with the chef shouting at us....monty pythonesque...avoid at all costs...

If you haven't tried it then you don't know what your missing. Lunchtime menu is unbelievable value for money and evening meals are plentiful

Food was nice, service was poor. It took 30 minutes to clear our table. Young waitress very rude, and tried to discourage us from ordering desserts. I will not be going again.
