We had the wizarding afternoon tea, and it was brilliant

As a typical potter geek I was so excited to go here. Decor is incredible, service & staff are fab the food however was actually un-edible. Deffo should just be a coffee, cake shop.

I booked this place for my birthday as I absolutely love everything Harry Potter, we came over on the steam train for the whole experience. Upon arrival, I must say I was impressed by the decor as they have done an amazing job, even going to the toilet there's a lot of HP decor and it's great. When we came in, there was no real service. We stood at the entrance for sometime waiting to be seated, but no one approached us, they just kept staring at us The cafe is not that big, so I went in as I could see signs on the table, I went to look for me table. I saw one with food out, but not for my allotted time. It was at that point someone approached to ask if we had a booking which we confirmed we did for 12-12.30 arrival. We got there at 12.20. The lady brought us to the table that and everything was already on, I was not impressed as the time on the table said 11.30 and therefore I was concerned that the food had been sitting on the table from that point. I didn't complain as it was my birthday and I just wanted to enjoy it. The afternoon tea had some interesting delights, however the cob sandwiches were a bit disappointing and didnt give me afternoon tea vibes but hey. They had a few little treats, the chocolate frogs were a nice aesthetic but tasted awful... The wands were a cute aesthetic. I think the drinks they provided again were a cute aesthetic with it's fancy swirls but the taste wasn't very appealing. The cakes however were very nice, I believe homemade and quite a range of choices. You could have one as part of the afternoon tea. I had the chocolate orange which was quite nice. The service improved as we were seated, but overall it wasn't the best afternoon tea for me. I would still recommend you give it ago but for me it was somewhat underwhelming.

The cake was delicious, including the gluten free courgette and avocado cake! Service was great too, very friendly.

Absolutely shocking! Came with our daughter today who is crazy about Harry Potter so thought this place would be magical for her, nope! They had hardly any of the food available on their menu, the brought the cakes over to us before our actual dinner which we had to wait half n hour for, they messed up the table numbers, they forgot my daughters drink, took nearly 15 minutes to serve us while we were at the till ordering our food, but it seems if you reserve your table to order your afternoon teas then you are their only priority because a family next to us booked to reserve their table the staff were just focused on them, they had everything they wanted straight away ohhhh but if you come in of the off chance really don’t bother.. a family the other side left before they got their cakes they got fed up waiting! Absolutely shocking, would have loved to go again next time to reserve the afternoon tea but this first time visit has definitely put me off!!

Amazing idea..loved every minute

I have just visited this place and in all honesty I am very disappointed. Firstly we were very rushed to order our food, secondly the whole place inside isn't all that not very magical, thirdly the food it was just some cheap snacks put together, more of a sugar load to be honest. The decor inside is such a let down they could make it look so much better. And lastly £20 per person for afternoon tea was a rip off for what was given, not alot of options just slapped on cheese and tuna in some buns. The best thing was the magical drink which came in a glass bottle, the milkshakes and latte were tasteless. The suitcase the sweets cane in was just a broken brown suitcase, you can get harry potter suitcases which would look better. Oh the plates we were served were just some mixed random plates not even connected to the theme, they were like what you would serve and elderly person cup and tea in.

It is absolutely brilliant 👏, so much choice and food, delicious 😋 if you are a Harry Potter fan you will love it!! Would definitely recommend a visit 👌 👍 😊 ❤️🧙‍♂️🦁

Went last year for daughters birthday. Was wonderful.Went again this year, not good at all. Will not be returning

Quirky wizardry atmosphere fits great coffee and food.

Great place for Harry Potter fans and people who like quirky fun places. Had the Wizards & Witches afternoon tea, loads of food and drink, great cake and coffee.

Just back from a wonderful visit to Platform 10. A 5 hour round trip well worth it. The food was brilliant, and well themed. Scones were HUGE and so light. A truly brilliant experience, and a lovely cafe to visit for the Hogwarts faithful.

Well I found this place and I must say I was super excited to take my daughter there as a surprise for her 9th birthday. She absolutely loves harry potter anything. I emailed the shop to see if we could book but was told we couldn't, they only take bookings for afternoon tea, which is fair enough. On the email it then stated the opening times, Saturdays they are open until 5pm. So I collected my daughter from her dance lesson at 2pm, we drove 55 minutes to get to bridgnorth and went straight to the cafe. My daughter was extremely excited when she saw the inside. The lady said we could sit anywhere and then come up to the counter to order. We sat down and started to look at the menu as my daughter had had no dinner (she dances 11-2). Browsing the menu I then noticed that it stated on the menu food only served until 3pm!!! I went to ask the lady just to confirm and she did, they only sell drinks and cakes 3-5pm. She had not told us this snippet of information when we arrived, however I heard her tell the next customer who arrived also. I suggest that when advising customers of opening hours and when customers arrive at the cafe that it is made clear that you do not serve food after 3pm. We came to bridgnorth (25 miles purely for this Harry potter cafe) and to say the least we were utterly disappointed and actually we ended up in Gregg's for food as we checked with approx another 5/6 places around the town that had also stopped serving food!!!!!

The place was really dirty when we got there, loads of plates and cups still left out from previous customers, we’d sat down for about 20 minutes before someone had even looked at it. Business wasn’t an excuse because they were bragging they were fully staffed. My coffee tasted like dishwasher fluid and it took 15 minutes for a new one to come. The atmosphere is….ok. I liked the quirky suitcases for the afternoon tea and there were other things that were ok in there too but the basics were all wrong

Great service, went in for breakfast then popped back for baked potatoes for lunch. Lovely atmosphere. Great place for Harry Potter fans.

What a hidden little gem! Lovely cafe with a great selection of very reasonably priced food and drinks. Definitely a place to visit when in Bridgnorth

Came here in August with a friend for her birthday as we absolutely love Harry Potter and had a fantastic time. We were booked in for the witches and wizards afternoon tea and had a little room to ourselves all decked out in harry potter themed items. The food was set up on the table ready for us in a little suitcase which was super cute! We had already emailed over which food and drinks we would like. Food quality was amazing there was so much of it we had to take some away with us! Scones were massive! When our time had finished they found some free seats in the Slytherin common room themed area. Staff were really friendly nothing was too much trouble, we can't wait to come back again 😊

Quite disappointed ☹️ took my mom for the witches and wizards tea as she loves Harry P… we had 3 cobs each, had to pick a cake (wasn’t much to choose from). We wasn’t asked which Harry P themed drink we wanted and was given some flavoured soda but I actually wanted to try the butterscotch beer 😔The cafe was cute, staffs attitude not so much…it’s like they just couldn’t be bothered and was too busy talking to their friends that had come in for food. I spent nearly £40 altogether and I’ve got to say it was not worth it unfortunately. 😢

We Had Booked Afternoon Tea Here And Waited For A While To Visit .. My Niece Who Is A Huge Harry Potter Fan Was Really Excited About Visiting.. When We Entered The Cafe We Where Told To Pick Our Cakes For Our Tea… The Options Where Bad To Say The Least… Every Cake/cupcake By One Or Two Where Gluten Free Or Vegan… Which Is Great If You’ve Dietary Requirements But Not So Great If Not…. We Asked If We Could Have The Chocolate Cake At The Time Which Was Refused Because It Wasnt Part Of That Menu … Disappointed We Ended Up With A Cupcake!! The Selection On Afternoon Tea Was Equally Disappointing The Sandwiches Where Not Sandwiches They Where Cobs Which Where Extremely Dry… The Scones Where Also Extremely Dry …. Everything Was Just Disappointing… The Atmosphere In The Shop Was Fine The Theme Was Absolutely Great But Other Then That I Wouldn’t Return Again It Was So Disappointing After The Amazing Reviews We Had :(

Nice food and drink nice and friendly staff worth a visit

Went here for the first time at the weekend. Was a bit cramped and not much space for a pushchair so had to leave it at the entrance, which annoyed other customers. The high chair we had to ask to be cleaned as it was filthy. Having looked at the menu we noticed there wasn’t much choice for lunch. Jacket potatoes or soup. There was also some pasty’s in the warmer. Shame they didn’t do sandwich but no bother. The jacket potatoes were cooked deliciously. The biggest disappointment for us was the staff, they all looked miserable and not one person smiled at us. Some customer service skills wouldn’t go amiss.

Love little find in bridgnorth. Food was yummy. Had the double breakfast muffin. It was delicious. Didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. Service was excellent. Staff were great and we could take our dog in there too. Highly recommend

My niece & I took my grandkids here yesterday for tea & ice cream. We are all Harry Potter fans and loved the atmosphere!! So much to see. The tea & ice creams were delicious too.

Came here with a friend, atmosphere was lovely. I had a latte and a cupcake, my friend had a pot of earl grey with milk, staff where really lovely Would certainly recommend

We went to celebrate my son's birthday, who, along with his sister, loves all things Harry Potter. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. The cream tea was amazing and extremely generous for the price (we didn't manage everything so brought some back in boxes!). The gluten free option was excellent. The service was superb, all the staff were so pleased we were there and the welcome was genuine. The atmosphere and theming was incredible, my children loved the Harry Potter theming so much. 100% would recommend and I will be returning one day soon!

Decor was good if you like Harry Potter. Food and service were ok but definitely had better. The afternoon tea was also more expensive than advertised online.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon. The sandwiches were delightful and the cakes were scrumptious. The hospitality was excellent. We will definitely return again. Anybody with young children who love Harry Potter, will not be disappointed.

This is such a shame. This place use to have a theme and character it use to feel magical some how but sadly there isn't just 1 theme now it's abit miss match. Service was slow. The lady doing the food did her best and apologised for how long it took which I thought was good customer service. The other two girls were bored and miserable. The food wasn't amazing it's sadly lost the spark. I really hope it can be brought back.

They had gluten free bread and desserts! As anyone who is gluten intolerant can agree it is hard to find somewhere for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Luckily they have gluten free rolls (lovely and crunchy) and even had a gluten free cheesecake and a flapjack. It was all so tasty and the people serving were lovely. Would take people back there in a heartbeat. Not a HP fan but can see the appeal as they've gone all out on the decor.

Very reasonably priced and delicious coffee, babycinos and tea cake.

Had to ask for the table to be wiped before our food arrived. Half hearted attempt to clean it leaving ice cream on it and had to ask again. Food arrived, can't complain about that. We had ordered 2 coffees with our food. These arrived after we'd eaten and other customers had been served with their orders and only after reminding them we were waiting for them. We did get them.

Very unusual and really reasonably priced little coffee shop. If you have a Harry Potter fan take them here.

I recently visited Platform 10, a Harry Potter-themed coffee shop, and while it had some enjoyable aspects, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The coffee was great and the staff were friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, they forgot our food order and we had to go back to the till to put the order back in as they had lost the ticket. This was a bit of a disappointment, but they quickly rectified the situation and we did receive our food shortly after. In terms of the Harry Potter theming, I found it to be inconsistent in some areas. While there were some fun and quirky nods to the series, such as the "Butterbeer" latte on the menu, the overall ambiance didn't quite match the magical and immersive feeling I was hoping for. That being said, the shop was cozy and had a nice atmosphere, and it was clear that the staff had put effort into creating a unique experience for visitors. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the products, and the coffee was definitely a highlight. Overall, I would recommend Platform 10 if you're a Harry Potter fan looking for a fun and themed coffee shop experience. Just be aware that the theming may not be consistent throughout the shop, and double-check your food order to ensure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

We have had afternoon tea 3 times in the last 3 months due to occasions! We keep going back because it's unbeatable value. Less than £18 and you get... Refillable lattes or other hot drinks Sandwich Sausage roll (big piece)! Quiche Beautiful homemade scone with clotted cream MASSIVE piece of cake (we were given 2 pieces)! Homemade fudge It's laid out beautifully in your own small side room. My niece had a gluten free vegetarian version which she was delighted about (her photo) This is a family business well worth supporting ❤️

Good cakes and coffee but no means of drying hands in toilet, and too slow to respond when pointed out. Not good enough.

Visited 4:30 on a Saturday so had the place to ourselves! The servers were very knowledgeable and friendly! Honestly, we're not Harry Potter fans and still enjoyed th atmosphere. Had 2 beautiful shakes, chocolate frogs and a cupcake. Extremely well priced and would return again if we were local! *no pics because I couldn't wait to drink it*

What an amazing experience we had, I was one of the party who attended the 1pm witches and wizards sitting today, 21st December 22, We had arranged the party for a friend who was visiting us over Christmas from Florida, we all had the most amazing time, the food and drinks were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, my youngest daughter enjoyed it so much she as asked if she could have a Birthday party with you in January 2023 so we will be in touch again soon, I can only suggest that you give this business a try and experience it for your self, once again thank you for an amazing time and an enjoyable experience.

Platform 10 is a Harry Potter themed cafe, it's pretty good for the kids but food and table hygiene is below Par. First the table was dirty, then the pudding was served before our Lunch, which was soup(Microwaved) so it was hot at the top and Cold at the bottom! The toastie arrived late(I think they forgot) and was barely toasted. Disappointed

We brought our teenage grandson to your cafe today as he loves Harry potter we had lovely food and good service only downside was no butter beer will have to get some on next visit

The kids thought it was magical. The colour changing stars in the ceiling were a great touch. Waffles on a stick were made fresh and soft, fluffy, crisp, sweet, and drenched in messy chocolate sauce or syrup of your choice. We had Kinder Beuno and a Biscoff. Sensational.

Just happened across this little treasure of a cafe. As a Potter fan I was delighted. Such a lovely place for a stop off good food and freindly staff. What more do you need.

Love it here. Our afternoon tea we had was delicious… Especially the homemade scones. The atmosphere is always nice & relaxed & watching our orders being prepared is good (we know the kitchen is clean & hygiene standards are up to scratch), our drinks are always made to perfection too. The staff are always really lovely, especially the blonde girl, who spoke to us on our last visit, she was so happy & cheerful. We’ve never had a bad experience whenever we’ve been in…. & anyone complaining of the smell of good food being prepared in an open kitchen really needs to get a life!

Quirky little shop full of curiosities and a coffee shop at the back. We sat outside in the sunshine and had a pot of tea and cheese and ham toasties, which were delicious. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Super funky Harry Potter train station themed cafe attached to the back of the shop This, That and the Other. Really reasonably priced but service was a little amateur and the smoke from burnt cheese on the sandwich toaster was a bit full on. It meant the staff kept opening the door and it was cold inside then. The waffles on a stick were a real highlight though and the Harry Potter drinks went down a treat too.
