The food was amazing!! The Karaage chicken is my favourite dish. We had great service from Virds, which made it a lovely occasion. We have been a couple of times and want to try different things on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely top notch food served with precise attention to detail. Individual flavours are distinctive in plentiful proportions. I'd certainly recommend the ALOO GOSHT MIRCH to anyone. A suttle dish to begin with... tender Lamb and fresh potatoe that allows a kick of warmth to end this delight. It is slightly hot...but great! Quick service, and helpful staff. Cocktails are also splendid. The night starts well... and I'd look to book for next time, and very soon I feel.

I have no idea why but it was our maiden voyage to Sabai Sabai and it was great! There was lots to choose from on the menu. I had a delicious sizzling beef and vegetable dish. I loved it. The flavour, spice, balance, ingredients and portion size, were spot on. My husband had a Thai chicken curry and he also thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t look at the wine or drinks list, so unsure of the choices or prices. We will return!

This place is disgusting! As much as I love being here on a Saturday night, the way the bouncers and owners have dealt with my friend is appalling. To grab her the way they did is wrong. She is of age and had proof of id which they let her in for however still treated her in such a way with no reason. When trying to speak to the bouncers and owners about this they were unreasonable and unhelpful. Instead of being polite they were rude and horrible. To deal with young girls like this is not acceptable no matter whether it’s their job or not! The bouncers here last night (04/05/24) were much more lovely and would never have done such a thing. I am stunned I cannot believe it.

We chose the Sunday roast and I can honestly the roast beef was probably the best I have eaten. The quantity was very generous and the veg and especially the cauliflower cheese was very good. The Pork roast was equally delicious and a generous portion. The service was attentive despite them being busy. I would not hesitate to return there. Thank you everyone for making us feel welcome.

Bensons fue mi puerto en una tormenta ayer: empapado en una repentina lluvia que salía de la Casa Natal de Shakespeare, me lancé porque era útil. He pasado por encima de ella tantas veces a lo largo de los años, pero sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en Stratford. Tuve un excelente brunch / almuerzo 'comida cómoda' - jamón, huevo y patatas fritas y un muy buen americano. El personal era amable y acogedor, el restaurante era acogedor y la comida era hermosa - jamón tallado adecuado, huevos perfectamente cocinados y un montón de patatas fritas a un precio muy razonable. ¡Y cuando me fui, el sol brillaba!

Very popular so always busy but great atmosphere and service.

Visitó como un grupo de 11 en la cena. Probé varios entrantes y principales / lados y la comida era preciosa y llegó bastante rápido, que fue increíble teniendo en cuenta que no habíamos pre-ordenado. Recomendaría el Tagine D'Agneau Piquant, Bruschette Viande y el Monkfish Royale solo por nombrar algunos.

This is a delightful old fashioned pub with superb caterers cooking wonderful Indian food. Sukhi who owned it is really pleasant and as soon as he heard I had a flat battery left what he was doing and brought out a charger then jump leads which was well over and above what I expected. He also made the AA man and myself mugs of coffee. I explained to her AA man how good it is so we will both be returning fir great hospitality Thank you Sukhi Much appreciated 👏 David

We’ve been recommended for some time by quite a few people to try the Old Castle but never quite made it until today. On a grey, rainy cold day we went in without a booking, but were greeted in a friendly manner immediately, and shown to a lovely table at the back. The pub is like a Tardis, looks small from the outside but goes on and on inside. Fabulous service, friendly, efficient, and helpful making choices and recommendations. And then came the food… probably the best steak pie I’ve ever had. Choc full of lean chunks of steak, a rich gravy, plentiful chips and some very good mixed vegetables. My husband had lambs liver, beautifully cooked,served with a soft buttery mash, with bacon and onions- super generous portions too It was beyond delicious. There was no room for dessert! I’m surprised anyone has room for dessert! Our only gripe was that we hadn’t been there sooner- we can’t wait to try the Sunday lunch, to go in the evening, and definitely to go in summer Can’t recommend highly enough

The food at Vena Restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. Mina, our server, provided exceptional service and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

In the area for the weekend at an Air B&B, not far away from this restaurant. Busy, but they fitted us in. Booked online no issues, table for 2. Seating wasn't great but we managed at a very busy time for them. Big birthday party on, but we still felt valued customers. Food was excellent. I had the sea bass starter, it was cooked to perfection and tasted out of this world. Portion sizes were great, I'm a big eater and didn't manage to eat it all. We had the set menu for £18.99, well worth it. Staff were great not over powering, there when we needed anything. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.
