If you love Thai food then this is the place for you! My fav cuisine and the red Thai curry is fab! Also tried the salt and pepper squid and the Thai fish cakes which were devine. Parking near by in fold street car park.

Great quality food fish and chips was the best i ever tasted

I was drawn in by the lovely smell of coffee when I walked past. I just about found a table for two of us as it was quite a busy time. Service was generally good. I had a flat white which is usually my standard coffee shop order, and it was decent. Lots of lovely looking cakes and pastries but I wasn't hungry so didn't try them.

Used to love coming to bear for food but my last couple of visits have been mediocre to say the least. Veggie breakfast this morning came out without halloumi (the main centre piece to a veggie breakfast) no communication that this would be the case. Spoke with a member of staff who thought they may have run out the previous day. Told a delivery had arrived and they would prepare some. I had to asked for the rest of the breakfast to be returned to the kitchen to keep warm.. the results a Luke warm (clearly been sat out on the side) breakfast with an overcooked poached egg. For £13.90 I'll be going else where in town for my breakfast.

Went to star inn recently with my mom and nan,Lisa was very helpful in ordering our meals,food was great and service incredible,if I could give more than 5 stars 🌟 I would,great staff and food and drinks great,will be going again.desserts lovely and refurbishment is up to an excellent standard.

Best pub grub ever! Enough said! First night meal and did not disappoint, cannot wait to work my way through the menu! Bring it on!

I visited the prince of wales many years ago , as I was in the area I popped in for a quick pint and something to eat, the pub hadn’t changed one bit , it still retains its old world charm. It is nestled in a little lane of the high street surrounded by similar 15th century buildings. In all a little gem and will return when in the area. If you like old historical buildings this place is a must

Afternoon cream tea for 21. Lauren, Dan and their staff laid on an excellent afternoon tea which was really enjoyed by all 21 . With ample notice they can lay-on small or large parties for your great experience. Well done and many thanks.

First time visiting and can't wait to go back. Main meals chosen by our group were mainly showing one chilli. Food come out and was a bit too spicy for us but was very manageable, they were showing one chilli after all. We were told we could ask for it to be less spicy next time. Service was spot on as were the staff. Superb restaurant. Food was really tasty. I'm craving prawn puri starter

Excellent food, and the desserts are home made and massive (boots enough to share! Hot on dealing with allergies too.

Loved it. Lovely food really nice staff who tried to accommodate a quiet corner for us. Will definitely go again
