Booked The Potting Shed for a private party last night!
It was fabulous and just as I wanted!
The venue is gorgeous, all the staff attentive, friendly, brilliant and went above and beyond, the food amazing and delicious ❤️🥳
Couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate with friends and family (it was so good, forgot to take many photoks)!!
Would 100% recommend to anyone. You deserve all the recognition. Thank you x

Took my parents for lunch as they'd been themselves before and said how nice it was. Was disappointing that although it was summer there were no salads on the menu even though my mum had had a prawn salad on a previous visit and was really looking forward to that again. There were no staple menu items like a burger so my partner struggled as he is very fussy food wise. I ordered a seafood board for 1 which was nice and the bread was amazing, but I would not say it was worth the price.
The food was nice though, there were plenty of cakeslices on offer for desert if you fancy cake and a drink too.
It was a treat to come here to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary in our bubble. Chris made us very welcome from the start, and her warmth really added to the experience, The food is excellent (not surprising given the AA Rosette awarded in the first couple of months of opening), and of course the venue of Judge Jeffreys's courtroom is special.
I'm already looking forward to coming back, whether for a full meal or coffee and cake. And the basil ice cream....

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual drink with friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of dishes that were well-prepared and full of flavor.
The service was excellent—quick, efficient, and friendly. The staff were polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Overall, a fantastic place to visit.

An absolute treat if you are parents looking for a relaxing break with little ones in tow. So much to do for the kids - we are still in awe of the huge games room (perfect to keep them happy in the cold weather!), as well as skittles alley (low tech bowling), movie nights with popcorn, pool, oh yes and FREE CHILDCARE! For the grown ups, the hotel itself is beautiful with lots of space to unwind, there are lovely walks from the hotel (if you can be bothered to leave), even spa treatments (Katie gave a fabulous massage). We were all so sad to leave!
Went to the gamekeeper for Mother's Day.
The Sunday roast was brilliant, you had a choice of 5 meats, and if you wanted to, you could have up to 3 on your plate and as much of the veg, etc as you wanted. It's really good value for the money. What let it down was the fact that they forgot to bring our desserts out and as 2 of them were ice cream by the time we got them ( had to chase them for the desserts) they had started to melt. But above all it was very good, very friendly. Well worth going and value for money.
