Took my parents for lunch as they'd been themselves before and said how nice it was. Was disappointing that although it was summer there were no salads on the menu even though my mum had had a prawn salad on a previous visit and was really looking forward to that again. There were no staple menu items like a burger so my partner struggled as he is very fussy food wise. I ordered a seafood board for 1 which was nice and the bread was amazing, but I would not say it was worth the price. The food was nice though, there were plenty of cakeslices on offer for desert if you fancy cake and a drink too.

We went for a family Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Very busy but the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and so were the desserts. Next time I am going to work my way through the brunch menu and then the cakes. We booked to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is very popular and nice and busy.

We came with friends as we had all been gifted afternoon tea, and chose to visit this tearoom. We booked just over a week in advance. What a great choice! A great selection of beautifully fresh finger sandwiches, scones, cream and jam. and a selection of small cakes, which were so light. Absolutely scrumptious. We weren't rushed, so we could sit and enjoy our food. The folk working in the tearoom were very welcoming and we had a delightful afternoon. Thank you!

It had been too long since we ate here. We had a great meal, shared a starter and a pudding as one of had steak and the other the carvery for main course. All very tasty and well presented. It was busy but the staff were there when we needed them. Thoroughly recommend The Sun for a good meal.

Lovely chilled out cafe in Lyme Regis, surf and skate themed decor, good coffee and a range of food.

We had an incredible experience at the Cross Keys. Mo and his team hosted my Father's funeral wake yesterday. The whole experience was incredible - made so special by Mo, Lucy, David and the girls. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt completely wrapped up in their arms from the moment we walked through the door to make the arrangements, right through to the day itself. I cannot thank the team enough for creating such a special celebration, which you planned so incredibly well. The delicious food platters were superb, and all the guests said what a beautiful venue it was. I was personally nurtured throughout the whole day, with Mo and Lucy checking in with me to make sure everything was perfect - and even David coming in on his day off to make sure my Dad's favourite music was being played. I can't thank them all enough from the bottom of my heart for all their kindness. We stayed in their family suite for the night. Our room was superb, with the biggest bed I've ever slept in, and beautiful views out onto the market square and the Conduit. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at the Cross Keys - the service is exceptional, the rooms amazing, and the breakfast was superb. We also had our evening meal in the restaurant, and it was exceptional. THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE TEAM AT THE CROSS KEYS - YOU ARE ALL AMAZING.
