Nice and hot and great tasting meal. Were also very helpful when we called ahead to ask about allergies. Great service!

The chips had been wrapped too early ahead of the rest of the order. They were also cold. I ordered mushy peas; they were missing from the order. I'm a regular at Daniels; that was a stamp card reduction, but I'm still very disappointed.

delicious as always, wish I could order your little donuts with chocolate and hazelnut spread in the middle in bulk !!!

Food was great, but over 30 minutes late. Called at 10 minutes late and was told the driver was there. Pretty sure our order was forgotten.

Delivery was originally estimated at 30 mins but ended up being delivered over an hour later. And I had to leave my building to go out into the cold bc the driver could not find my flat.

Fabulous service the staff were so friendly and helpful, they even let me try the curry sauce before I bought it. Great tasting chips and huge portions too. Definitely recommend a visit to Daniels

my favourite takeaway at the moment, chicken burger is a proper chicken breast that's crumbed not all the horrible bits all mushed together like some places do, good portion size of chips and the milkshakes are delicious too

I am disgusted with the Just Eat. Just Eat said my food would be here by 7:30pm and it didn't arrive till 8:45pm. I called Daniels & they said that no driver had turned up. Not happy!!!

Daniel’s food quality always great but just eat didn’t collect my order for delivery for 2 hours so my food reflected that was reheated etc. I will be using Daniel’s own website for ordering now on . Sorry guys I hope you understand this isn’t a reflection of your food quality rather poor service from just eat.

this is the worst dealing we have had with just eat o called the restaurant also only to be told the drivers have changed over and in total we have waiting until nearly 10pm for our food when we have children also it is not ideal at all order was placed at 7.20pm and arrived at 21.40 absolutely shocking food wasn't exactly hot either by the time it got here

The apo that your driver had gave the wrong address. It took him to New Clos Gardens in Rodwell Weymouth instead of 3 New Close in Wyke Regis Weymouth.

I have ordered from Daniel’s many times and they have been getting worse and worse over the last few months. Today’s order took ages to be delivered and was cold. I do not recommend them and won’t be using this restaurant again.

Took ages to arrive and was cold when it did. Daniel’s has gone downhill, chips are naff, cod is very thin and portion sizes have reduced. Really disappointed as this was my favourite chippy!

Not impressed with drlivery time as driver didn't turn up. So had to wait for another driver. Almost hour half wait.

Usually great service, but tonight put in a fair sized order with my visiting family, only for the food to arrive 2 hours later than the original delivery time. Family were not impressed and were ravenous by the time it finally arrived, shortly before they had to leave. Food itself was decent, but the evening was very much marred by the lateness of our dinner.

First visit last Wednesday as we'd just arrived on holiday and didn't fancy cooking. We had, Pie, Burger and Fish and Chips, all piping hot and delicious food, it was busy but the food came quickly and the staff were chatty and friendly, the chef worked hard and did himself proud! Second visit tonight, 3 burgers and fish and chips, and once again the food was 'outstanding' as my dad would say! It was very busy in Daniels tonight, but the food was ready before we knew it! The same friendly young man who served us was on duty again and the same chef. Brilliant job again guys, we'll be back and when we send friends down this way we will let them know where to get a great takeaway!

Every time we order chips from Daniel’s it is of the highest quality and always quickly made. The haddock is sublime!

Food and delivery fab as usual, couple of elements unusually missing, one portion of chips and garlic mayo the breaded mushrooms. But on a busy Saturday night, not worth asking for a correction, it hasn't detracted from our enjoyment of good food. Thanks

This is the Daniels in Chickerell Amazing fish and chip shop with great staff and a friendly atmosphere. In my opinion this is the best Fish & Chip shop in the South of England. Found them in March this year. The Cod is the best Cod that I have had in the last 25 years. Chips are brilliant and their homemade Mushy peas and Tarta sauce are amazing. I'm not from the area, but every time I'm down here I look forward to their food.

They don't treat the young staff well AT ALL!!!!! Horrendous place, it sounds like a very toxic place for any young person to work in.

As regular customers here we’ve just had the worst service and food since they opened ! The plaice and sausage and chips we ordered were not ready for collection at 6.30pm as requested. The staff then couldn’t find the plaice and left me waiting until 6.50 pm !! The food was cold not good considering the price. You would have thought that with a new Codfathers fish and chip shop just a stones throw-away they would have upped there game to keep up with the competition! But obviously not !! Sort it out guys or we’ll be going elsewhere in future

We travel in from Bristol most weekends as we have a caravan at Pebble Bank. It’s the best fish & chips ever… great service, especially Diamond who is very knowledgeable and is always recommending new food to try.

3 lads and fryer working Sat 16.11.2024 were great. One young chap overheard our conversation and began upselling items - good on him! Great food, great staff, can’t beat a Daniels. Looking forward to trying the battered pig in blanket!!

We are regulars to Daniel’s in Chickerell so much so that when we arrive they don’t even need to ask what we want - they just prepare it! The team are always friendly and calm even when it’s mega busy in the summer season. The food is always hot, very tasty and our daughter has an obsession with their Ferrero Roche milkshakes. We can highly recommend Daniel’s in Chickerell :)

food quality was poor fish over cooked , could taste oil in batter fish dry . there was no salt and vinegar, chips were what looked like scraps . very poor

We go to Daniels at Chickeral every Saturday lunchtime and buy 4 meals for the family The staff are so friendly and helpful and Diamond makes us laugh each time we go We have recommended the shop to others because food hot and tasty and made to feel welcome plus they remember are order each week Jason and Diamond Mr Alan Burt

waited over an hour, The time kept changing every 20mins. I've been a regular here and and in the past had few things go wrong but let it slide as its usually nice. This time i ordered chips and cheese and paid separately for beans so over £10 for chips cheese and beans, only for the cheese to be missing . ive been refused a refund for this. I'm not happy paying £9 for just chips. Of which I wanted the difference refunded. but was refused even after pictures being sent. Regular no more.

Really disappointed today, delivery kept getting delayed, the delivery person got lost and my son had to go and find him, then when it finally came chips were anemic and greasy, there was more butter than roll, there was only 6 scampi instead of 9 & the mint matchmaker milkshake didn’t have any flavour. Probably the worst I’ve had from here, hopefully a one off, as I usually love this place.
