I enjoyed my time here and the owners were very inclusive and gave me free tea and cakes and discount on my purchased items as I was here with my school and would happily return here definitely a brilliant experiance for work or a day out with your family

Everything brilliant except Saturday night dinner service. It took so long to get our meal we didn't have time to get changed before our event started and missed the first half an hour or so. Even with getting dessert to go the coffee and tea had been cleared away before we got back down

We always make a trip to Ryders when we’re visiting on holiday. Freshly baked produce including loads of tasty speciality items. Tasty coffee as well.

Love this place to have half a pint and watch the world go by Perfect.

I popped in for breakfast and found it a bit awkward. The signs were to the breakfast buffet which I assumed would be an all you can eat for a fixed fee. Instead you order at the bar then take your ticket to the buffet where the chef adds the items you have paid for. I’ve been spoiled by breakfast buffets and left disappointed. There were only a few of us in there around 9:15am

We enjoyed a meal here, the second time we have been here. Great, friendly staff, food was generally good. The restaurant is dog friendly. There were a few dogs in the restaurant. My only criticism is that I tried booking by phone and had no reply and then I emailed them but again never received a reply so we stopped there on the way to our holiday destination in order to book a table.

Checking times. Tonight. OCT 2023 Closed for refurbishment. A FOLLOW-UP. FEB.. 2025. I JUST DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE STILL CLOSED. ONCED SAID LAST YEAR THEY WERE GETTING A NEW CHEF. ????. I have to say it's the only local Chinese restaurant to sit in. The other two are Take Aways. I took a takeaway home. A Beef Curry (sauce a little hot)(not your normal curry sauce, in-house made.) and Plain Boiled Rice. Also Fried Noodle (thin type) and Beef (not chow mein) (there are a bits of green pepper, mushrooms, in it) also asked for Bean Sprouts with added onion, (perfect) Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Sauce. (It had in it onions, cucumber, carrots, and chucks of pineapple. Got to be made in-house and fresh).

We have been coming to the Welcome site for 30+ and have never tried welcome bite and I can tell you now we wont use it again..2 Pizzas one double peperoni { double 8 small slices of peperoni} cheese was so greasy it couldn't be eaten , 2 chicken burgers and a child's fish finger meal + one portion of chips came to just over £45 . it took ages to prepare so was cold by the time be got back to the caravan. the staff never spoke, first and last time we will use this.

Great tasting coffee and real grown up Hot Chocolate. Delicious!! Menu looked inviting and will definitely try in the future. Staff friendly and welcoming! Lots of locals.....good sign to me!

Visited yesterday and ordered 4 drinks/cakes. The coffees were perfect and not too strong. Again, the cake was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Not a great experience last week, sadly the chips tasted like dry oven chips and the cod batter was crunchy and over done. A shame because we’ve had lovely fish and chips here only a couple of months ago. Hopefully just a one off and will try again on our next visit to dawlish.
