Best fish and chips I've had in a vary long time! I nice way to finish our holiday in dawlish

Order is wrong again! Food quality ok in comparison with the last order. I give up ordering from here.

Absolutely spot on. We're currently staying in Golden Sands & after the nightmare on the M5, we decided to get something delivered & boy, we're we glad we chose here. Delivery was super quick, the delivery driver was lovely & even found our caravan! He's an absolute credit! The food was delicious & hot. I had the cheesy chips & double cheeseburger with doner meat. My wife had doner meat & chips. Both really were exceptional. We'll be ordering again!

Fairly friendly staff, food however really wasn’t nice, the kebab texture was gritty and didn’t taste nice at all, the pitta was extremely hard. Chicken nuggets kids meal was ok and the pizza was bland with no taste.

We came to Warren's chippy last week & we had wonderful food, fish & chips, & gluten free sausage & chips. It's so nice to have a gluten free option. Friendly service, & great food. Thanks again, we would highly recommend. We will be returning! 😊

I have been eating here since November as i work in dawlish , the food is always on point and the staff are great , super polite and will tend to whatever you fancy eating , burgers are great chips are great but I recommend the chicken kebab meat , game changer 😋

Had delivery from here last night while on holiday. Had a vegetrain pizza and really enjoyed it, lots of toppings. Also the delivery driver came to onto the holiday park to come meet us no problems, even out of season at 8pm mid week. Would happily order again from here :)

We were told 30 mins delivery..nothing arrived. Then told it was a 'newbie' who shouldn't have said that. They then quizwd me what they should do about it? What apuld I do about him?' Happy to accept delivery delays due to custom but such poor customer service with an attempt to seemingly appropriate blame to us. I'm,

We had a leaflet come through our door, having only just moved into the area, We gave it a try and my partner had fish and chips. I had a kebab and we really enjoyed it. Fast delivery will definitely use this place again.

A large group of us had a meal from here and we all enjoyed it. The kebabs burgers and pizzas were really good considering it’s a fish and chip shop. Will definitely recommend good portion sizes too!! Priced reasonably I personally wouldn’t think it was expensive at all. Friendly service and a very clean shop.

My family have had food from here on several occasions until this weekend, I had been ill and didn't want to eat or cook food and my youngest son who was also ill said he just wanted chippy chips ,so sent the hubby and eldest son down to Warren Chippy, They ordered a large cod costing £10 ,two large chips , a savaloy and curry sauce , the cod was absolutely tiny, the chips were dry and full of horrible bits ,and some were green, Husband rang to tell them and got fobbed off with its a fillet it goes on weight. Anyone can see from the pic they obviously messed up and put a regular piece of cod in by mistake , look at it , its tiny and definitely not large or the weight they claim, so I shared a pic of our so called " large cod" under one of their pics on Facebook saying its a shame ours wasnt as big as their photo, but they don't like anyone commenting negatively on their Facebook page either, they delete any negative comments and then block you . How very mature of a business in this day and age . A shame they couldn't just hold their hands up, apologise and say fair enough we failed on this occasion but no they tried fobbing us off firstly with a sarcastic comment about fillets being the best cut blah and posting a link to a page about fish, then when I replied with a picture of the awful green bits of chips and they couldn't justify those with any reply so they delete it and block you. Cracking business ethics there lol Can't complain about the curry sauce though , the kids really enjoyed that with their bits of dry and green chips.

Don’t advertise delivery if you can’t deliver for over an hour and half. Bad delivery cold food. Never again. Why do tourist towns not care about the locals?

Popped in to grab some chips after work, it was getting late and wasn't sure they'd still be open. Luckily for me it was! All the staff were super friendly. The chips were cooked fresh to order and were really tasty. We will certainly be back for more in coming weeks.

Large cheesy chips £6.50? For a spud and a bit of cheddar? Must be smoking some strong gear these people! I know Britain’s gone mad in over charging people but will it not come to a point where people just walk past the place like i did this time on my recent visit? Stop ripping people off and you will get a lot more customers, absolute jokers.

Ordering was easy and the lady on the till was great. Looks like a long queue but went fast. Order was large donor with chips and a small meat and chips with cheese. Went back to collect the food after 15 mins and was told I wasn’t charged for cheese so had to pay £1.75 extra…. Not a big issue but then found out the order was incorrect. Was told “sorry but it’s already been made”. They did agree to fix it but we were told it would be a wait. Again not an issue but the person making the food was very rude and accused us of changing the order. After 10 mins the order was remade, which was very fast. Then when we got back to our accommodation we found the order was still wrong and items were missing. Chips missing and the cheese was in a separate pot so wasn’t melted. Chips were great but meat is very mediocre and gritty. Massively let down by the rude women making the food, short, black hair, massive eye lashes :0

I don't often leave negative reviews, but the food was absolutely awful on this occasion; a total waste of money. The mozzarella sticks were inedible as the cheese was overcooked, it was basically just burnt breadcrumbs. The kebab was cold when it arrived. The fish and chips were overpriced, and not great either. I will not be ordering again!

Great BBQ chicken pizza and nice cheeseburger

Placed order on just eat, arrived to collect and waited to be served for a while, was told 15 mins wait so wondered off and came back. Ordered 2 chicken kebabs with pita, and sausage and chips. Received a mixed meat kebab (including doner meat) and chips, not what I ordered. Other kebab was chicken we think, but coated in in a red oily sauce and just had a small pitta bread on top. Both were greasy and tastless, very disappointed and felt sick. Chips were okay but couldn't taste any salt or vinegar despite asking for it. And as for the sausage, well that went straight in the bin, witnessed staff take it out of the freezer, wiggle it around in some water and put it in my order, it was stone cold and no way was I eating it. Absolute waste of money, and certainly just a tourist trap for the holidaymakers and we certainly won't be back, much better places around.

Visited while on holiday. Firstly Google and leaflets stating opening time of 3.30 but didn't open until 5.45. There are no board with list of what food is available or costs. Only a few leaflets just put on the side. Very slow service as they appear to take three orders then make up and then that more. We found chips and fish perfectly cooked. But burger and pizza very uncooked. Very high prices for items. We wouldn't use again.

Food was amazing but no prices on the menu or in the take away. To find out the prices you have to go online. I'm sure by law you have to display the prices. Paid for food and was charged £10 for a peice of cod.

Ok wait time was too long and everything was pricey but its holiday season

My daughter placed order online, said collection in 20 minutes, took me about 15 minutes to get there, they hadn't even started to cook order!! Had to wait an extra 15 minutes before getting order, staff member apologetic when this was mentioned but didn't seem sincere enough. Food was OK but nothing special, freshly cooked which in itself was a bonus, curry sauce average.

Not the firat order with them and second time round it was still bad. Waited over 2 hours for our food and so far no sign. When chasing for the second time no apology, no time given for its delivery just the same response as the 1st chase of it will be with us in 10 minutes. Not the way to do business and will never order from them again! If we could rate no stars we would. And to top it off we get the wrong order

Very clean Ordering system very good, place order at the till on the right inside the shop, you get your receipt with order number on it, wait for your number to be called, collect food…easy peasy. The chips were ok All the pies are Pukka pies so you either like them or you don’t. Hubby had the mince beef & onion, he said it was ‘alright’ but Pukka aren’t his fave but it’s edible. They do donner kebabs. The peas are very mushy & a bit watery (to make them go further) Gravy was nice. Daughter had a meat pudding and she said it was more of a pie than a suet pudding. Jumbo sausage were nice. Curry was THICKKKK !!! Oh my…sooo THICKKKK !!! 😳😳😳 It was spicy. The woman that served me was the sort not to be messed with, she chucked the last item of my order in the bag & sent me on my way without a thanks & bye. It was busy, she looked stressed & hot & shouted…a lot 😳🫣🫣 I really wish that chippies darn sarf would serve an order such as ‘chips, peas & gravy’ ALTOGETHER in the tray like we do up north instead of having a portion of chips, pot of gravy & pot of peas…NOOOOOOO…ALTOGETHER is the BEST way EVERRRRRR !!!! When we go back to Welcome family caravan park, we will eat from here again as the food was ok but not excellent. 3/5 🤗🤗🤗
