Absolutely lovely food and flavours

Worst Chinese we have ever had, it had a hair and eyelash in the food, no taste at all, and all the food was very greasy

Our local Chinese. Always very pleased with the food. Far less greasy than others we have tried. Always tasty and good sized portions. Never disappointed.

We had 1/2 crispy duck and pancakes and it was AWFUL. The duck meat comes in a small box already shredded and it was 50% fat. It definitely wasn’t the amount you get when you have a 1/2 duck on the bone. It was over priced and certainly not worth it. We won’t be visiting again.

Always a fantastic meal. Really quick service and never had to wait long.

Spent £33 feeding three of us and portions along with the quality of the food was excellent and I will definitely return in future

This is the *only* Chinese take away we ever use. They don't deliver but it's well worth going there to collect because the food is always amazing, fresh & far less greasy than many other take aways. We've tried crispy duck, sweet & sour prawn balls, egg fried rice, chow mein & they're also really good at catering for vegans if you ask (satay bean curd and salt and chilli bean curd are amazing)

We have tried all the Chinese in Newton, Chudleigh and Kingsteignton....China House is the best. The food is not too salty, portions are generous and they never disappoint.

First time that I’ve tried this place , the whole experience was brilliant, ordering, collection bang on time , and the food was amazing , definitely be going back to have what my sister had , loved mine but tried hers and it was delicious too, we couldn’t eat it all as there was so much !!

Handy takeaway Had it twice with no complaints and it's not greasy

The food was so bland and mush. The sauce on top was about a spoonful. Meat was chewy. Plus three of us in the house has had upset stomach. Also felt the staff were very rude, making comments, laughing and talking about people that just ordered. Wouldn't recommend.

Decided to give it a try as my local was shut. What a mistake bland food obviously reheated spent tbe next 24 hours on the toilet would not recommend

I purchased special fried rice, chicken balls and bbq sauce, the special had the full bits of meat on the bottom which is perfect, could do with a bit more bbq sauce on the meat but I'm being very picky, chicken balls could have been a little bigger but were still very nice, bbq sauce was a winner, all in all a really nice meal with good service, I will be going back again and i recommend to others.

Food was pretty nice but they gave me noodles packed with dead animals when I specifically asked for veggie stuff. Bit of a shame. Too far to drive back. Please be more careful 🙏

Sorry but the ribs were very fatty and no flavour and the pork in sweet and sour was like it was really old, and there was only 1-2 bits of pinapple. Nothing smelt or tasted right.

We have been ordering for 3 years since move to Kingsteignton and I can honestly say we were never disappointed! Food is amazing, large portions, arrives fast and steaming hot. Every time we have visitors we order large quantity and all guest are always impressed! Our favourite is Satay Chicken sauce, Chow main is amazing too. Vegetables always nice and still crunchy, never overcooked. We have tried Fung S. in village couple times and every time regretted it and go back to China house :-)

There is only this place and one other that hits the mark for me. Never had a bad meal from them ,and salt and chilli chips are a refreshing change from the normal 😁. Seaweed is on point nothing is too salty and fresh every time. Well done.

Traditional British Chinese takeaway. Food was nice, well flavoured and plenty of it. Could have done with more chilli and less suger for me. Will order again.

Worst Chinese ever. No veg in veg chow mein. Runny sauce in Cantonese sweet and sour chicken plus slimey undercooked chicken. Avoid!

This has to be the worst Chinese I have ever had the displeasure of trying to eat. With the reviews this Takeaway had I had high Hope's but was inedible. Everything was over cooked, was like trying to eat straw. Needless to say will not be ordering from here again. The only reason I gave it one star was I needed to get this off my chest.

Dispointing for me first my rice was forgotten soon resolved and sorted. I only had chicken balls and egg fried rice.. Chicken was really dry sweat sour sauce was super runny and just didnt enjoy it tonight unfortunately 😐

Really excellent meals from here especially their curry dishes, plenty of meat nice helpings, would recommend this takeaway to everyone! Also forgot to mention their delivery service is very fast and efficient 😀👍

Found a lot of hair in my food had to throw it away

This restaurant had been a favourite of mine for years. We've ordered at least once a month and had always found the food perfect.... I'm not sure what happened recently when the new menu arrived. My favorite dishes just aren't the same. The duck that came with our pancakes didn't taste oriental at all. The crispy chicken wings were dry .. Not just on the outside ... Right down to the bone. The crispy squid was chewy and inedible. Things just taste different and not in a good way! I'm feeling very sad..... I think I need to find a new Chinese takeaway 😞.
