Roccia Rossa Caffe in Teignbridge

Been here multiple times and always had good food and a warm reception. Everyone is always really helpful and friendly but a big thanks to Ronan for making us feel well looked after.

Maybe one of the favourite cafes of the exeter uni cycling club, this place is perfect for a mid ride stop for coffee, cake or for lunch. They have a great lunch menu and loads of cakes to choose from. There is plenty of cycle parking inside the cafe so no need to worry about leaving bikes outside. Great place for a pit stop overall!

Popped in as I was passing. I haven't been in here for about 18 months or so. The general layout seems to have changed a bit. The cafe looked clean, bright and airy very few customers in. Staff were friendly and polite. I ordered a coffee and bacon sandwich. I'm not sure what strength the coffee is but it was unbearably weak. My bacon sandwich arrived with the sandwich placed on top of the napkin.....why? This only serves to make the napkin greasy. I wish cafes would stop doing this! I don't think the bacon was grilled, as it was quite tough.. Sorry Knotts deli I'm off to Orsinos next time I'm in town.

The place wasn’t as clean as one would hope to find it, and the food on both visits was utterly awful: tasteless, overpriced, very clearly microwaved, haphazard, thoughtless etc etc. A bacon bap or sausage roll from Spar is significantly more tasty, filling and worthwhile.

What a beautiful, calming and delectable stay we just had! Nicole and the rest of the team are so lovely and helpful! The food is divine, the drinks are decently priced and the rooms are wonderful and quiet even when there's lots going on it's very barely likely to disturb (and I wake up to a pin dropping sometimes) the views are stunning, the closeness to the beach and town is ample to just leave your car where it is and take a beautiful, less than 10 minute walk to them. I will be coming back next year and I am going to enjoy it just as much if not more than I did this time around!
