The best restaurants in Swindon South West

Doesn’t matter what mood I’m in, I’m always in a Nando mood. And I always have the double wrap. This food is incredible, chicken always cooked to perfection (and I’m very fussy when it comes to chicken). The spicy rice is pretty amazing too and I always order the Halloumi. And then there’s cheesecake! This is the perfect night for me and I would absolutely recommend

We visited this branch today myself and my mum who is 89. Dan was extremely helpful with my mum helping her with the costa app to get her free drink. We cone here most weeks all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Best costa I've been too. Always very busy but the staff are efficient and never a long wait. Well done to you all. And thank you.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. This time it was terrible, the service was the worst. One course came out for myself and then had to wait ages furniture rest of the food for my family which then came out slowly. The staff don’t seem to care and require proper training. I won’t be visiting again

Order turned up within specified time. Delivery driver was polite. And it's a domino's so the Pizza was good.

Once again Carol shows her skills with this homemade Chicken pie.... well I say chicken, also bacon mushroom and leeks with a puff pastry lid... we both ordered it with veg mash and gravy and on a chilly Autumn evening it absolutely hit the comfort food spot ... a great big hug of a plate...

Steve and his team (especially Andrew and Charlotte) were absolutely brilliant from the outset, helping with the prep to ensure everything was in place for the event. The team were tentative, professional and friendly throughout, which lead to a very successful 30 year school reunion!!! Venue was ideal for our group of 45 people in this private space, with Steve giving us pure autonomy, we had drinks on arrival, music of our choice, we dressed the room to our liking including a backdrop/selfie light for photo’s and use of the TV to display pictures. Accessibility access and a P&D car park opposite. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking to hold an event!!! Thank you to Steve and his staff!!

We had our wedding here, from ceremony to reception. Grace and her team were faultless. Grace guided us through the day, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She made us both feel relaxed and looked after. The rooms were beautifully set up, the wedding breakfast was lovely and the in house DJ had everyone on the dance floor. A perfect day, we would highly recommend having your special day here. We even had some cheeky treatments in the hotel spa the day before. Just what you need before your big day ❤️. Had our works night out at the pub. food was excellent and well priced.staff were first class we enjoyed our evening many Thanks Nick

Ordered the pork katsu, it was pleasant and plentiful and cost £12.50, it was about right for a non Japanese speciality restaurant. Getting my receipt to claim it back on expenses has been a little labourious. The breakfast delivered to your room was good and perfect way to start the day. Most disappointingly was that they had no draft lager.

Fab fish and chip shop, would rate as one of the best in the town. Lovely tasty chunky meaty cod & great chips. We’ve had many takeaways from here over the years and never had a bad experience. Friendly staff - clean premises - good food. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give a minus review I would. Food arrived late. Rice was so stodgy and overcooked. When I called for a replacement I was met with the offer to refund but no replacement (meaning all I had was some chicken....not exactly a meal!) when I asked for replacement they said I'd have to pay for delivery again....I don't think it's unreasonable for an error to be corrected at no extra expense to the customer. Manager refused to talk to me so had to speak via the counter assistant who, when I politely argued my point (I never raised my voice and I empathised entirely with how busy they must be) she hung up on me. I called back thinking it was a mistake but they just hung up straight away proving it was intentional. They then refused to answer my calls. I've had no refund and by the time the ordeal was over (not sorted) the chicken was cold. Appalling "service" and I will not be ordering from here again. I strongly advise others to avoid as if anything is wrong, they will do nothing to correct it.

Simply not good enough. Food took 50mins to come out - and we were hugely disappointed. ‘Cheesy ‘ Doritos sharer was the most depressing cold scrap of food I’d ever had the misfortune of having - and not one glimpse of cheese or cheese sauce as described. Chips were tepid and pretty soggy and lifeless. The burgers had less beef in them than Tesco horse burgers - and were sloppy and messy and tasteless. Only saving grace were the onion rings, which were nice in all fairness.. hence the two stars. Also - all burgers were advertised with a free drink, however my limited edition burger somehow did not come with one, which was frustrating. After leaving most of the food and on the way out, I mentioned to a staff member how poor the food was, and he just murmured and carried on with whatever he was doing on the till, no apology or anything - so we left annoyed. Also, I genuinely never make a fuss about poor quality of food. But this took the biscuit. Will not be returning . Must do better

Ordered food through Ubereats and it turned up so cold you couldnt eat it, phone to advice issue as was abused by staff , PS I don’t think they like women, I would never order again fro this place disgusting

Food was absolutely beautiful. Not only did the spicy Biriyani have loads of flavour but it was full of Lamb and one of the best I’ve had in Swindon and even better than that it was also one of the cheapest, proving that expensive doesn’t mean good. I had a spicy chicken tikka Masala and again I can only say the same about that dish, it was perfectly balanced. Definitely going to order from there again and again……

The slowest service for coffee ever - 5 staff and just couldn’t cope - really not worth waiting for - not even that many customers!
