Worst kebab in 40years lamb meat tasted and looked like chicken and the chicken was 40% fat and gristle. When contacting the shop I was assured my anemic looking chicken tasting meat was lamb,and no mistake was made.. never again

It's always hit or miss with this place the fish was good,but the chips were nasty dry,over cooked I went when it just opened Friday better off not paying good money for substandard food.

Takes a lot to impress me but this was 10/10 lovely staff and food was spectacular! A friend recommended it and it blew me away. My friends vegan and hers was amazing too!

Fantastic place, wide and varied menu, pizzas, fish and chips, kebabs, burgers, lock stock, the lot. quick and friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices. great place.

Worst food in Swindon chips were stale as a bone I wouldn't feed this To the homeless place wants boarding up and shut up never to see the light of day again oil can't of been changed at least 20 years or more absolutely vile call there self's a British take away they need to think again I'd rate those a ZERO MINGING

guys please be very carefull while paying through cards at this shop. They are basically cheating and putting in more money on their card readers. I was charged £120 instead of £20 .They dwliberately do it and dont even ask for receipt. I confronted them and they just ignore it but it has happend to many of my friends. Please be careful while paying and always ask for recipts.

Ordered food came to house cold and lacking certain items that was ordered Rang the shop who where very rude won't be ordering from there again

Had good food in the past so I pre-ordered food for a scheduled delivery slot. They had over an hour's notice, yet it isn't here over an hour later. I know it was dispatched late which I can't fathom, and apparently there's bad traffic. I could've driven to Reading for my food in this timeframe, it's madness. I also had to feed small people before bed so a late arrival of 7pm was useless. Just not good enough. Apologies don't really get you anywhere.

Been here a few times now not had a bad meal yet burgers are really nice and not badly priced ,only down side is parking but they offer delivery

Oh my goodness is all I can say !! We came here last Tuesday after being recommended by friends and we weren't let down. The food was absolutely beautiful.

I always go for the britannia special and it's one of the best kebabs I have had and always recommend these to other people

We have used brittania kebabs for 3 years and always recommended tonight we ordered exactly same as pervious with salad seperate form kebabs as previous never been a problem but tonight arrived all on top rang the take away only be told don’t always read notes 😂 hey could have had allergy but hence told after all this time must pay seperate I would like to thank the person I spoke to for the great customer service and will not be using them again shame after so much support in the past

Food very good ,when others are buying even in restaurants potatoes from the bag they do real potatoes and thise days hard to find something like that. Staff very friendly and nice guys!

Don't advertise that you're open until 12am and then come off of justeat at 10:55!

Britania was nice place before but since 4 months ago quality of food decrease . Hot wings not very well cooked , donner kebab had bones and sometimes not very well roasted , kofte was burned. Please change providers and people will be thankful again

Honestly would not even give this place one star if i could. Utterly disgusting food and appaling customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The chips were soggy, the chicken was raw and my kebab was drenched in sauce! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Genuinely used to love this place, it was one of the very few places I ordered from regularly. But then I found a fingernail in my pizza!! Absolutely disgusting. When I called I got told that "they don't cut nails in the kitchen". They offered to replace my food but obviously have been put off for life. I actually didn't pursue it for a while since I didn't want to think about it, but I tried emailing them for a complete refund which got ignored. I haven't been chasing them which I regret not doing (feel like it's too late now) but still debate about reporting them to Food Standard Agency. Also such a minor thing compared to the fingernail thing, but they also sent my lachmacun without chicken somehow. Devastating, as they had the best lachmacun until this incident.

Fish soggy and bland. Chips arrived Grey, cold, dry and you could tell been recooked. Save yourself disappointment and go somewhere else.

Used regularly but sadly gone down hill. And whoever is answering the phone desperately needs some lessons in customer service.

My first visit here most likely my last. Was not impressed at all. I ordered Chips and Large battered sausage. The chips were dry and leathery in texture like they been stuck in the warmer to long. The batter on the sausage was not crispy. Overall didn’t enjoy my food had to bin half of it.

had home delivery the was cold full of grease most went into bin was very sick after HAD THE WRONG ORDER FRIST TIME TOLD TO UNWRAP IT AND REWRAP BY THE TAKE AWAY

The service is utterly appealing, I have been here numerous times as the food is decent but twice I have had issues and the guy in the phone couldn't care less. We ordered a sausage and chip meal through uber eats and all they had to say when I said the meal was missing as the sausage was not there was well its not the whole meal is it... Food has been twice as long as stated and they just say it'll get there eventually. Disgraceful.

Food and customer service was great. Taste was exceptional. Just need to increase the quantity i think or may be i was a bit hungry 😊

Fantastic staff and very friendly when we have been in the shop we have just ordered a takeaway came very quick the kids loved the children meals always get finished and very good size I had a large kebab and very delicious salad always fresh and the chips our amazing best kebab shop in town keep up the good work

Have visited here many times since it opened to grab a quick dinner on my way home at whatever time, as they open early and stay open til late! Have tried their fish and chips and kebabs, both are great and never fail to please. Staff very friendly too, would highly recommend.

Ordered the Britannia special, wow excellent full of all different kebabs all very tasty and cooked to perfection. The amounts of food was excellent enough for 3 to 4 people. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I order large lamb kebab , service was nice, quick time for my order to be finish how ever when I open box with my kebab...disappointment hit me. Was really small on start few little pieces of lamb , nearly no salads except onions (plenty of that). Taste was not bad how ever there is much more better places to have yummy kebab in town.

Really friendly helpful staff, generous size portions. Fish batter nice and crispy...kebab tasty and salad fresh. Good all round local takeaway. Havent tasted the pizzas.

Excellent food ! The fish and chips and chicken burger was great. The people there are friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommended. And it's halal and muslim friendly food.

Love this new addition to the area. Been here a few times since the Brittania opened. Each time the reception is warm and helpful. The food is good and freshly cooked. There is a wide variety from kebabs and burgers to fish and chips. Important, if you want something different you must try the sloppy burgers. They are a mixture of a burger in a bap with kebab meat and salad. But make sure you are hungry as they are a big and messy mouthful!
