Friendly and warm greeting. Coffee was good. Inviting menus. Breakfasts looked good. Attention to detail required. Dirty tables first thing on a Monday morning and shelving!!

We are great fans of Boswell’s in Trowbridge and were delighted to find one in Swindon by accident. The building isn’t as iconic as the Trowbridge one but makes up for it with more space. The staff as always were very friendly and helpful and the coffee and cakes were spot on. A great place to pass an hour or so while waiting for the Wyvern Panto to start!

Horrible experience. We had to send the drinks back because the SMELL of the cup and glass was sickening. it was like they were washed in dirty water. Food was OK but after smelling that vile stench, we couldn't eat. I will give a huge thumbs up for Gentleman who was very understanding, and very apologetic though. Sorry Boswells, we won't be coming back.

Great value a bright spot in Swindon grimy centre, good value coffee as good as that other well known brand, and cheaper

Ive always loved Boswell’s so I decided to pop in for a tea and a bite to eat just before an appointment. The food order went smoothly by a regular lady called Lyn who is very nice. Unfortunately I had to wait a long time for my drink as they seemed to be getting in a bit of a pickle at the till there was no organisation and no normal friendly interaction. It was all made better when a young lady came over with my food and was very complimentary towards me I think her name was Maisey and her customer skills were second to none. Just a few little tweaks and it could go back to how the old Boswell’s was when it was in the Brunel

A rude member of staff told us to find somewhere else to sit downstairs after we had sat down because they wanted to mop the floor at 3.15pm. We'll visit the nearby Costa in future.

We went into this cafe on 13th May, the staff were amazing, there wasn’t enough room at the table we sat at as we had three full breakfast’s so I sat at the next table, a member of staff noticed and asked “would we like the tables pushed together” which we said yes, nothing was too much trouble, we had our daughter and granddaughter with us, needless to say the baby found it amusing as she was throwing her food on the floor, just about to clean the floor but the staff were on it straight away, the food is also very good, thank you for a lovely experience, we will be back 😊

Nice venue. Prices reasonable. Not happy to see salads being prepared with bare fingers. What's wrong with tongs and gloves

The staff was really friendly and always smiling and helpful. The food and drinks was really nice and food was hot. The Boswells cafe was so comfortable and the staff was always upto standings with the cleaning and clearing tables aswel. 100% recommended and will go back in the near future.

I cannot state highly enough what a fab cafe this is ! From the moment we entered we were welcomed at the door by a lovely lady! All of the staff where very friendly and the service was excellent. Our bacon/sausage baguettes were freshly prepared so it took a few minutes, before being brought to the table, but this was not a problem at all. Food was really good, flat white coffee was creamy and really good flavour coffee- great. The staff are a credit to you, this was our first visit and we were very impressed. Not sure what happened on the previous review, but we did not experience any bad service at all. Visit was Sunday23 April.

Visited Sunday to enjoy a coffee in the sun with hubby. There was a lady cooking food with no apron or hat... surely that should not be acceptable? Took ages to place the order as staff was very slow and it was the worst coffee I've ever had. Not going back there again

Great new location for Boswells in Swindon on Regent Street. Good decor and recommend taking a seat upstairs where it is quieter. Staff were excellent and provided attentive service. Reasonably priced freshly made to order food. Will certainly be back!

We've not visited Boswell's in years, so this is the first time since they moved locations. The usual crowd-pleasing menu, and a newer, refreshed venue. My children pointed out the relaxing atmosphere and nice choice of paint colour.

We had breakfast. The vegetarian option was good. However, the English breakfast had just bacon, beans, and scramble egg. I was a bit disappointed that I had no tomatoes or mushrooms. Very good coffee.

We come here most Saturdays, two teas and a toasted teacake or a sandwich. It doesn't seem to alter much, the same good quality food.

There’s much nicer coffee shops in town in my opinion. Staff weren’t friendly. Sadly nothing stood out. For that reason I won’t be returning.

Popped in for tea and a sandwich , most sandwiches have to made fresh so always nice (could do with a bit more filling and thicker bread ) .Plenty of room and space and seating .

My family and I decided that it was lunchtime,so we chose to try Boswells in the Brunel centre Swindon.As we have been into the Boswells in Oxford.Anyway,we found a table sat down, our order was taken ;I had the all day breakfast with a coffee which was cooked just right served with a smile which means a lot.Plus we had two little children with us ,the staff were very helpful.When in Swindon again will keep Boswells in mind for another visit

It is really difficult sometimes to find a cafe that does gluten-free options for a light lunch. It was only when I asked if something was gluten-free that they brought out the gluten free menu. Please Boswell's, advertise that you have a fairly large gluten-free menu of light lunches! My jacket potato was lovely.

Visited on a Saturday morning....used to be our go to stop for breakfast in town and as not visited for a while decided to pop in. Wish we hadn't....breakfast was awful....disgusting scrambled eggs....floppy fatty bacon....soft in fact soggy toast. Not nice....won't be our go to anymore!

We stopped by for a quick break while shopping in Swindon town centre.I was hoping to rest my feet, but had a long wait in the queue to get served.When we arrived, quite a few of the tables were unusable as there were the remains of the last customer's drinks on them, although these were cleared before we left.It was too busy either, and was about 2.30 on a Friday afternoon.We only had a couple of cups of tea, which were fine.It seemed the waitresses spent a lot of time wandering around with food, looking for whoever had ordered it.I'm no expert but I am sure the ordering and food delivery could be quickened up.

I've visited boswells for the last 4 years and I've enjoyed it every time , I usually have lasange or jacket potato, both taste amazing with good portion sizes too, the lasange comes with a baguette and fresh salad although I can never eat all of it as its too much. The carrot cake is also lovely so definitely worth a try .Very clean and relaxed atmosphere with friendly polite staff.

My Pannini was dry as a bone, with a handful of undressed leaves on the side. My friend has a jacket potatoes, which again was dry and cold. The coffee was fine, but avoid the food.

Myself and my boyfriend went to this cafe and were left (so far) twenty minutes for them to heat up a panini. That was already made....it wasn't busy and they had plenty of staff just walking around. The boy cleaning the tables walked aimlessly when he wasn't cleaning tables. We could see him loitering by the kitchen door...I ordered a cheese panini and it has now been 25 minutes and the people who were ahead of us in the queue still haven't got their food either. It is overpriced (more expensive than Starbucks) and has awful service.

Good for a bite to eat, tasty food even if it is a bit pricey. The jacket potatoes are delicious! Staff are friendly.

Had a very nice (and very large) jacket potato with salad for lunch. Quickly served and nice tasting. Also had a nice smoothie to go with it, made with real strawberries (as the tops were still in there!).

Eaten here quite a few times lately and love it. It's always quite busy which is good sign too. Although it's slightly more expensive than others cafés it sure is worth it. You get what you pay for !

This cafe provides a good selection of food and a choice of fruit salads, which I was glad to see. The fruit was fresh and tasted good. My brother had a hot panini, which he also enjoyed.The staff were friendly enough and gave good service. There was a large, clean seating area and the atmosphere was welcoming. The only drawback is that it was a little noisy, due to being in the shopping centre.

Nice place to pop into during a shopping trip. Nice range of food that was well-prepared and the service was very good. Considering it was quite a busy day, there were tables available as the turn-around is quite high, but you don't feel rushed by the staff.
