Was over charged and food wasn't good. Cost me £80 for 2 adults 2 small children

This place can be hit and miss at times the quality of the food really differs from visit to visit

Grace was our server and was very friendly and helpful. We find that all of the staff at this rest are pleasant and professional. Food is consistently good.

OK chicken sandwich, not a lot of food places open, so was pleased to find Jack's for coffee and snack

Tried the Rat Trap today after many years as didn’t rate the food much before. However heard about the new menu so thought we’d try it. We were very pleasantly surprised, looks nice inside and the food was very good. The light bites are still a good size, the food was fresh and very hot AND served on hot plates (hate lukewarm food). We will definitely be returning 😊

Having been recommended by a friend, hubby and I decided to pay an "early doors" visit for a spot of dinner. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed, Jess behind the bar was an absolute delight and extremely friendly (as were the Landlord and Landlady). The food was sublime! I had the Hanging Peri Peri Chicken on a skewer - visually amazing - and very tasty. Hubby had the Belly Pork with Black Pudding. Shame we had no room left for dessert! Thank you so much, we shall return.

Brilliant curry, authentic flavours and always deliver on time

We visited with family and dogs for an evening meal - my husband has stayed here a couple of years ago and recommended the food and it was half way for both parties and in easy access of Marlborough/M4. The food was lovely and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Recently painted there walls however did not put a wet paint sign anywhere and my designer bag was leant to it and now stained with black paint, very unprofessional from a company like this with 0 notice.

everytime I order the approx time is 10-30 mins, then the time increases multiple times. stop advertising low wait times and be more realistic, yes traffic happens etc but seems to be a reoccurring theme no matter when we order. The portion of fries size also needs to be reviewed for the price that you are charging.

We went out for my uncles 70th, it was a quite but welcoming pub. The staff was lovely and really friendly! The food was perfect too! The fish and chips were cooked perfectly, the batter was firm and crunchy with no sogginess! I had the prawn tacos, fish and chips and raspberry cheese cake, I couldn’t find one fault!

Filthy dirty tables and floors not clean😡😡, no bloody receipt roll in the self service machines again😡😡, no bbq sauce again😡😡 manager needs to get a grip in there😡🙄🙄
