My Husband, my Dad and I came for breakfast today and all so disappointed, we had two small breakfasts and one large breakfast. My Dad asked for a poached egg, got told no, but later on someone else asked for a poached egg and they said yes. As for the service, we were given a beeper that never went off, the girl carried 5 plates, 3 of toast and two small breakfasts, walked straight past us and put on the counter walked back and said the plates are hot, she came back and served my Husband his My Husband and Dad had to push in the queue to get our food, whicch is rude, I could not go up as I am disabled. As for the food, it was a rip off, beans were cold, and the plate it was count the item and you could of counted the beans Very disappointed, considering how much we spent including the Lattes

Myself and my wofe got married here 2 years ago today so thought we would come and have our anniversary dinner here. There was only one word to describe this which is amazing. They have recently had a refurbishment here and it is beautiful and is ideal for anyone. Families, couples or business. We where welcomed by a lovely lady who showed us to our table and took our drink order. We went at lunch time so I had the quiche and my tuna mayo or ciebatta. Nothing was aby trouble and the food was cooked beautifully. We said hello to the owner Mark as him and his wofe Kate catered our wedding food and he was lovely. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone they serve lovely food and is open to the general public not just golf members. The terraced is lovely and the views are stunning. Weather your wanting a wedding, buiness lunch, a date or a family meal this little gem does it all. Thank you to the lady serving us for making our anniversary special (im so sorry I didn't catch your name!) And also to wayne the chef for the wonderful food and coming to wish us a happy anniversary. Also thank you to Mark. We will deffiently be returning with the family aswell

What a difference from the previous incumbents! Well cooked delicious food in generous measure. Great for breakfast or a lunch. Coffee or tea with free refils can't be bad either. Trouble is I can't resist their bacon rolls even after having my own breakfast.....

I normally have a lovely experience,i am used to the lovely focused staff and incredible drinks however, the staff that was serving on the 4th of june were unfocused, chatting to each other which left me and other customers waiting for about 10 mins, took them ages to make as they were chatting and gossiping! i normally don’t like writing reviews but felt this was necessary:/ photo is supposed to be a mint choc chip frostino 🤦‍♀️

This is a very nice pub but called in for drinks at 3pm on a Saturday. Struggled to find a table as minority occupied or mostly reserved but empty . Two hours later the majority of the reserved tables were still unoccupied . Poor management in my view.

We fancied a change from the hotel restaurant and the menu the Freke Arms offered had plenty of gluten-free options as well. We booked and received a message back quickly confirming the booking. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. Menu options were explained clearly and there were several specials on offer. The food we received was plentiful and very tasty indeed and the beer and wine were delicious. All the staff were friendly and we had a good chat about the pub as it had a bit of history. Karen and her staff went above and beyond and the service we received was first class. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly stop by the Freke Arms for a meal.

This place is a joke, the food is not Chinese but some sort of home made mess. I ordered a chow mein and what turned up was far from that. Instead of the traditional flat style noodles they had used supper noodles, no bean sprouts just what looked like it had come straight out of a plastic pot. We had ordered other dishes but every dish was the same and drenched in sweet and sour sauce. Great if you have ordered sweet and sour but if not then its a bit disappointing to say the least. Would avoid this place like the plague
